Cons: was lured in by low online rate but then aggressively upsold into insurance that I didn't need, such that I ended up paying three times the amount I was originally quoted. I would not use them again.

After long wait at counter, company would not honor arranged price
Cons: Company required purchase of insurance which would more than double rental price. Declined to rent and rented instead from National at adjacent counter with no problems and lower price. Will not rent from Europcar again. Was fortunate to find and available car, in same class, at a good price during holiday week..

Cons: Representative I initially self with was unpleasant. Fortunately someone stepped in to be more helpful.
The cost was much more than I paid during my last visit to the UK.

Mixed, but generally good.
Pros: Nice clean cars and helpful staff.
Cons: Had to wait 45 min for pickup, and bill was £20 more than it should have been - but they were quick to address when I pointed it out.

Cons: They double charged me for insurance. I paid you for insurance and then they told me they did not recognize it, and they wouldnt give me the car unless I bought theirs. Their insurance cost two times more than the whole rental.
Cons: Hertz refused to release the car at the price quoted by Kayak. Even though I had pre-paid the insurance.
I hired a car from Avis at a lot less.
Also it seems I am unable to reclaim the pre-paid insurance.

Quick & Easy
Pros: Attendant came right over. Great attitude considering it was before 7 am on a Saturday. No hassles on the turn in checklist. Asked which airline I was flying - told me the terminal - and which shuttle bus to board. That's service !
