From check in to check out, great service throughout. A nice breakfast of eggs, toast, yogurts, cold cuts, cereals, juice, coffee and even champage (or so we thought as we didn't partake). They have a VERY small workout room and spa upstairs. The room we had was spacious and very grand - befitting of a building that was owned by Evita. The lobby was beautiful. They even allowed held our luggage and let us shower at the spa prior to us leaving on a late 9 PM flight. We would stay again. The Recoleta area is very nice and is where some wealthy people live. However, it offers very little in the way of nightlife. There are a few restobars around the Cemetery but nothing like Palermo. If you want ready access to lots of bars, restaurants and clubs, you should probably not stay here.
Confort, discretion of the staff
hotel staff carpets need to be cleaned
excellent location and that,s it . not even close a five star hotel , very small rooms for buenos aires standars , breakfast in line with a 3 star hotel. very small rooms , bathroom door a inside the closet door , so so personell , I think is. 3 star hotel and all the services are in line with that category . very nice location you are better off at casa cruz hotel 4 blocks from meli's
it was a very pleasent stay. Hotel staff was very helpfull
The staff is friendly and helpful. It is a boutique hotel. I loved it!
The rooms were well appointed and the staff was very attentive and helpful
The staff was most gracious and accomodating. Location near the park and the cemetery was well located ,surrounded by by nice shops and restaurants.
Perfect location, exceptional service, fabulous room design and comfort, delicious breakfast, sensational wine selection and a beautiful spa.
Absolutely a great place to stay in ba. Located well and very comfortable. I can't say enough about the staff and their willingness to assist. If you go..ask for Pablo to help....he can do anything!!
position very noisy dark room
The front desk staff were helpful and friendly. The room was quiet and roomy. It was a great value and in a very nice safe area of the city. The smallness was most appreciated also. Felt warm and inviting.
hotel staff was nice, hotel situation, nice rooms no swimming pool
The staff is outstanding. The Recoleta location is perfect. We studied for our sight seeing ( first trip to BA) and the staff helped us get there. The in house restaurant and bar is very good if you need to stay in. We had a slight medical problem, and were sent to a very good doctor three blocks away.
Wonderful location, near high end shops, and an excellent english speaking staff capable of recommending excellent places to eat and to tour! No..nothing. I loved the rooms, the intimate size, the efficiency of the the cleaning and service staff.
Love the amazingly large rooms in a city, great layout of the bedrooms with huge bathrooms. Most of all loved the people, who made our stay incredible. They helped find us new, unique restaurants and sat with us at the bar to talk about life in Buenos Aires. Would stay there again everytime I'm in BA.
Saff were excellent, friendly and tried very hard Decor is old and shabby, the whole hotel needs big investment. The lobby and bar area were deserted and unwelcoming. We went to the Alvear Palace hotel most evenings for a coffee or a drink, just for the athmosphere. However the staff were most helpful
Hotel staff very helpfull. The exellent location for my purpose and felt safe in the area. Taxi rank very near made it convenient and quick to get around. The bathroom in my room was in need of a bit of paint and repair. Sealent around jacuzzi needs replacement.
Great location, good accomodation! Internet was paid in the rooms and dropped all the time.
Clean, excellent staff very helpful, Early check in would be nice, I arrived from Canada @ 10am and I could get a room until 300pm, I have meetings booked and would like to rest and shower so to get into a room for early check in would be very good.
The hotel is in a good lcoation close to the cemetary and Recolata Village. The hotel provided free wifi which worked well. The hotel is in need of an overall renovation; it is clear from the general state that the owners are not investing money in it. The rooms and bathrooms are shabby although clean. The gym and pool area are in a very bad state. Probably around half of the machines in the gym are broken and rusting due to being located in the pool area. The pool however was heated which was a plus.
Great location opposite the Recoleta Cemetary, surrounded by a dozen neat restaurants serving all kinds of foods. Also adjacent to some great but expensive shops. Great breakfast, great roof-top pool. We were upgraded to a suite which was huge with a balcony overlooking the cemetery, but the rooms themselves desperately need work, carpets are stained, some windows have no window coverings, the huge Jacuzzi tub looked too dirty to use, so we just used it to shower. I'm sure the rooms are adequately cleaned but its just shabby; if we were in the standard room I had reserved I would consider the hotel too expensive given its shabbiness.
lots of restaurant choices very close to hotel. Needs some updates no desks in room to work on
Good location. Carpet in the rooms.
Located in a great area of Buenos Aires. Lot's of restaurants, nightlife and parks. Hotel needs some remodelling.
Proximity to shopping & restaurants in Recoleta. Staff was great Rooms were worn out, in need of renovation
health club facilities--nice pool and workout room with weight machines and free weights. Convenient to Recoleta. Good prices usually. Many rooms are run down. Breakfast does not have healthy selections. Street turns very tacky in one direction.
I chose Arc recoleta because of its location. The rooms that I stayed were comfortable and quite spacious. Breakfast (mixed argentine and american) included. Fresh pastries,a lot of them if you care for sweets in the morning, yogurts , bread, and fruit in their breakfast. Also scrambled eggs and sausages. Rooms were comfortable with microwave, small fridge and sink. Beds were comfortable. The rooms included a big sofa, desk and little table. Comfortable for one-two people. The place has great potential but read the improvements! The staff were courteous and professional but a bit cold. Same with servers in the cafeteria. Breakfast can improve a bit, especially the scrambled eggs which were undercooked. They have a swimming pool which is ONLY available during summer time, they said in November ??? Their "spa" is a sauna and hot bath but the guests need to tell front office ahead of time so they will prepare them. They say they offer "airport shuttle" but when I asked it was a radio taxi! They need to be more truthful in their listings. The small kitchen with the sink does not include paper towels or even a cloth towel. Needs to be better equipped.
We arrived in the early morning and rather then make us wait they upgraded us to an available room.
My stay at Loi Suites, Recoleta hotel was an absolute delight on both occasions- December 12 and january 1. Both times I had a bright, clean, well-appointed room. Comfortable seating and ample desk space and a comfortable bed. Late on December 12 night, I turned off the AC and opened the window on the ninth floor overlooking a bustling, shopping city preparing for the Christmas holidays. The symphony of car horns, people laughing, sirens in the distance and the swell of air conditioning units lulled me to sleep to dream of the happy, busy environs. The people behind the desk could not have been more polite and accommodating. I had arrived early but my room was available and I was escorted there my a helpful young man toting my very heavy bag. I had a n opportunity to walk around this lovely area of Buenos Aries- my first visit to this delightful city. The breakfast room and lobby very bright and inviting . I spent most of my second visit reading in the spacious lobby while waiting for a taxi to take me to the airport and home. My fond memories of Buenos Aires are enveloped in my stay at Loi Suites. Thank you so much for such a memorable visit to you city. Peggie O' Neill (Margaret P' O'Neill
Everything about our stay was excellent. The staff was extremely helpful and always treated us with the upmost courtesy and concern. The room was very nice and the housekeeping staff outstanding. I would highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Buenos Aires. It was both elegant and comfortable.
Excelent location, very nice hotel staff and very good breakfast.
The staff was very professional. The rooms are quiet. We had the upgrade (with the 16 year old son it was great!).Best value for money! If we go to BsAs again we'd surely stay here.
Lovely hotel and location. We were very tired from travel and had a great sleep after requesting extra pillows. small pillows
The location is excellent, close enough to walk to shopping, interesting places like the Recoleta Cemetery.
Value for money; comfort; excellent location. None.
Very nice situated, at night there is no problem at all, we felt safe to walk to the restaurants just around the corner.
The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful.
Location, design, breakfast buffet. Key system: only allowed one key.
Location Lobby Key System is just plain NOT WORKING Service Staff are not accomodating Room X04 are noisy in the morning as they are ajoining to a SCHOOL
Modern, well laid out rooms, very comfortable bed, excellent bathroom, secure, great location, excellent breakfast. Friendly efficient staff. Very noisy until late into night with nightclub and restaurants next door.
Excellent location !!! Nice room, nice shower and bed. I didn't like the breakfast room, it is underground, but the breakfast is good. Urban is very nice cost x benefit ratio hotel.
Staff are very friendly and very helpful. The location is very central to all the city's attractions. The hotel is next to a bar/nightclub and the music is very loud, and goes until about 6am. Take your ear plugs if you are a light sleeper.
Everything was perfect, staff, location, room design and cleaniness, breakfast. The only exception is the one noted below. The bar/disco sound vibration was too pronounced until very early in the morning, ie, 6:00 am on sat/sun and sun/mon.
The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. This was my first trip to Buenos Aires and did not know any Spanish. The staff is fluent in both Spanish and English. They were very helpful in teaching me some Spanish. The hotel was very clean and the room was clean & comfortable. The best thing about this hotel is the location relative to restaurants, shopping and city attractions.
Location of hotel was convenient to shopping, taxis restaurants. Size of room + terrace was quite ample. Bathroom was modern Bed throw sas dirty. Also terrace should be mopped at least every other day. Plumbing was so so. Worst of all was the noise of the disco. Fitness center is really lacking , and machines are not always functioning or of good quality.
Its location and the room size and furnishings jacuzzi was closed, maid service could have been a little better
The position of the hotel is excellent. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms are large, stylish and comfortable. The disco next door is extremely noisy on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. The noise can be heard in rooms on lower floors with walls adjoining disco. The breakfast room in the basement is rather claustrophobic
Very modern and stylish. The rooms were excellent with lots of little details that really left and impression. Staff were wonderful and helpful and breakfast was good, with the buffet kept stocked even when we arrived just before it finished.
The location is outstanding. Easy access to many points of interest and restaurants. Suite is adequate, breakfast ample and staff very friendly and English speaking. Highly recommend for the value. Bathrooms could be more accommodating, such as tissues and body lotion. Simple amenities which one would expect from this modern hotel. Balconies did not offer chairs or much of a view.
The hotel was very clean and pleasant to stay in with very helpful and friendly staff. Sorry, but please, can hotels supply paper tissues in the bathroom? This might seem like a very small issue but it is very impractical when there are none!
Very clean, new and comfortable. The staff were kind and friendly enough. But the spa was not good as I saw in the picture, I didnt see anyone using it.
The HJ Hotel Boutique Recoleta is located on a very nice neighbourhood. It`s brand new, the room is really comfortable and Jacuzzi is worthwhile. Service is fine with promt and gentle employees. The breakfast could be more diverse, but it`s Ok. We`ll probably stay there again in a near future, as well as we recommend it as a very good option when visiting Buenos Aires.
The staff was very helpful when it came to solving problems, especially with our poor Spanish skills, and was accommodating to us in helping us overcome scheduling problems. We were very satisfied with the overall staff and facilities at this hote.
The desk staff (four that we dealt with during our stay) were accommodating, helpful and they went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. They called the tour companies for us to confirm our reservations, they booked taxis for us, helped us with the Internet, and made every effort to get us into our room as soon as it was ready. Most big hotels cannot offer this type of personal service. The staff made the difference between a good hotel and an excellent one. thank you This is not the hotel's fault but the tour drivers and one of our taxis drivers had a lot of difficulty finding the hotel - one way windy streets. This caused delays in picking us up at the hotel.
excellent hotel and friendly staff The Gym is poor.
The staff at the reception desk were wonderful. They were extremely helpful and pleasant. Esp Adriano, Sebastian, and Max.. All of our questions and requests were efficiently and promptly handled.. The bufffet breakfast was more then ample and the baked goods were tasty, fresh and slightly changed daily. Our stay was a very pleasant experience. The bathtub is difficult for senior citizens to step into, the shower head must be pointed too close to the fixture or else the floor gets very wet. The shower glass partition could be longer to keep floor dry if head is directed further toward back of tub.
Large rooms in a quiet area of Recoleta. Easy access by foot to many touring areas.
The staff at the reception were excellent couldn't do enough for us. When we arrived at the hotel they gave us a welcome drink. They booked tours, told us where the best restaurants were, organized transfers. The area was very safe to walk around at night. The rooms were very large. Nothing
luxury, quite, clean
Location Room too small
Well located, they have a kitchenette (where you can cook, but we had to ask for the pots, since there were none, and no microwave but a sandwitch grill oven). Nice and well decorated common areas, small but efficient elevators, good central heating system (but it was not connected everyday, curiously), good breakfast, nice staff. Screws missing on the bath holder, on the towels holder, the drying machine would only work if you pressed the button constantly. Flush would not take the paper away, some electric sockets did come out of its place... ...a lot of maintenance was missing. We were left with no blanket on the duvet for 2 days without a reasonable reason (it is a holiday, we were told).
The hotel is in a beautiful old part of town, within walking distance of restaurants and the port area. Breakfasts are served on the top floor and included fruit salad, fresh orange juice, rolls, ham and cheese and various spreads. Staff were helpful. We were initially shown to the wrong room (one that appeared to be more expensive than ours), although the mistake was quickly rectified and the porter very apologetic. Our "room" included two levels - a sitting room area with tv, couch and cupbaords downstairs, and a bedroom and bathroom upstairs. It suited us very well but might not be suitable for older guests or those with young children as the stairs had no rail and could be hard to negotiate. Also, having the cupboard (and therefore all our clothes) downstairs proved a bit inconvenient as the bedroom and bathroom were upstairs.
Everything was wonderful. Staff was extremely helpful. Our room for three was great. Very clean! Location is fantastic. Absolutely wonderful.
A small boutique hotel, with good facilities located in the heart of Recoleta. Close to the tourist area of Recoleta, great shopping and nice restaurants. Bathrooms need installation of an exhaust fan, and breakfast menu could be improved with more fruit and perhaps offer some more quality cheese, maybe eggs, etc
Superb location and very good staff Bathroom door didn't close well. No coffee or tea with the kitchenette. Walls quite thin.
location.the size off the room.the staff ,small kitchen -everything was perfect
Location , extremely helpful and accomodating staff effective wi fi
