Clean room, great food and location. Would recommend to friends and family. Will stay again for sure. Staff in dining area could have been friendlier.
We enjoyed the quality of the suite Staff at breakfast were did not smile and standards of customer service varied
Excellent hotel in a quiet location. Fairly small, even in the middle of the Holliday season, the hotel was very quiet and relaxed. The buffet was very good, didn't even bother to go to one of the al la carte restaurants. Staff was very friendly, and very good with children. Excellent price/value ratio, highly recommended.
Beautiful hotel, friendly staff, great food etc. We had a great holiday at Gran Hotel Atlantis Bahia Real!!
Just Perfect : food, buffet, staff, spa, .... Can't wait to go back
Everything was excelent.
everything was excellent. the staff was very friendlyand always there when you need anything. even a birthday cake and present as a suprise.
The food. This hotel was not as stated on the descriptions/websites....In my opinion not for children, rooms have too many danger points, pool area not adequate for a 5star hotel.
We had sea-view room - 2nd floor. The hotel is situated on the beach and one can see/hear the ocean all time. Very relaxing, quiet (if not a family with a crying baby is next to your room) comfortable and "close to nature". The staff was very friendly. Excellent SPA and very good food! In August- rather noisy (many small children and crying babies!!). in winter- much more quiet! The beach is rather small (however sandy), but one cannot go to the ocean (rocks) and swimmimg is at all not possible . The shuttle to the "Grand beaches"- only 3 times/day. For 5 stars hotel- it should be min.every half an hour.
The rooms were clean and comfortable and the meals were fantastic I would go back tomorrow. Salt water pools didnt stop children using pools but they prefer freshwater.
The location was the only satisfactory thing about this hotel. It is a good location for shops and restaurants. This hotel is definitely not a three star. It is in fact akin to a hostel. The apartments are dirty. I found finger nail cuttings from the rooms previous occupants on the floor at the edge of my bed on the first morning. The towels are changed every thrid day. The hotel will not change them more regularly. There are broken, sharp tiles on the floors throughout the apartment. Most of the doors have holes in them as if they have been kicked. The showers are hand held hoses with verylittle water pressure. There is plaster falling off the walls inside and outside the apartments and on the walls surrounding the pools. The hotel also does not have air conditioning in any room. The whole complex seems to be infested with flies and mosquitoes.
Good location. Nice staff. Especially ladies in reception, poolwatch-guy and evening entertainer, who did his best for the few kids around. Clean rooms but a bit outdated. Did not choose all inclusive, but breakfast buffe was better than I expected. The whole place needs a good make over. Especially the pool area which is worn down, slippery and contains a lot of broken tiles inside and around pool. Also needs a good paint job. Could be dangerous if you don't watch your step. Fix that and I would likely go there again. The worst reviews is not fair though. In total it is an OK place for the price you pay!
Location, pools microwave, TV or safe key have to be rented, breakfast OK, but always the same
I thnk the complex was very spacious, and there was plenty of facilitys on this site.I would recomend this place for value and positining. The only thing which was not up to stantard was the matress and pillows
Very Nice hotel had everything that you needed for a lovely holiday.
apartments within close proximity to beach, shopping and entertainment. Large swimming pool to be enjoyed by all ages.
Nice rooms, good service, good that the apartments are in the centre of town, near to beaches, nice staff. Maybe the food wasn't every day fresh. I mean the fruit and the vegetable was kind of the previous days.
so easy to find straight across from bus stop... apartment was so clean and were cleaned every day...... good location close to all the shops and pubs.... have to say realy enjoyed our stay there and would go back again :)
No Kettle No Ashtray No Teatowels,No Dishcloths, No towels or bedding for third person booked into the apartment, overall bad experience, will not be staying again.
We have stayed there for five days in late November. Good location, very close to the sea (some rooms with sea view) and several minutes to bus stop, big parking in front of hotel. Three big supermarkets are nearby (5 minutes walk) plus plenty of restaurants within easy reach (10 minutes walk). Very nice pool with many sunbeds (not really comfortable). Rooms are spacious with good equipment (microwave, fridge, utensils) - enough to have nice, budget holidays with your own cooking. Guests were mixture of Germans, English, Poles, Spanish so it was nice company. The weather was very nice with accurate 20-28 degrees during the day - I wonder how it feels during the hot days as rooms do not have air conditioning or at least I did not notice it. Pool was not heated - they said they start to do it in December. Quite far to the beach - the real one in Dunas Park is around 1 hour walk or 10 minutes by bus. Rooms were cleaned five times a week but the shower device was green (??!!) and we did nor feel the room was really cleaned. We got room near main road so the noise was the problem even if the windows were shut. Free TV programs were minimal (2 English ones) and you have to pay to get better choice. All in all Hesperia Bristol is a good value for money and I would highly recommend it for budget travellers.
Well designed, good layout, rooms are sufficient and good value for money. The buffet style breakfast was included in the price of the room, excellent value. Location is very central. You to rent a car to enjoy the Island. Cicar were the best value when we rented. Well stocked supermarket on complex and for bread there is the "British Bakery" about 5 min walk on a parallelroad behind the hotel. remote control fror tv had no battery, was resolved. No double bed, two singles pushed together and easily pushed apart. Otherwise all was just right!
I was given everything I requested in the booking.pool view 10 out 10 Drinks in the bar to expensive so went out every night
The breakfast was lovely and pool area was good The beds were a bit hard and uncomfortable and we had a ground floor apartment with no balcony.
localization, pools, price, sunsets, rent a bike, breakfasts on a terrace, view on the sea and lanzarote, quiet,
its location nice pool area rooms could be better paint work needed doing.covers on settee fallin to pieces . could not sit on the balcany we were on pool leavel cats all over .
The location is excellent, it is near the coast, the harbour, shops, bars and restaurants as well as the bus station. We were allowed to take our small dog and we were pleasantly surprised by a dog bed, biscuits and dishes provided. The site provides meals and has a snack bar and pool; there seemed plenty of sunbeds (at least in November out of season). No air conditioning. In a ground floor apartment it is not safe to leave the door open all night, so it is was stuffy and hot. No kettle is provided, but there was a coffee maker. The apartment we stayed in is need of upgrading, yet we, like other budget travellers are thankful for cheap accommodation like this near the harbour.
The animation team was good. The following points made our day not plesant: cockroaches in the room, the food was not varied enough in particular the salades were boring, only one heated pool and babies were aloud in the pool without a swim nappy.
Compact complex which made it feel small and exclusive. Food was very good and no problems with queuing for food or drink. All inclusive option was great value. Entertainment for kids seemed excellent and evening shows provided variety and we good for adults and children. Nothing. We all thought it was excellent and would definitely go back
Our room was lovely, the hotel is in the process of being refurbished and our Junior Suite was fresh & modern. The nearby town of Corralejo had plenty of bars, restaurants & shops all reasonably priced. Never actually used the Spa/Gym, but went there to get fresh towels and it looked good. Plenty of pools and the communal areas were always clean. Kids Club had good variety and staff there were very friendly and dealing with a variety of nationalities. Evening entertainment was decent. Our allocated room overlooked the roof of the Pool Bar, with an ugly great AC generator just feet from our balcony. We asked to swap as we use the balcony in the evenings when our son has gone to bed. The receptionist literally rolled her eyes and sighed. She eventually offered us an alternative but explained it wasn't quite ready. Nearly 4 hours later, the new room was ready ( and she told us not to use our current room in the meantime ) and it was much smaller than the one we wanted to move from and had yet to be modernised, despite the unhelpful receptionist telling us all the rooms were the same. It also had twin beds instead of a double. We ended up returning all our luggage ( without any assistance ) to the original room and getting more rolled eyes and stony faces from the front desk when we pointed out the disparity between the rooms. The food at the buffet was hit & miss. No specific kids section in a family resort. Lukewarm food was the norm, unless you got it on the odd occasion it was refreshed. Huge choice of salad, cold cuts all the time, but the hot food was always of a lesser quality. The waiting staff were efficient, but never said hello/goodbye or had any chat for the kids. Perhaps we're too used to the service available in other countries like Egypt & Mexico, but the Canary Islands are miles behind in this respect. A tennis court shouldn't cost €13 on an All Inclusive resort. No spirits available in the a la carte restaurant which was also buffet as opposed to table service. More lukewarm food with less choice than the main buffet. Oh, and lastly, the little lifeguard was the most miserable, moaning shell of a man I've ever come across. He's also the only employee I've ever seen spit into a swimming pool which is full of kids. he spent more time ranting about people putting towels out than helping people or looking after the pool area like the other lifeguards did. I actually saw him sitting laughing at a woman trying to put up a parasol rather than going to help her. This hotel has the potential to be a winner if they sorted out their customer focus and manners. The location was lovely but I would find it hard to return here despite lovely rooms and facilities.
We enjoyed the layout of the Hotel and the staff were very friendly, aknowledging us on occasions when they didn't really have to, helped to make us feel at home. The shuttle service to the beach was a great bonus, also. Ants and cockroaches in the room
plenty for kids to do, rooms clean and comfortable the hotel had on-site security-pizza guy in Italian restaurant lovely food very repetitive for all-inclusive 2 weeks-good 15 minute walk to main street
I loved everything about the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were beautiful, clean and welcoming. The food was fantastic with a great selection. The drinks were good quality and plentiful. Altogether myself and 5 friends had a great time.
good dinner and breakfast, impressive garden with dozen on different kind of trees, cactus, parking available Poor entrance to get access to the appartments separated by the main hall. Horrible buildings sites abandoned just crossing the road outside the hotel
This is an all-inclusive hotel for families with small children. We rather not recommend it for any couples. There is no beach access and the pools are filled with beach chairs. The main restaurant was not very good in our opinion. The other two restaurants were ok. For those you have to get a reservation in advance and you can dine only once per week there. PCs+Internet & Wifi is available for pay. If we come back to Corralejo we definitely won't stay there anymore!
this hotel is only suitable for families, been only a couple i felt i made the wrong choice.the room we ha d was ok except for the view from the balcony, even though we were over looking a pool you could see nothing but a tree which was over grown and so it blocked every thing, view and light
Food and facilities were great. Excellent for families with lots for kids to do. Close to all facilities in Corralejo.
Facilities for the kids. Food could have been better some of the staff not so friendly.
excellent location, friendly helpful staff, hotel very clean, everything is brand new would reccomend any time couldnt use the internet on my laptop but probably its not their faulth
The staff, the pool, the location.
It central to all restaurants and shopping Hotel staf especially front dest staff very unhelpful. The appartments pool was dangerous as its out of use at present and only a small rail which is no deterrent for small kids. Appartments too small and not good value for money. Unsuitable for young family as too many steps
We were there with 1 year old baby. We liked hotel staff very much and the location - close to the beach and in the centre of Corralejo. Great, clean hotel.
We had a one bed self catering apartment which was very spacious for the three of us. There was a microwave and full oven/grill with halogen hob. The hotel is on the beach. although it is close to the commercial/restaurants area this was not a problem, there was no noise/disturbance. The facilities provided at the hotel were good and were also available to those staying on a self catering basis. We had heard that there had been a number of problems with thefts/burglaries at various complexes (not at the Corralejo Hotel). We were a little disappointed to find that the secure entrance door off the street to the Self catering apartment complex was more often or not left open during the day and not kept secured as the notice on the door had requested.
central location balcony - so small, no furniture to sit out on balcony. Also very dangerous, large ledge when you are stepping onto balcony tjat if you trip you could go over the balcony as balcony rail itself is very low. Also if we were staying more than 1night, you only got 4 coat hangers and the typr of wardrobe it was - you wouldn't be able to add more. So - unsufficient clothes hanging space
Excellent location and breakfast was enjoyable the room was very pleasant and we loved the bathroom. the only problem was the balcony looking out to the street was a bit noisy at night time.
Nice staff, verry good food, lovely place, we will be back next year. advice.....we stayed a week but is not enough.....we raccomand to everybody to take at least 2 weeks for having time to enjoy all. no complaints
We have used the hotel for many years, and the refurb has made it even better. Stylish, well equipped, fantastic location. The room we stayed in was in a separate part of the complex, meaning the pool, restaurant and reception were only accessible by leaving the building and re-entering through another door.
Very good hotel. Stuf very kind, food was very good. I don't know why, but in hotel in reception didn't work my credit card...
We had a terrific stay it the Blue Bay... We found the staff to be so courteous and helpful, and the food, and in particular the breakfast to be excellent
Everything. It was extremely enjoyable. The location was perfect. Short walk to all amenities. Staff are very friendly & honest. Food is of the finest quality. Room is home from home. Thoroughly enjoyable. Would recommend to all. Also very child friendly.
The air conditioning in the room did not cool the room at all. It was cooler to open the doors. I reported this but to no avail.
The staff were very accomodating, the hotel itself is beautiful, rooms are spacious and of a high standard, the pool area is gorgeous and very relaxing and the breakfast buffet is great. Best hotel I have ever stayed in!
The reception staff were so helpfull when we got caught with the ash tried their best to get us home
location and area is realy ouite. Veiw is great. .The behaiver of the stuff at the lobby was very bad and not nice.
Very clean, large, well furnished rooms; comfortable beds; wonderful breakfast; helpful staff; free transfer to Dunes two times a day; good location (close to main street, restaurants, bars, shops...) The price :)
Fully airconditioned, excellent facilities, great choice of food for breakfast and dinner, very quite central location. Complimentary bus to and from beach.Would highly recommend this hotel.
Most pleasent and helpful reception staff. Relaxed athmosphere. Excellent dining room service staff and food selection. One observation was that the foyer area with bar included was too open, suggest more divisional seating areas without full view of entrance doors, when one having drinks. Also recommend a small room dedicated to card tables, this would encourage more players to group with other residents to play cards. Present few tables are included in the large foyer/reception area.
I loved the food there was such a variety each day. It is so close to the beach and the hotel has every facility needed for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday.
very good value for money, basic but clean and pretty comfortable apartments, helpfl staff, good location not that far from the town center.
I had my reservations about this place by the pictures and some of the reviews. When i got there it was amazing the apartment was a sufficient size and the staff were friendly. If you have children it is brilliant there are 4 thomas cook reps and they are brilliant with the children esp Meg and Lee. if you do not keep your sink in the kitchen plugged you will get cockroaches the best way to avoid them is by keeping the plug in.
The one thing was it was very close to the main centre The apartment was very hot all the time, as there was no aircon the bathroom was not in great shape was glad to be going home at the end of the week. there is alot more i could say won't recommend it to anyone. It did put a dampner on our holiday
I found the staff in the Pizzeria, Boulevard and Pool bars very friendly and excellent at there job. reception staff need more training to be a bit more helpful and friendly
We all liked it. Clean, comfortable and beautiful. no
Poor, ageing apartments. Could do with a overhaul, windows didnt lock, rickety sliding doors. Toilet, didnt flush when we arrived, so I fixed it as there wasnt maintenance available. Not cleaned very well, and was very hot without aircon.
The receptionists were friendly and competent they lost my pyjama!!!
sun bathing and and relaxing by the pool mainly, sitting on the balcony overlooking the pool activitiy
Friedly staff, good pool, peacefull and nice garden, cleaning, good beds and kitchen If you are unlucky making your reservation you can have apartment which bedroom is beside the street. The noice of the the cars is terrible. It was rain in one day and we got inside water from the roof and doors. Friendly staff used towels. At the same evening the water line was out of order any hours. The possibility to watch the TV should include rooms price without extra fee.
Nice apartment, enough space for two persons, and very collaborative personnel. Everything but the room is paid, and expensive. Ping pong, tennis court, TV...
Its close to all the amenities The fact that if you need to check out after midnight or before 8:00am you can't,
Insufficient hot water for showers. For a 2 bedroom apartment more seating in common area would have been good.
Unlike almost everywhere else in Corralejo, the Dunapark had vacancy on New Years Eve with very short notice. Cant believe this place calls itself a four star hotel. Decor is very dated. The place felt depressing. It was gloomy in the rooms and corridors, even on gloriously sunny days. So many corridors - it seemed I was in a hospital from the eighties. No recommendation I'm afraid.
Room was a little bit smaller then expected, everything was clean, located in the city center around all entertainments. Good food for breakfast. Pool area and equipment was a little bit old and not clean
the location was top class, the staff were very helpful and friendly and the accommodation and food were very good. nothing of note
a very quiet and relaxing hotel to stay in, it catered for all our needs after a hectic year of work ,lovely pool and garden area to relax in and will return for a other stay very shortly nothing dont change anything
good food, spacious room, receptionists very helpful conditionary air did not work.no elevator.no internet connection available.
very little A lot. Air conditioning practically non existant. No room service after 3.oo pm. No Lift. No help with luggage. Not 4 star.
Hard to sleep at night due to air conditioning not working. Just re-cycled air. A lot of hotels dont have the outside compressors running due to expence. I chose that hotel because I didnt read any reviews stating this. It should also be noted that all the rooms are the same size, a quadruple room just has a extra put you up bed in it.
it was clean and close to all the fun of shopping and the beach yes - it was very hot and could not get the air to work. there should at least be a fan.
Lovely hotel, staff were great and the location was superb for local eating. No
Good value for money hotel. Stayed as Half board and I was happy with the quality and the variety of the food offered. good prices for drinks (1.5 euro for Refreshements - 2 Euros for beer - glass of wine) Should add more sunbeds by the pool as all of them were taken early in the morning by guests towels..
It is a nice, cosy and rather small Hotel. Staff was friendly, breakfast was good (continental with combination of English breakfast). The location is a bit outside main city centre (15 min walking), but that does not change overall very good impression of the Hotel. For people with smaller children and without a rented car it may be better to use hotel in the city centre, though not necessary if you like walking. Swimming pool, for those who will not enjoy excellent sand beaches, is rather small.
The hotel is situated in a quiet part of town within easy walking distance of both the beach and town (20 minutes - each). The staff were really helpful. Andreas - the restaurant manager went out of his way to offer alternative food on the few occasions we ate in the dining room in the evening. We do not eat meat or shellfish and he arranged for freshly grilled fish for us which was beautifully presented. The hotel and the pool area was very clean and the rooms are a good size. Our room overlooked the pool and had the sun all day long so we could even sit on our balcony and soak up the sun. On a couple of occasions there was a problem with the hot water, which was quickly sorted out.
We Booked Bed & Breakfast in Hotel. There was a great Variety of food available every morning with very pleasant staff on site to help. The Rooms were nice and Comfortable which were Cleaned every day and Towels replaced also if requested. One Minor Problem was couldnt get the fridge in our room to work and requested Maintenance Staff to fix it. The Repair Job was Logged by Reception Staff a few times but unfortunatly Fridge never worked up to time we checked out.
very clean room, helpful staff, animations, pool bar, good value.overall very nice hotel no wifi in hotel.food not that good.better go for steak to town.distance from beach
Location great,food great,enough sunbeds,perfect weather..what more do you need ?
we really appreciate good food, nice pool and quite place tv and hairdryer were not free. ping pong and tennis equipment very old and almost broken. entertainment just for english people.
Lots of privacy, very clean. The Villa was situauted at just a couple of kilometers of Corralejo. A nice little town with lots of shops and restaurants. The restaurant give you excellent value for money. Hiring a car turned out to be a good choice. The Island is compact and with a car you can easily travel around. We saw the whole island in 4 days. The Villa has a pool, but this is not heated. So during our stay in december definitly to cold for a swim. The staff told me they were thinking about heating the pool in the future.
Excellent location for north end of the island. The Villas Del Sol are very peaceful and staff are very accomodating. A good upgrade would be either air conditioning or at the least ceiling fans, as it did get very hot at night time in August
loacation to center of resort. Poor basic apartments,No kettel toaster or microwave supplied.Bed un -.comfortable
easy walk to old town and dunes, quite fine for a budget traveller no airconditioning, hotel needs general renovation
Happy helpful staff ants
the location to the centre i did not like the ants that we had to face upon our first night at the apartments, we rang down to reception and they sent us up ant spray which did the job but the smell in our apartment for the week was awful. we had no hot water for the first 2 nights and had to complain 4 times before they delt with the problem. all round i would not reccommend the club las olas.
exccellent treatment by the staffs nothing
