Excellent staff - most spoke some English and all were extremely helpful, friendly and polite. Great location, nice area and close to metro. lovely lounge room on 2nd floor with relaxation area and free internet. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Other guests were sometimes very noisy coming in late at night.
They were attentive and helpful. We arrived early and they held a bag for us for a week while we travelled south and then had the bag in our room for when we returned.
its location, in a very good area of palermo-Its size, a small run hotel, with friendly staff and good service facilities and breakfast the fact that there was no window in the room
The highlight of the stay at this hotel was the full breakfast included in the room rate which included delicious pastry, cooked to order eggs, fresh squeezed juices.
The room was extremely clean, and the staff was helpful The basic room was very small, and the bed is full size instead of queen size.
Location, breakfast, staff Ventilation, air condition, noise
we had a nice stay and a good bed after a long and tiring trip no
Overall atmosphere and decore of the building. (What wasnt underconstruction) Was not advised that half of the hotel was under contsruction at the time. Upon first entering the room there was a staff matanience man fixing the shower.
Room, staff, location.
Excellent service, comfortable beds, big and clean rooms, great location. Would definitely recommend it. Not applicable
Service at hotel, employees are very helpful.
Excellent staff, fantastic location, clean, great design, quiet, relaxing and overall really great. Breakfast gets boring but the area is filled with fantastic places - the hotel offers a quick coffee/tea fix in the morning. Look for indulgence outside.
Great botique hotel. only one computer with internet access
The close proximity to local amenities and metro system
People were very pleasant and helpful. Room was big and confortable The bathroom! Quite below standard
minimalism designed clean and spacious room, located in a great neighborhood with restaurants nearby. also very close to the center of the Palermo's night life center. The AC was a bit small for the room, so takes some time to heat up the room in a cold July day.
location no public areas... other than the breakfast lounch
Large rooms, comfortable bed, air conditioning There is no computer / internet access apart from Wifi. The night porter was not around when we returned to the hotel, a couple couldn't out of the hotel, and had to go and look for him. Breakfast service was rubbish - hot option was cold by the time we arrived, and serving staff disinterested, and reception staff had poor knowledge of service (internet access) in the area when asked. Bathroom did not have a good finish - design "touches" are one thing, but expected a better standard - the floor looked as if it hadn't finished being laid - ie no tiles.
common areas were beautiful the room looked nothing like the picture.
The location, the room, and especially the staff were outstanding! The staff were so helpful and accomodating, truly amazing service. I'm never going to stay in another chain-hotel again; in Buenos Aires boutiques are the way to go!!! Some construction on the hotel was not yet complete (as it is a brand new hotel that just opened a week ago) and this caused some unwanted noise at times. However, the staff did an amazing job of keeping this disturbance to a minimum.
fantaqstic staff, great design and great ambience nothing
Big bed, lovely bath, general comfort on an epic scale breakfast was poor and items ran out before the end of breakfast time. i.e. I was not able to get any bread at 10:15 (breakfast was 8:00 - 11:00)
Service was good The confort in the room was very poor
i loved the helpfulness of the staff, the comfort of the hotel, and the location was amazing. The breakfast was not to 5 star standard and the bathroom was a little more on the 3 star side (eg the door wouldnt close, the tiling looked aweful).
Great location, good size room, very comfortable bed very friendly staff. A little pricey for what you get. Bathroom could do with a bit of touching up and breakfast could also be improved a bit.
Great common areas to hang out; very helpful staff; fantastic location in Palermo.
Nice lounge, very nice dining/breakfast space. Cozy atmosphere and nice decoration. The room was too small for the price, and parts of it were scabby.
Comfortable bed, quite safe area, latin quarter atmosphere with boutiques and good restarants and bars within walking distance Tv noise audible from adjoining room
location and facilities are very good for the price no
First room we got had very bad cigarete smell but stuff replaced our room right away Bathroom water did not clear out of bath tub good was annouing Breakfast finish to earley also while we were eating they started to close it made us feel uncomfartable this happend twice also breakfast have very poor selection
Looked forward to returning each day. Everything you needed to make your stay comfortable. Great TV channel selection.
Location. Staff was very helpful. As the hotel was full, breakfast service was not good. Too many people and few staff to answer. They were not prepared.
Good location; spacious room. Our room at front of hotel was too noisy.
Convenient location, very comfortable bed, safe neighborhood, lively local scene, good restaurants, bars, boutiques and shops within walking distance. An extra chair is needed in the room. Two people need at least two chairs. The safe is on the floor of the cupboard, therefore difficult to get to . I should be at least at table height. Two pictures were missing from the wall, presumably stolen by previous guests. I feel that the hotel is not receiving the full attention of the owner or a manager, if indeed there is one.
The staff were outstanding and arranged two wonderful excursions for us including a trip to see Boca Juniors. The hotel was attractive, comfortable and in a great location in Palermo - close to lots of great eateries. Beds were really good and we slept well. The rooms are a little dark and it was a shame that the roof terrace was not lit up at night (like in the pictures) so we didn't have a drink there after all.
I liked the staff. I felt as though I were home... Very comfortable and pleasant sorroundings too. Patios and lobby, as well as outdoor jacuzzi area.
Folks running the hotel are very cooperative Water flow is too slow to use tub. Showere suffers also. Breakfast is limited and typical european.
We loved the decor, which reflected Argentine style; every room was unique. The staff was friendly and helpful. All in all, the gracious and comfortable rooms, well-appointed breakfast and beautiful setting made for a relaxing and highly enjoyable stay. We were sorry to leave! No.
Decor was lovely, great location, friendly, helpful staff Slightly expensive
design of old buenos aires mansion musty smell everywhere in room. totally unacceptable.
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel was lovely. My room and bed were very comfortable. The location was fantastic with lots of great restaurants within walking distance.
very attentive staff, breakfast in room at no extra charge
Good location, lots of room, great bed Main floor needed a good wash and some hooks etc. needed to be fixed, T.V was not working
Very friendly, comfortable rooms, all we wanted. No
Room is clean and large, heating is great. Our room, ground floor (with spa), was extremely noisy throughout the night. The staff, whislt certainly not rude, were not as accommodating or helpful as other hotels experienced in Buenos Aries
the security was good, the rooms were clean and modern, and the beds were very comfortable. the services and facilities were not 4 star standards. for example the cable television wasn't working for the entire stay, the breakfast was very limited (we had better breakfasts at backpacker hostels in bolivia), there was no complimentary coffee, tea and sugar despite a sign saying there was, there were no mini shampoo and conditioners, and the bathroom design is modern but impractical eg there was only 1 hook to hang a towel and no bench space.
Got a heavily discounted winter room. Good value. The room was a good size, well appointed and close to Palermo Hollywood restaurants (a few blocks further but fine...). Small kitchenette means you could buy from a shop or cool drinks in fridge. Would be ideal for summer, with the pool and terraces. Showers don't seem to have alternator working properly; so, either boiling or cold. Took 5 minutes to get it right each time. I complained about heating; to their credit, the team then bumped-up the temperature of the under-floor heating which was toasty.
Nothing, service it was really bad........
We loved the 'sleeping loft' & massive bed, staff were very helpful, great place to relax, lots of space, contemporary design shower was either cold or scorching
All that we wrote already. Great staff, very solicit. Your questions should have and english option since I don't necessarily speak spanish. breakfast could offer more items.
Large, clean and comfortable room, hotel in modern style. Good price I could not go walking to Palermo Soho, where the shops are. The rooms that face the street are a bit noisy some nights. Poor breakfast.
Very modern, stylish room, the great location in the heart of the Palermo district, with it's shops and resteraunts. The staff is super. Couldn't have been nicer !
The design of the hotel and rooms had immediate impact on arrival. It is stunningly designed. Breakfast is gorgeous with a self-service buffet to suit all tastes and whims. Machine-made coffee was available from the waitress. A very small point- no self service hot beverages available at breakfast. Excellent coffee was freely available from the waitress but guests can't help themselves to hot drinks or a top-up.
The staff were really welcoming, friendly and helpful and our room was lovely
Very friendly and helpful staff. Great hotel.
Staff, very helpful and friendly No
Great staff, extremely pleasant, and helpful. When I first arrived, they helped me with the taxi driver who was trying to rip me off. The staff gave great tips for restaurants, shopping and were really nice. The room was great. Jacuzzi in room was a nice touch.
tone of the hotel; great buffet
Friendly and hepfull staff Not at all..
the reception and breakfast staff were very very nice and the location is great. the housekeeping needs improvement, specially for the price. The savery options at breakfast were kind of poor and the bar closes far too early
Lovely hotel - Rooms excellent and public areas attractive. Walking distance to excellent restaurants and boutiques and staff brilliant. Nothing - it was wonderful
A great hotel in the best location of BA, just a couple min walk from all the best restaurants, bars, and disgners shops. Really great personnel at the reception desk. Beautiful place to relax after a day BA.
Like the hotel a lot, great design taste. Very quiet. Great location, however I do think the price was somehat expensive all things considered
Heated bathroom floors, comfortable bed and room Didn't have the channel for the Euro 2016 football tournament
The location of the hotel was perfect, amidst several blocks of cool stores, art galleries, restaurants and cafes. The hotel staff was really welcoming and efficent. The breakfast was complete with fresh fruit, coffee, milk, eggs, cheese, ham and an assortment of breads, jams and dulce de leche. We stayed in the Soho suite, a very spacious room, with a lovely balcony. The room also had a jacuzzi and was beaultifully decorated in a boho chic theme. We definetely recommend the hotel! All being said, we'd like to notice that although the hotel is clean, some details in the decoration and facilities do need improvement in their maintenance such as the wallpaper in our room (with edges coming off the walls) and floor of the bathroom (stains which might look like mildew or water leaks). However, if you're not a picky guest/traveler you won't even notice (we did because my sister is a picky traveler and kept pointing out all the details - but also she and her husband stayed at The blue Soho hotel and all in all granted it as a satisfying experience).
A very charming boutique hotel in a perfect location. The staff were lovely and helpful. I would have loved to have stayed longer. The breakfast selection was complete with everything. A very enjoyable stay and I loved the jacuzzi. The rooms are not huge but probably par for the course in this area, but more than enough.
Location right in the centre of Palermo. Great for restaurants, bars, shopping. We stayed in a standard room. Small. No windows. Shower and bath inside room leading to a damp smell. Tedy design. Great if you're in your twenties. Less good if you're looking for comfort, space and light.
Very good location in trendy Palermo Soho. Hotel interior design is also trendy. Most staff very helpful. Breakfast time flexible from early morning to afternoon. Rooms can be rather noisy, not so much from outside but from inside of the hotel. Despite young age of hotel, some facilities do not function anymore. Some staff not so friedly.
Excellent, attentative staff, boutique style, location, location, location Walls were thin, and transom windows made for some noise in adjoining rooms and hallway
The staff is really amazing. All the people there are very nice. They treated us the best way I have ever been treated in a hotel. Really a VIP service. Other two things that called up to my attention were the trendy location (in Palermo, next to the actual coolest places in Buenos Aires) and how comfortable the room is. This is a good example of what is called a boutique hotel.
Great location, very well placed and located, good breakfast
The biulding and design were cool Quite a few minor problems with the room - toilet not flushing, broken draw, no safe for the first night
We liked everything. Beautifully Decorated, The staff very helpful and friendly. The front rooms are very nice but noisy because of the street.
Very confortable hotel. N/A
The hotel staff at the front desk were very helpful and nice. The breakfast had the same food all the 7 days. There should be more options which should vary daily. Not the same food everyday.
The room size, shower was excellent and helpful staff The breakfast could be better
Our room was very spacious with a very comfortable bed and great shower. The design is quite trendy and the downstairs area (Internet, breakfast room, courtyard) was very nice. Good breakfast too. This was more expensive than our usual hotel choices but we felt we got what we paid for here. The bar looked nice but it was never open - they could have created a bit more atmosphere by opening the bar for a pre-dinner drink. That was our only minor complaint.
Super friendly helpful staff, very clean and pleasant room & hotel, excellent location! I was completely happy with the place and the stay.
The staffs were friendly, extremely helpful, and knowledgeable in terms of where to go, and what to do.
great english speaking staff.. only down side, if you want to have a late morning in, forget about it.. the cleaning staff will make sure it wont happen with loud music and banging noises from next door...
Nice clean rooms and good basic facilities. Laundry rates were absurdly expensive and I thought the staff should have pointed this out when when it was collected.
Very comfortable, good location, quiet -- new hotel with nice rooms breakfast is a joke -- airplane food served in room that is worse than airplane food...
Location, decoration, ambient, mood are excellent! Great and friendly staff!
Very nice hotel, good location and comfortable. Breakfast very good. Staff always available and helpful. Two front rooms are sound sealed, but outside parties till 4 AM are very loud. Ask for rooms in back.
Unfortunatley we only stayed one night as it was just a stop over. We wish we had more time as the hotel was wonderful. The room was very clean and we loved how the hotel had been decorated. The location is perfect, with lots of funky bars and restaraunts at your doorstep. The staff was very freindly. If we ever come back to Beunos Aires we will be booking here. Wonderful!!
The architect who designed the interior deserves an accolade for excellence. The staff was courteous and professional. The neighborhood was really trendy. The local restaurants had excellent food and service.
My daughter and I came to Buenos Aires and Argentina for the first time. Our initial stay was at 248 Finisterra, and we loved our first impression of the city and it's hospitality. The staff at 248 our wonderfully helpful. We will, and already have, recommended it for others. Please give our thank you again to the staff there. We loved our stay!!
Excellent location. Very clean. Nice outdoor spaces. Small but well appointed rooms. small rooms.
The staff were quite helpful in making inquiries about possible trips and modes of transportation. Superb breakfast (included) and tea time was a bonus treat. The facility was immaculate and well maintained.
The service - fantastic staff, caring and considerate. Nice feel. The rooms are very small. Not enough room for a second suitcase in the room.
Very nice hotel, small overall and rooms a bit small but very comfortable beds, a value as well. Close to many good restaurants and shopping as well as the main sites of the city. room could be a bit larger.
Great location among the restaurants and bars of Palermo Left my glasses in the hotel room. An email to the hotel was not responded to.
The hotel is new and feels like it in the best ways. Crisp new sheets. Fluffy towels. Modern and colorful decker. And above all an extremely gracious staff who made it feel like home. Very friendly and kniwledgabel. I had initially only intended to sty for a week. I stayed for almost three. And was sorry to leave even then.
- great location - breakfast was very poor (they served only cheese and jam and bread and fruit salad). - the bedroom was ok but there was no window to the outside so it was extremely stuffy. - it was also very noisy, we could hear the first person arrive to start the day.
Place is amazing. Staff is really attentious. It is really beautiful. Bathroom is a little small, but you can live with. Very charming. Bathroom is a bit small.
Lovely rooms with beautiful furnishings. Common areas were also beautifully furnished and very comfortable. Good breakfasts with the best fruit salad! The only negative thing about this hotel was the noise - constant door slamming and loud stomping throughout the night. Or perhaps is was poltergeists...it is an old convent after all.
Staff is outstanding. Always helpful and ready to assist. The hotel is also a beautifully appointed and unusual building. Noise travels easily but as the guests were quiet it was no problem
We arrived early on a bus from Chile (7am) and the host upgraded our room as the one we had booked wasn´t available until 3pm, we were extremely impressed by this level of service.
Excellent, friendly, helpful staff. Very clean. Great breakfast. good location. Would stay there again and recommend.
Hotel interiors are well designed and charmy but the old, historical building carries a number of problems: rooms insulation, moist, also careful which room you book as the cheapest ones have the bathroom outside of the room.
The staff was definitely the best part. No matter who was on duty at the front desk, they were helpful, friendly and polite. Everyone was able to assist us with directions, recommendations, reservations - and it felt like asking an old friend. I have never wanted to return to a hotel to visit the staff before, but as I left that was how I felt about 1555 Malabia House Hotel! In addition to the staff, we enjoyed our room: it was large and comfortable. Wi-fi coverage throughout the hotel. Yummy breakfast croissants and fruit salad, not to mention the omnipresent dulce de leche candies. It's an old building and noise carries. Bring some earplugs and you'll be all set!
Beside the wonderfull simplicity inherited from the Convent, the location is great. Meeting lots of interesting people over breakfast... the little happyhour at 19:00...everything is made so you can feel taken care of. But i have to say that the best thing in Malabia is the staff. They are just great and wonderfull people to meet...they will tell you where to go, what to do, where to eat, what to order...e-ve-ry-thi-ng. You will miss Buenos Aires a lot after you leave. Thanks guys. Hope to be back in Malabia soon. Not really.
While the hotel was comfortable, elegant and well-situated within the city, my favorite part was the customer service. The front-desk staff and breakfast room staff were so accommodating and warm, I felt right at home.
The size of the rooms, too small. Regarding the bathrooms they are extremely small without a bathtub and with the smallest shower that I have ever seen.
The owners were extremely friendly and helpful, the staff as well. Very relaxing rooftop and beautiful rooms. Great location
The location was a great. Just in the border of Palermo Soho and surrounded by many restaurants. The staff was very kind and attentive. The breakfast was ok, probably the best one (except the juice) I had in hotels in Argentina( they just don't have nice breakfest). Be aware with the 1st floor rooms. The sound coming from the street could disturb your sleep if you are sensitive to it. I had to change to a higher floor room, but I haven't had any trouble with this.
We liked the bed, it was very comfortable. We liked the rooftop. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We liked its proximity to many lively bars and restaurants. The main problem wasn't with the hotel. We found many of the sidewalks in the surrounding streets were broken up and extremely dirty, which made walking around the area sometimes unpleasant.
The BeHollywood is located central to the up-to-date quarter Palermo. 1 Block away Av. FitzRoy with all kind of restaurants, bars, etc. I stayed only 1 night and the overall impression was good. Complaints: breakfast very low standard, cold coffee, bad service. aircon in the room too loud.
Value for money was excellent. New Hotel, well appointed staff friendly and helpful. Staff and still coming to terms with customer service in comparion to competing hotels nearby but not far behind.
This was an excellent place to stay in Palermo Hollywood.
Cool rooftop terrace (pool is to dip your feet in, though), and nice beds
The location is just perfect. You can spend a whole week walking no more than 10 blocks from the hotel.
Location and staff the curtains in the room couldn´t block the sun in the morning
I loved this hotel, it was intimate, service was personalized, breakfast was served with made to order omlettes, pastry, cold cuts, fruit, yogurt. Two free computers are provided for customer use . There is Be Frika restaurant on sight with room service. They even provide robes, along with toiletries, comfortable beds, very nice linens and towels. They thought of everything and are in the process of finishing 8 studio apartments across the street that will accommodate up to 4 people by the end of the year. We cannot wait to go back as we loved the city and especially the Palermo Hollywood neighborhood. There is a full service laundry around the corner, many fine restaurants and shops in this quiet, noncongested neighborhood. This hotel provides everything a traveler could possibly need. Their hairdryer is better than any I have ever used in a hotel, but if I were to see any fault at all, I would say the bathrooms in the standard (more luxury than standard) rooms were a little small, but only because they had large showers. I think they made the right decision in the use of the space. A comfortable shower space with plenty of hot water and lots of it can't be a bad thing.
friendly staff on our arrival to greet our stay.clean and modern room with all comfort and an extra touch for details.excellent and fresh breakfast...definely a charming hotel in the palermo barrio.thumb up
The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and well appointed.
excellent hotel, clean, very warm friendly professionals no negatives
the staff is very helpful.location great. the room is small
Great location, friendy and helpful staff who spoke english, very clean and stylish. The music in the hallway was nice, but loud at night when trying to sleep. Would help to have carpet in the hallway to absorb some sound. No complaints otherwise.
I loved our room - it was so nicely decorated, small but very beautiful, with a private little patio area. All the staff was very friendly and always willing to help make your stay enjoyable. The hotel was adorable, very french, I loved everything about the decor. The pool and rooms were small, but everything was very comfortable and we enjoyed the hot tub.
Excellent customer service. The hotel was nicely decorated and it feel very inviting. Love the breakfast buffet and the a la carte eggs. The front desk personnel offer a personalized concierge service. We loved all of the suggestions for sightseeing and restaurants.
The staff were the most friendliest we have come across. Their English was amazing for a South American property. The place was clean, the design fantastic. Couldn't fault it. Maybe the size of the rooms but everything else made up for that.
This hotel was fantastic, and the only thing better about it is the excellent staff. We would definitely stay there again on a return trip to B.A.
Friendly staff who went above and beyond your requests, great location, clean and modern rooms...a true home away from home in the center of BA!
It was a very nice room with excellent showers, good breakfast as well. The Spa wasn't huge, but very neat and well functioning. The swimming pool wasn't really clean; but we weren't planning to swim; this time of year (September) it isn't common to go swimming apparently in Argentina.
The appartment exceeded our expectations. It was clean, modern and very reasonably priced - we liked our 2 night stay at the beginning of our trip so enjoyable we returned for 2 nights at the end of the trip as a treat. Staff spoke excellent English and were most helpful with our queries. No
nice little apartment, good location near some pubs and resturants. Can cook your own meals if you want so thats a plus for anyone staying here a long time
My girlfriend and I thought the room was excellent - clean with modern appliances, and in a good part of town for bars, restaurants, and nightclubs. Javier and his staff really looked after us, and were very helpful.
new (although not completely finished), spacious room service very limited, the swimming pool area not very attractive to sit and relax
The spacious accomodations the view
There is no recption desk at the hotel. The office (on the 10th floor) was not open in the morning when we had to leave for the airport. The doorman could not reach anyone with his cell phone. There was no one at the hotel to help us or to take payment. Breakfast was advertised for an additional charge of $5.00 but it didn't appear that this was even available.
the staff, the service, the restaurant, the bathrobes and towels could upgrade the quality of the beds
very friendly service, great bar and excellent restaurant
I believe that the staff were very helpful and cooperative. The hotel was also conveniently located to transport, shops and restaurants. I understand that hotel services were based on the European model but Australians expect, as they find in the USA and Canada, that a coffee-maker/electric jug will be provided. The non-provision of a small refrigerator is equally infuriating!
The staff was helpful at times and in certain cituations. They assisted with reservations for a day trip and with restaurant recommendations. Also, the breakfast (which was included) was simple but very good. They try to nickel-and-dime the guest the whole trip. The exchange rate at the front desk is 3.75 pesos per dollar but in the bar it is only 3.5:1. Guess where the front desk gets the pesos...THE Bar! The cost to mail a postcard to the us is 5.60 pesos but the front desk sells the postage for 10 pesos (almost 100% markup). The website states a 15% discount to pay in cash but they refused at check-out. A place that charges above average rates should offer better services instead of trying to make more money off the guests after they are stuck there. We spent the other half of our trip in another similar hotel in ba and they did all of the above for free (and at a lower nightly rate).
The staff did everything possible to make the stay safe, fun, friendly.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Bobo. From the helpful staff to luxurious rooms to the delicious food offered in the restaurant, I really couldn't have asked for more.
All the staff went out of their way to help us with anything we required - in the hotel and making bookings for us outside.
Firstly, the young friendly and energetic manager and the personnel. They deserve a special compliment. They just don't say, but really " walk the extra mile ". They have arranged about everything for us. And believe it or not, with no hidden/extra costs! Secondly, the new boutique hotel is excellently/newly furnished and also well managed. The location is save to walk at night, among well police-patrolled streets. There is lots of different shops and restaurants. Well, visiting Buenos Aires ?, look no further. Bobo is your place !
Staff did an excellent job orienting us and arranging transport and restaurants during our first ever visit to Buenos Aires. They were wonderful.
This hotel is a gem. It's intimate, warm, personal, comfortable, convenient, secure for a foreigner. A very tastefully appointed boutique hotel with unique connection to its restaurant, or vice versa rather.
Room size, Location, atmosphere. N/A
The service was wonderful. They arranged for ground transportation and in-room massage. They were very accommodating. They need more trash cans in the rooms
nice new hotel, big loft, very nice funiture. friendly staff! hotelstaff has to be trained! breakfast could have more different items; slow service when more than 5 guests have breakfast on the same time;
