Outstanding views. Loved the beds. Soaking tub in bath.Room darkening shades. Buffet breakfast was very busy but there was a huge variety of food to meet tastes of many cultures. Downtown Copenhagen is 5 stops by Metro. Excellent conference center with multiple theaters and support services. Even has a huge Coi fish pond and a modern windmill outside. Location is not in the city but Metro stop is only one block away. Denmark is expensive. Hotel has several restaurants that serve great, really expensive, food. Don't be shy about using metro to access shops and restaurants. Shuttle to airport was booked by the time checked in so we took taxi to airport.
The whole experience was wonderful. Our room was comfortable, beds great, and the bath, shower was the best and the view was beautiful. Breakfast had a good assortment of eggs, meats, cheeses, cereal and pastries, all delicious. We had drinks and smacks in their Sky lounge very pleasant and tasty. not a thing
This is a superior hotel, starting with the unique Danish design. The hotel is built with a slope but when in the hotel you do. ot notice. The hotel location is very close to the airport about 10 minutes and is located a. short straight walk to the metro. The Bella Center is five stops from downtown The hotel is very modern and very Danish in design(open). The hotel is part of shopping and convention center. The hotel room is very large by euro standards with a large modern and open design When you enter the room the HD TV and telephone have you name shown welcoming to the hotel. My room had queen bed. The bathroom was huge and had a large shower. The room had great lighting and a nice hair dryer. Additional, the hotel provided free buffet breakfast that was complete. Included coffee , tea, bread, cereal, fruit, yogurt , Scrabled eggs, bacon , cheese, turkey and ham slices and. sweet rolls. It was quite good. The hotel also provided a free shuttle to the airport. I thought this was a great hotel and an even better value! My only complaint is the lack of glasses in the bathroom, they provided paper cups ,which I felt was not in keeping with the very high standard for this hotel. Paper cups in the bathroom.
We've just stayed 4 nights in the Bella Sky Comwell in Copenhagen. The hotel is beautifully designed - with its two leaning towers it is a design I've never seen anywhere else. The hotel is located just 3 minutes walk from the metro, there is a bus station right in front of the hotel and the train station is just one metro station away. It is about 10 minutes drive from the airport when the roads are empty. they have a shuttle to and from the airport most of the time. The room was pretty - and looking at the cold weather outside from the 21st floor made it look better. The room is not too big but large enough, a nice TV set, lamps for reading in bed, there is a nice bathroom, a kettle with complimentary tea and coffee. The staff was very helpful and their English was perfect. The breakfast is rich and tasty. The Library restaurant has a small selection of plates but what we've tried was very good. The grill restaurant was OK but the prices are high - as anywhere in this city. All in all - we had a great weekend vacation.
Loved the views at night with the floor to ceiling windows. Staff was very helpful and kind. Room was a good size by European standards and included breakfast was plentiful. Shower did not drain properly, TV would not turn on so access to some services was not possible.
Building is Danish Modern, close to metro, breakfast buffet, and very green building none
Striking design, great staff. empty area of the city, although 2 blocks to Metro.
The rooms are large and modern. The room rate includes free breakfast & WiFi, a free airport shuttle, and there are Metro & bus stations in easy walking distance, so downtown Copenhagen and the rest of Denmark are easily reached via public transport. Not much history and atmosphere compared to the older hotels in the city, but can't beat the value (when there is no major exposition at the Bella Center). On the down-side- The hotel location itself is pretty isolated- if you want to eat a meal away from the hotel, you will need to take the Metro. Also, there can be a lot of tourist bus traffic- the breakfast room gets overwhelmed, as does the front desk at checkout. Unlike most US travel industry, their website does not give the lowest rates- I usually go to one of the travel websites to get a much lower rate than the hotel's direct booking website, and have found that often a rate search conducted from a Danish IP address gets a significantly lower rate than from a US IP address (and sometimes the reverse!)
Breakfast was wonderful! From the great breads to the juice ipad to the yogurt bar, sliced cheese contraption, and the fresh homemade lemonades/teas. We left every day stuffed and skipped lunch. Extremely efficient - even on New Years when everyone in the building seemed to be checking out, staff were able to get through a line of people backed around to the elevators in about 15 minutes. The building is stunning. You might think it's far removed from downtown by looking at a map, but it's only a 10 minute trip downtown and a train ticket is easy to acquire. The beds were two twins pushed together, basically, which is not the most ideal setup for a couple. Also, the down comforter was SO warm that I was sweating through the sheets...which is unusual.
It looked amazing and was excited to stay. Even though I was prepaid they sold my room to someone else. Then I was loaded in 3 different taxis until they found one that was willing to take me to the hotel they were sending me to. The hotel they sent me to was under construction and would not honor the breakfast that was included in my booking. No Marriott's for me for a while
We stayed only one night pre-cruise, but enjoyed the contemporary flair of the hotel and the views from our room on the 23rd floor. Included breakfast was satisfying. At first we were a little intimidated by the walk to the Metro, but it was closer than we thought and very simple to use. The price we paid through Kayak was excellent, too! While the Metro was convenient to the hotel, the hotel wasn't that convenient to anything else but the airport. Might be great for the conference attendee, but not so much for an eager, wide-eyed, first-time visitor to Copenhagen.
We were most impressed by the front desk staff's level of professionalism and friendliness. They were very well trained and had many suggestions regarding our overnight stay in Copenhagen. The airport shuttle worked both ways (to/from) the hotel. The room was amazing.
Nice hotell, large rooms, comfortable bed, buffe breakfast was delicious (but pricy), free internet at the room. Very pleased. not ideal if you are going on a city trip as located close to airport. Say they have shuttle from airport but you need to call for it and in the end it never came so had to take taxi.
We chose this hotel because of the free transfer from/to the airport, since we had an early flight in the morning. The transfer worked well, both ways. We went to Sixt desk in terminal 2/3 and were picked up. Upon arrival at the hotel we booked the transfer back for the next day. If you need a transfer, make sure that Sixt is open if you arrive late to the airport. No problem for us, but I checked with the hotel and they said it would be ok at the time we arrived. We had dinner at the bar in the evening. The food tasted fine and was not more expensive than at other hotels. The size of the meal was ok. The room was nice and clean, and quiet. The temperature in the room could be adjusted. When we checked in, we asked for a twin room (2 separate beds). The girl in the reception assured we would get that, but our room was a double (1 king size bed). I am surprised that she couldn't see it when she gave us the room. There were several rooms available, we could choose between different floors, so she should have been able to give us the requested room.
the rooms are great, the hotel is great its not a complaint but you can improve the gym little bit by putting some extra wieghts etc.
Friendly and efficient reception staff. No attention to details in the cleaning of the rooms. If you look 'underneath' its not cleaned. Toilet seats getting loose, soap cups only cleaned on visible surface. Looks like an outsourced service and this makes the hotel look cheap. Bar was moved to dining area and only one table full. No ambience left. Free shuttle over crowded.
Superb beautiful new modern hotel, very nice and quite!
They are relatively cheap, but for good reason - they are cheap! The staff really let this hotel down... pick from airport took 45 minutes of waiting in 0 degree weather outside at the marked point. I called 3 times, spent about 30 minutes on roaming charges trying to contact the hotel, left 3 voicemails... and nothing. Barely an apology from anybody, and they dared claim they were just busy at reception (not one customer there for 5 staff when we arrived) and then denied that the bus took so long to get to the marked meeting point. Disgusting.
Clean, good quality no..anything
the breakfast was very good The service at the bar/restaurant and how badly the room was cleaned every day. They left trash on the tables and never hanged up the bathrope.
Location and customer service. Service works very well, is natural and very warm. Everything worked more than well.
It is a very new hotel and it only has been running for couple of months. It is smart, clean and well equipped. Staff are nice and friendly. The hotel has excellent shuttle service for the airport and conference centre. It has good room service, room size is nice and it is sparkling clean. Price is reasonable. Their computer booking system doesn't work properly, it has caused a series problems. Staffs between shifts could communicate with each other better. The hotel customer service and problem sloving need to improve.
Excellent location next to both train and metro. Great service; beautiful, modern room; free airport shuttle, and shopping mall across the street.
Simple, modern, clean, wireless internet, value for the money
Exterior design - friendly staff Interior design - not nice - unfriendly - especially ligthing not good - tv placed in a bad height and bad angle. Doublebed moved apart etc. Small things that could easily be fixed by a clever interior designer.
My room was smoky and they gave me a new room fast.
the price, and the room. it was funny! nice price, close to a metro that takes you to the city heart with 23DKK in no time. very cool reception man with good info. The room and the bathroom are so small, but that is the price you pay for such a low cost hotel in cph. there is nothing around but some shopping malls and congress centers. the parking should be free with such open spaces.
Is a noderm hotel, meat the Metro satiation. Rooms are a little bit small, window in the room is not to big.
Near to the train and metro station (one or two stops to the airport by train), clean, quiet and comfortable A little far from downtown area
Good location and the room was as advertised (small if you're expecting a hotel room but as expected). Industrial check in.
everything was very efficient rooms quite small, but still OK
breakfast was to simple
Sure, the room is small. That's the point. The beds were comfortable and clean. Everything you'd expect in a regular hotel - just not many square feet. There is a large shopping center a block away - sort of like a suburban mall. Staff was very helpful. Got us a cab within a few minutes very early on Sunday. It's a 700 meter hike from the train station. It's not obvious how to get started toward the hotel.
Friendly and helpful staff, good location. Bathroom/toilet *very* small even in our upgraded "commodore" room. Not usable for two people as the whole floor gets wet from one bath.
PRICE AND BREAKFAST WERE GOOD. SO WAS THE LOCATION AND PARKING. I HAVE NEVER STAYED IN A ROOM THAT SMALL. ONE COULD BRUSH ONE'S TEETH WHILE GOING TO THE BATHROOM AND TAKING A SHAOWER AT THE SAME TIME. QUITE CREATIVE! THE BEDDING WAS NOT VERY GOOD BUT DID THE JOB. NOW I KNOW WHAT LIVING IN A MATCHBOX WOULD FEEL LIKE.
excellent staff at reception and restaurant.Subway is next door and goes to centre and airport baby cot was not possible in booked room even thougt payment was taken of the credit card weeks before stay. We had to take an upgrade which was 50% more then original price! Lots of dead flies in babycot and blood stains on pillow. Why is there airport in the name??? It's too far away from it so you might as well stay in the centre rather then in the middle of nowhere, although i must admit that the subway is next door and goes to the airport.
Proximity to a Metro station, literally next door. This was ideal for an overnight before an early morning flight from the airport wh was only a few minutes away on the Metro and for getting to the hotrl by train.. Good breakfast which was available from 5.30. Comfortable beds in a bedroom which had everything necessary, i.e. desk, chair, armchair & coffee table. Good wi-fi available in the bedroom Bedroom was rather compact. Although the hotel is beside the metro station there is no sign on the side of the hotel facing the station so, arriving at night, It could have taken me a while to find the entrance if I hadn't already located the hotel on Google Maps
Good responsive staff. Rooms were a bit crammed.
Nearness to the airport
Friendly staff, safe environment, excellent food and outstanding fitness club. The breakfast buffet was outstanding. The restaurant was a bit expensive.
Near the metro Nice bed Good breakfast No serviceminded bartender breakfast juice horribly sweet bad coffee (all over Denmark)
I don't consider this hotel as a value for money. 745 DKK per night is very much for this. Add youghurt to the breakfast menu, to improve login system to the Internet, or at least leave a message what the guest should do to connect to the Internet. It was very inconvienient to call to the reception to "activate" Internet. The manager that checked us in was very inattentive, blocked our key and Internet because "he thought we came only for one night" whereas we had 2-nights booking.
Located just next to the metro line, 2 stops from the station and 6 stops from central Copenhagen. Trains seem to be at max 3-5 minutes apart, and didn't seem like you ever had to wait long. This hotel was ideal for a city break trip. Checked in and dropped the cases off, then was able to use the same train ticket to continue into the city. Buffet breakfast included. Reasonably good, with selection of english and european style food. The hotel is currently having rennovation work being done, so there's scaffolding outside reception etc.. Didn't bother us, and this minor inconvenience was reflected in the price.
Very near to metro station and airport. Easy to reach city center by metro without transfers. Good breakfast.
I thought room was cold, food was nice but cold, should have been told about hotel construction as the flapping of the canves covers on the scaffolding kept me awake
convenient for the airport, nice staff.
Excellent Location, will stay there again
It´s not copenhagen airport hotel, but Dragoer Badehotel, why 2 names one hotel ?? At arrival, we where not in there booking system, it was 1330 and they still had´nt done last nights bookings!!! So our room where not ready, and not cleaned, and in the morning, no hot water, realy bad. Doing the bookings, is something you do at arrival in the morning so you can PLAN for the next guest. Not 1400 in afternon.
I arrived at 11.15 so was pleased to see the reception still on duty, though about to leave. Accommodation quite basic, small twin beds, lights not all working, very old fashioned room and bathroom, no lift but narrow stairs. Seemed to be more than 3 kms from Kastrup.
The staff were lovely, very helpful and friendly. The location was a bit too far out of the centre of Copenhagen.
Location was close to airport, which is what I was looking for. Very uncomfortable beds and rooms were well used and in need of a makeover.
The beautiful location
The view of the Oresund and bridge. The price. The furnishings were very dated and tired, and the staff were disinterested. The hotel needs a lot of attention to bring it up to a reasonable standard.
nothing !!! Bad saggy smell. untidy staff. the room were not clean at all and the corridor vas very dirty
This was our second stay at the hotel and we love being able to look out over the water. Both times there were problems with our reservations but they were straightened out by the staff
just a very short (night-) stay (less than 1`0 hours)
Location, wiev I would like the hotel to a littel more clean overall and more up to date.
The personal are so sympathetic. Conform to the description. The price is a bit high. In Paris for the same price the one can find really better hotels. Besides, not far from the hotel (20 mins walking) there is a 4 star hotel for just more Euros.
Internet access, breakfast places around the hotel, location during a 5-day-stay there were no cleaning in the room neither changing the towels and bedclothes
I visited Copenhagen centre, made a boattrip trough the harbour & visited Tivoli gardens
dirty room, no cleaning services during our stay, very bad bathroom
rather poor cleaning standards, especially concerns the bathroom and the shower cabin; extension sockets hanging in the air - not "childproof".
Excellent location, not far away from metro station. If you are going to Copenhagen and don't want to spend too much on a hotel cause you ll only use it for sleeping; this is the place to be. Exellent beds. The room was on the small side but price/quality wise it was ok.
One of the cheapest hotels you could find in Copenhagen. 5 minutes walking to the Metro station. All in all, it can be taken into consideration if you just want to find a place to have sleep during travelling. Sometimes it makes you awake at midnight or hard to fall asleep till midnight because of noise made by young people outside the windows.
the hotel staf was great. Very hepfull. Very quiet area but not too far from the center. Maybe we were expecting something better for the price but after being in estocolm and copenhaguen i think the price was ok.
Rather good location (15 minutes from centre) and a short walk from Islands Brygge metro station. Very nice room, good bathroom facilities and nice staff! The paid internet connection was very tempremental and was very slow at times during the evening.
Friendly staff, nice breakfast for very reasonable price. Our room was very small. The toilets and showers can do with some more thourough cleaning.
That the check out time is now 1000Hrs -instead of 12oohrs. means poorer service than before
Hotelli ottaa 4% lisähintaa, jos maksaa luottokortilla!! Lisäksi hotellin vastaanotossa vahva tupakan käry (huolimatta Tanskan uudesta tupakkalaista).
Exeptionally nice staff - I arrived too early from difficult flight - but the let me have the room with a welcoming smile - Exellent service
Bar in which breakfast is served is very cosy. And all the atmosphere in the hotel is nice and homelike. The man at the reception was friendly. The door in the shower is badly attached and can sort of fall on you while you try open\close it:) Sorry i don't remember the room number:)
Not really worth the money, except its location The room was too conjusted
Close to the airport: 6 metro stops and 5 minutes walk busstops near the hotel, to centre and railway station quiet room at the backside with good beds Little comfort, small bathroom, old fashioned furniture. We were disappointed when we entered the room: for the price we expected a much better room. Plain breakfastbuffet
Great price for location. Room was basic but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a basic but very nice continental buffet. There was a little mildew on the grout around the shower but would only put off the fussiest of people, the bathroom was well cleaned apart from this.
Close to buses. Provided a hair drier. Friendly staff. Small reception area sandwiched next to a smokey bar which doubled as the breakfast room in the morning. Hallways dark; you have to grope for light switches.
Location was very nice for walking to city center and shopping. The personal assistance from the hotel personnel was excellent. The lounge and cafe allowed smoking so this made the hallways and reception area smell of cigarette smoke. If you are a non-smoker, it made the smell very bothersome. If a person does smoke, then they wouldn't be bothered by this.
Not far from the center, 20 minutes by bus from the airport. Quite good to spent one night between flights.
I liked stay at the Danhostel Copenhagen Amager becouse it is pretty cheap and nor far from Copenhagen Airport Kastrup.
I had a roof on my head! I had to pay everything "extra", even a plastic teaspoon. The room was too little. they take 2% extra price when you pay with credit card.
I was in a conference near to the hotel. The location was excellent for this. Poor service, bad value for money
It was clean Even though it was cheap, it was still too expensive for what it was. I got annoyed when I got there and was informed that they sent me an email ( I never recieved) where it said I had to pay extra for bedsheets and for a card to allow me to stay there. Further more, it was a place for poor homeless people in denmark and I did not feel comfortable staying there.
The rooms and restroom was clean. The place was not crowded and so there was no queuing up for the restrooms! probably because it was winter time and there were not many travellers to copenhagen at that time. It was very close to a metro stop(bella centre) and hence we were well connected to the rest of the city. There were no shops nearby and it was in a kind of isolated area. So better to stock yourselves up with food and groceries before you reach the place. Of course the hostel had some stuff like noodles, bread and other eatables and a decent kitchen, but new travellers may not adjust to it immediately.
Decent distance to metro and airport. 10min walking and 20min train/metro to airport. Many showers. Too expensive for a hostel that's not in the center of things. Extra $7 for linens (no towel) is a bit excessive. Not enough electric outlets in room/next to beds, where you can charge your phone
Personal was very nice and kind, I was feeling like a home.
Good rooms, excellent breakfast! Many additional taxes... Real price increases on 10-15 euro.
the room was dreadfully smelly
kitchen and utensils provided. spacious with large common area, as well as playground for children. inconvenient location with 15 mins walk from metro. far away from the city centre. no free wifi. if you are not international hostel member, nd to pay for extra 35DKK per night.
