Pros: Everything went like clockwork, so I would say I would rent from them again, and most likely go through Kayak again.

Pros: Nice car
Cons: I was quoted a $20 per day price for a week's rental but when I needed to drop it off after a day, I was CHARGED FOR THE ENTIRE WEEK. They specifically said that there would be no pre-payment charge, and my insurance company would not reimburse me for a Dollar rental, so I had to return. Feel REALLY RIPPED OFF!

Pros: The guy at the counter worked hard to get me a car as soon as possible.
Cons: I figured if I requested a car at 1pm that I'd have a car at 1pm not at 3:30pm

will not use dollar again
Pros: Pick up was ok the guy was nice, he did kinda change his attitude when we didn't want the extra insurance. There was no one in the parking lot causing us to drive around because the lot was full! Needless to say we will not use dollar again.
Cons: The main thing was the windshield wipers were so bad that it was almost impossible to drive in the rain, extremely dangerous at night!!!!! We were tempted to take the car back but really didn't have time on our short trip. The maintenance was past due said right on the windshield and the transmission was horrible! Not to mention the Fiat 500 is in general a horrible car to even use as a rental!

Cons: This office is understaffed and not supported well by their national counterparts. I was up in Idaho on vacation andI ended up in the hospital. It was not an injury/illness that came about from vacationing. I could not return the car. They told me they do not have any staff that could come pick it up even tho I was willing to pay, I could not add on another driver to drop it off, and they offered no solution other than if I died, they could then do what they normally do in those circumstances. I had to drive it back to them to return their car, rather than fly back from where I fell ill so as to get back to the doctors and hospital who could help me. Never use this office, it should be shut down, and I will never use dollar/thrifty/ or hertz (their corporate owner) again!

Bad customer service
Pros: The price was good
Cons: The rep gave me an upgrade, that I requested, but wouldn't clarify the increase in price, even though I asked multiple times. When she showed me the total price, it was way too much and I told her I couldn't afford it, and she gave me a nasty attitude. Then she ran my card incorrectly and told me she couldn't run it again for 24 hrs, so I had to go to a different rental counter

Pros: Car was nice.
Cons: When I checked in, the gentleman at the counter asked if I had insurance. I told him I had purchased insurance when I rented the car online. He said, "It's not showing up on here, so it must not have gone through. So you did want insurance, right?" I told him yes. He asked no more questions gave me the bill. I am obviously too trusting because the next day I looked at the bill and they had charged me for every type of insurance available. The insurance cost $180 for two days. It's absolutely ludicrous. I was taken advantage of. He never asked me any questions, what I wanted, etc. Just added it all.

No renting with Debit Card
Cons: I had a debit card that was also marked as a Visa and my driver's license. I was told it was company policy to require another form of ID. Those were my forms of ID and payment, so I wasn't able to rent from them. Apparently their sister agency, Thrifty, has the same policy.
I ended up renting from Hertz and had a wonderful experience.

Boise is just plain better
Pros: They were open late and able to help me get home quickly. Far better customer service than what I received in Corvallis Oregon.
Cons: I wish they had complimentary coffee or tea for customers.

Outrageous lack of service, HELP
Cons: I arrived at the airport in Boise, ID after midnight. I had reserved a car online. There was one clerk on duty on holiday Friday night.
He informed me that I had 150 free miles, which was not stated online.
He then informed me that my car was in the "over flow" lot and when I hiked to the lot I could push the red button on the key and the HORN WOULD HONK. I am 74 years old and had two large suitcases to drag with me. It was a long way to the DARK lot and a long way to the far end of it where I found the car. I was hoping the honking would attract police but no such luck. I figured out how to use the essentials to start and drive off.

Pros: Excellent service, friendly people, great car
Cons: I declined all of the gas options and returned the car completely full, filling it at the station right there at the airport. Nonetheless, they charged me $13.99 for gas without telling me. I noticed when I reviewed the receipt while sitting at the gate for my flight. I was so made I went out through security and initially they said I needed to produce a gas receipt, which was the first I'd heard of it. Eventually they relented and took the charge off. The guy at the desk was great but the policy from Avis is mean-spirited and another example of customer-unfriendliness.

Pros: We loved the car, the ease of transport and the overall cost of the car. The owner was great at helping with the rental process.
Cons: We thought the car could have been cleaned a little better. The inside of the car looked as if it hadn't been vacuumed.
Cons: They didn't have the suburban that I had reserved and needed. They offered me an ECONO Van with aged and worn tires! Wow.... I had to go to Hertz!

No cars available, rude and unhelpful
Cons: When I arrived there were no cars available. The woman told me I may be waiting a couple hours and suggested I look elsewhere. She did not apologize for the inconvenience nor offer any assistance.
I ended up renting from Avis after the man from Budget helped me find an affordable rental.
