Good location, comfortable and clean.
The new tower is quiet and modern. The lobby of he old tower is bigger and more luxurious but my understanding is the rooms are older although I never saw them. They seemed to have certain websites blocked since Internet was working fine but some sites would not work in the hotel. Very strange.
The cost of the rate and the benefits are good. The breakfast is very good. The localization is very good too, next to the government house and 03 blocks from Florida. The amenities are poor, for example, no shower cap, even after my request.
Original art throughout the hotel, beautiful rooms, great showers, and a full breakfast buffet made our stay pleasant. Professional staff helped us with reservations for dinner and a tango show, and were great to deal with. A small pool on the top of the building was too crowded to use.
It is very clean, comfortable, and the location is great. The only staff that speaks English is the front desk, so if you want room service, laundry, or anything fixed by maintenance, you have to call the front desk and hope they aren't busy.
Excellent staff, Good Internet Faciliites and an excellent quality breakfast Nothing at all. Will choose everytime i am back in Buenos Aires
excellent staff- very helpful with our trip travelling on from Beunos Aires
near all action in the city
My fiance really enjoyed the continental breakfast. The room was a bit small but the location is just half a block from countless historical landmarks and the subte.
They charged more than Booking.com had confirmed to me and I spent 45 min discussing. In the end they agree with me.
The hotel decoration and main halls are excellent.I've stayed in the Intercontinental club floors (17th floor) and rooms are excellent.
Staff at the reception was very professional, friendly en helpful. Rooms are attractive and spacious. Location is great. Excellent value for money.
the staff were great(welcoming, discreet, efficient) everyone was helpful (tolerant ) of my spanglish and assisted where ever possible no
Excellent hotel, really liked the loft, spacious and luxurious feel to it. Breakfast is great, up till 12 o'clock, great. noiselevel in the hotel is quite high. not something to really worry about, but the streetnoise and airco noise is getting some used to.
The staff were very helpful with booking shows, taxis and giving advise about transport and sights to visit. The hotel is located close to buses and the subway. The room was comfortable and clean.
The staff were all very friendly and spoke English. A kettle and coffee in the room would have been nice.
large rooms, helpful staff, close to San Telmo Sunday market
Loved the big rooms. Very quiet even though the street gets busy outside. The staff is not the friendliest, but they get the job done. Great price.
This is the most amazing hotel I have ever stayed in. The décor, the friendly staff, the location. It's a pure experience. Proposed to my lovely girlfriend on the roof. Will definitely be back
Staff were incredibly helpful, professional, polished and friendly. Breakfast was yummy with plenty of food.
Well positioned near downtown areas
The size of the room
Good location, Nice rooms Breakfast is included but could be better.
The room was fantastic! We ended up with an incredibly spacious loft with a modern and tasteful design throughout. The staff were very helpful and attentive and the location is perfect. It doesn't look like much from the outside but it is an absolute gem inside and an incredible value. The continental breakfast leaves a bit to be desired. If the eggs were any more runny they'd be soup. But it's free and the toast, cheese, and ham can at least get your day started.
This is one of the largest hotel rooms--or room in general, for that matter--that I've ever slept in. It is an interesting space with a speakeasy vibe that would have been quite cool if there were not an ant infestation. I also have praise for the staff, who did their best to mitigate the ant problem after we complained, but we should never have been put into a room with so many ants in the first place. The room was crawling with ants, all the way from the door, down the long hall to the bed, and around the bed. We only stayed one night, but I probably killed about 40 in the few hours between when we checked in and when we went to bed. The ants were mostly on the ground, but their proximity to the bed unnerved my wife, who had trouble sleeping before a long trip home from Argentina to the U.S. When we complained, the staff brought us insecticide, which helped with the ants but still left my wife anxious (one might say, "antsy") all night. We should never have been put into the room in the first place, and the hotel should have offered a full refund for the night's stay.
It cannot be beat for the price, especially the price I got through Kayak. Love the staff, Luis at desk could not be more helpful. Location is amazing if you like an arty part of town, but also near main historical attractions. I love it there and will go back. Wooden floor in room was slightly grungy, but not really horrible. Everything else was very clean. They ask for suggestions. The lobby is spacious and beautiful
Decent facility, good location and value when booking online. Nothing extraordinary. The host quoted us for a tango show at one price and we said yes, please reserve us tickets. They called back ten minutes later to say the seats had been reserved and the cost was now 4 times the original- each. When we said we didn't want to go anymore because of the price, the host seemed angry and upset. Every time after that the host was frosty.
The rooms are very large. The hotel is not at all as is seems on the website. We stayed there for 8 days and the rooms was NEVER cleaned! The made would make the bed and empty the trash. NEVER cleaned the floors or bathroom or change the bed. Not enough towels or toilet paper.
It has really nice decor with a lovely eating area and great access to internet, The concierge on the front desk of the night of our arrival was very rude in that he took so long to acknowledge our presence even though he knew we were there in front of him.
Very helpful stall, clean facilities, free internet, good breakfast
No disadvantages for this hotel. The staff is polite and friendly. Clean and comfortable hotel in the center of Buenos Aires.
courteous, helpful staff.conveniently located.good facilities.choice and quality of restaurant and breakfast dining were very good we were hapy with our stay
The staff was very nice and helpful. They managed to get us into the RojoTango show the same day we
friendly and helpful staff, free internet, great location close to metro and walking distance to city attractions
Central location, just blocks from the Congressional Palace and the Plaza de Mayo. Hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating - helping carry bags, making reservations, allowing a late check-out, etc. Room (a suite) was an excellent value, offered lots of room, and a great view over the Avenida 9 de Julio. The breakfast buffet could be better and more varied, but most hotels in this price range offer similar breakfast experiences.
This is a lovely hotel with a very nice decor and beautiful dining area. Access to the internet is great and nicely located. There is staff to help you with luggage and overall the standard is professional. We stayed a Christmastime and it was tastefully decorated.
Staff was great, helpful, and nice. Very comfert bed, very nice restroom. Had a pharmacy near by, a bank and grocery store. There was no iron and board to iron my cloths and no coffee in your room to make some quick coffee. Had some mold on the hallways and ceiling.
The hotel is nice and the staff is helpful, the breakfast was excellent! And the room is very clean. The only bad thing is that the room was very small (inclusive the executive room). I can't imagine the normal room. And another bad thing is that you can listen everything from the other room, even the phone and conversations. The noise insulation between rooms is very poor.
This wine-themed, contemporary-style hotel is an excellent value. Rooms are spacious, clean, nicely designed, and comfortable. WiFi routers had to be reset daily, but otherwise the signal was strong and reliable and freely accessible. The room has its own wine bar, with about two dozen different bottles to choose from, which looked well-selected and reasonably priced. The continental breakfast was very fine. The couple running this place was always helpful and friendly. The immediate downtown neighborhood, although nothing special, is a close walk to the subway, restaurants, the Plaza de Mayo, and Argentina's Congress building. The quality of this hotel was excellent at the low price I paid, even compared to other hotels in Buenos Aires in the same price range. I extended my stay, and I would certainly stay there again. Nothing important.
Lovely hotel. Really enjoyed the decor and the feel of the hotel. We are actually coming back, we enjoyed it so much. Need to think through the organisation of self service at breakfast. You need more than 1 service point or at least a different one for coffee refills etc.I enjoy hotels which have a hint of grandeur and history. Some desk staff are great and welcoming. Others might like to improve on their attitude to guests.
We had an unexpected room upgrade (which was great). Staff were very polite and friendly (when avaialbe). The location of the hotel is in a safe and good area for tourists. Room was well cleaned each day. Breakfeast was a chaos (no plates/cups at times, not much staff). Food would not be re-supplied when eneded. Hotel is oldish (but Clasical, which goes with the B.A experience). Rates are ok (not the best).
Spa!, AM staff excellent, free wifi, many excellent dining choices within walking distance. One nightstaff seemed put off by helping guests
It was clean, good Internet, good breakfast. I spoke in Spanish as much as possible, but my Spanish is weak. I felt some disdain for having to speak English with me by some employees. The bell man took advantage of my poor Spanish to call for some kind of taxi when there were many he could have stopped on the street - I was in a hurry to get to the airport. I believe I received a room upgrade. So some staff were good and others were not.
good localization; nice bathroom unconfortable bed and pillows; noise room (tv, ar conditioning from other rooms, hotel machines); breakfast with very few options;
Central location, good spa facilities. Very dated rooms now in desperate need of modernisation.
I didn`t like the hotel. The service is poor, the room is more then poor
worth the value paid.
Good breakfast, good staff, willing to answer questions about directions and such, always helpful to help getting taxis. Room in itself looked better on the website than on real life. Hotel is a bit old and it shows a little in the accommodation, specially in the bathroom. They are working on it though, entrance and hallways look very sharp.
The Spa The hotel room was completely different than it was on the pictures, it was old and dated and i wouldnt have bookt it if i would have know howthe rooms acctually looked like.
The spa was OK though pitty that there is now swimming pool. It is certainly not a 4* hotel at least not the room I was in. However, in view of the price (90 $) i was not expecting a lot more.
The staff very help full The room are very small
The hotel was centrally located and nice breakfast. The phone didn't work the whole time and they tried to repair it but it never worked. We were not compensated for the trouble!!! they recommened a place to see tango. When we got to the restaurant we felt like they were charging us a high price because we were tourist and they were about to close for the night. We didn't think that was very professional for the hotel to send us somewhere like that and not tell us they were about to close..
The hotel is superbly located just steps from Plaza de Mayo and close to where the underground train lines converge. Hotel staff was very helpful and accommodating. If you plan to have a place to leave your bags while visiting the city this would be the place for you but DON'T expect to get what you see online. Upon arriving to the lobby you feel the "boutique hotel" style, until you enter your room. The pictures you see online don't represent what you get. The room was VERY small, sound isolation from other rooms was non-existent, and everything seemed dated. Even the TV on the online pictures showed a flat screen TV although my room had a CRT. It's 2014, people these things belong in museums, not in hotel rooms. Not even iron and board were available at the room. Once again, the bathroom was completely different from what I expected: old fixtures, stained bathtub, old toilet that gave me a hard time to flush, etc. My room looked liked the hostel rooms (Not the very cheap ones, of course) you would see in big European cities. Definitely not what I expected from a 4 star or even a 3 star hotel as it is advertised.
The noise of neighbor
Good location in Buenos Aires, near downtown touristic places. Nice front desk people, near Subte (subway), and good breakfast included in hotel rate. Carpets in tha hall needed vacuum cleaner. Bathroom needed more detailed cleaning. Furniture in rooms need to be renewed (closets i.e.),, TV Set was obsolete and with bad signal.
Very good location and staff Internet in the rooms very slow and sometimes not working
It was cheap and acceptable for the price. Nothing to brag about. It is a place to stay and sleep. Nothing more. Rooms were very small and noise from other rooms very noticeable. Would recommend but with these caveats.
The hotel location is good The breakfast is the same every day and the restaurant tables are not clean .
Great room, superb location Hotel was great!
its in great location, stuff are nice. no
Very good breakfast and excellent service!!
