spacesy room, very clean, excellent bathroom, good service, garage in the basement poor lobby and receptin desk, allways a lot of people waitig for keys or pay a bill
Friendly, helpful staff, which made any problems disappear very quickly. Nice room and very comfortable beds. Room service was terribly expensive. Rooms with a view on a street are very noisy; ask for one overlooking a garden.
The surroundings of the hotel
the staff was friendly and helpfull
Nice room and polite staff. Services and higiene were at a good level. Wireless Internet access is a clear plus for this hotel. The water outflow from the bathtube was almost blocked. No repair action took place even after announcing this at the hotel desk.
the room and the parking. It was clean
The internet connection was perfect. the personell is quite pollite and the room was clean Rooms are very small. I stay there for 2 days and a half. they charged me the half with 46 euros which is not actually the half of the price. neither the staying time was half a day. It was just an extention for 8 hours. The breacfast could be slightly better for 15 euros/day
close to public transportation, located in nice neighbourhood It was very noisy. I could not rest or sleep well. Slamming of doors, a lot of transit of guest in front of my room door, very noisy passage ways. No room service.
I would like to express my satisfaction.thank you
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
Perfectly locate at short distance to the main shopping street, monuments and with all public trasport facilities. Staff really helpfull and professional. Being in a street full of restaurants, you could have the risk to be woke up erlie at the morning, due to the rubbish lorry and ather services, if you have room towards Raday utca side.
excellent! No at all
The staff! Very kind and ready to help. Very good break fast for very little capital. Yes. Although the room was clean, we had some problems with the towels.
next to metro, next to market, next to vaci street, next to the center (about 5 min walk or 10) the staff was a bit rude
Convenient location, some pleasant staff. The room was tiny, Spartan, and overpriced. But I guess that's Budapest.
no rubish bins in the room
Just the City The receptions staff didn´t keep the agreement with me about the payment.
Good price for what it presents, well located and good for the Ibis standards. Nothing against it.
The location was good, and they where really close to restaurants No exchange money service, the night food was frozen.
its central location, the breakfast was good value no tea/coffee making facilities and no hairdryer.
convenient location and friendly staff Everything else! The hotel was really run down. We caught cockroaches in our room. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and noisy. Our shower was broken. Our towels were not changed.
The hotel is located in a nicely refurbished charming older building. The rooms were spacious and the included breakfast was very nice. The location is down the street from the main historic Food Hall and across the bridge from the Gellert baths -- very central.
Great location, near train station and covered market, close to river, good price
very central location
The reception staff were excellent and extremely helpful. The welcoming of Petra our first day made all the difference. Sets a nice mood for the guests. Excellent buffet breakfast. The room was a little smaller than expected......bathroom was very good size and all the necessities
Rather centrally placed. Small place, but with large room. Vert friendly and accomodating staff. Heating not easy to control. I believe it will be impossible to heat the room properly when it gets really cold.
friendly, efficient staff; large rooms; excellent location, close to large market and public transportation
Very friendly and helpfull staff, the room was great and clean, excellent location and the breakfast was good.
the location, the style of the building and the friendlynes nothing
One-year-old hotel that's trying really hard. Great value for money. It seems a bit out-of-the-way on the map but it's a three minute walk to the closest Metro Station and from there 3 to 5 stops to do all that you need to see in central Budapest. The rooms are quite spacious for a budget hotel but the bed configuration is a bit unusual for a large single beds head to toe. Rooms have a microwave fridge and safe with Apple closet space and even a bookshelf. I'm not mistaken the rooms away from the road all have a balcony. Wi-Fi is fast and TV channel selection has 3 to 4 new stations in English, at least one station in French, German, Italian, along with regular stations in Hungarian. I think they're still learning how to do breakfast and some things tend to run out if you don't get there early but it wouldn't stop me staying there again. They are expanding hotel and you do you hear some construction in the morning and this is likely to continue for at least another six months from June 2017, I would guess. We're not a lot of other places to eat in the area but again you're only two or three minutes away from the metro stop by Budapest central line.
Front desk staff was not very interested in helping with normal conciege services, e.g. questions, etc.
Hotel is very comfortable and has a good price-performance ratio. For the same price as at the Gellert you get a room that is incomparably more comfortable, with a view of the Danube. Hotel has a good location if your business takes you to the south part of the city centre. For tourists, the hotel is perhaps too far (20-30 minutes walk) from the main tourist sights, although trams going in all directions stop in front of the hotel and will take you there in 10 minutes. On checking out, the receptionist made errors in the hotel bill and had to be corrected.
To be honest we just slept there. Further out than I expected but the cities excellent transport system got around that.
Kind and helpfull staff, nice room, clean bathroom in a good environment. There was no (working) airconditioning and a little bit noisy.
Very kind staff.
Breakfast was appalling - the fresh fruit was apples and oranges cut up and swimming in some unidentiable juice - the hot food was dreary unappetising and overcooked. Our door to our room was left unlocked by housekeeping staff one day - there was a fault in the locking system that was not fixed while we were there - 8 nights! the room was tiny - the staff while providing information as requested were curt, brusque, and not very friendly at all.
Parking was not cheap but safe. The parking area was quite small but you could always find a few available ones.
very good standard for 3*** shower in bath leaving a very slippery bath surface
The location is just perfect when working at the business center accross from the river. Only 10 minutes walking over the bridge.
Very friendly staff. Extremely good location to visit the city or the nearby universities. Internet is a problem. Only available on the first 3 levels, but at the reception there is a business center to use the net or to print.
Helpful staff (I even got a trip packet with sandwiches and fruit, since I had to leave the hotel early before breakfast), excellent value for the money (check out booking.com often and get a cool price for the superior room which is laaarge), close to the metro (5 min), good services close to the hotel (market, fast food restaurant...), nice walk to the city center (about 20-25 min). 15 min. from the Keleti station by metro. I'd even put here the lack of tv channels which made me go outside and enjoy Budapest even more Nothing
hotel is totaly new one, with new furniture, equipment etc... staff is pleasent but not too much experiannted Hotel is not on such good position as it is explained. It is minimum 35 mintes to the Vaci street.
The Staff is extremely friendly and cordial, and helpful in every way imaginable, from directing you to the nearest metro to suggesting sight-seeing adventures. Many speak English which, in my case, was a big help.
Hotel is just 5 minutes from the stop of Metro - M3(Klinikák), so the centre of Budapest is very near also by public transport. The room was really nice clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed staying there. wifi connection to internet was free, but it was really unreliable, not suitable for some serious work on internet
Almost everything worked good. The hotel is totally new, very clean and very comfortable, with big rooms. The staff is also very polite and helpful and the hotel is near the metro. In overall i would totally recommend it. Can't think of anything we didn't like.
Anything we requested they went and got it for us with a polite smile Couldnt fault a thing, the best hotel I ever stayed in
The rooms are very nice and very clean. Good Internet connection and friendly staff. If you come late, the breakfast is not so diverse.
Large rooms, great location, cleanliness of the rooms, price! nothing, for this money nothing to complain about! (100Euro for 2 nights 2 people)
Quiet neighborhood. Brand new hotel. Modern style, glass-made lift, Air condition, full mini-bar. No carpet on the floor, large bed. I was the only guest on Sunday, but there was full buffet breakfast prepared to me.
clean , comfortable, with polite personel. I believe that the Internet connection needs improvement. I was in my room in the first floor and the connection was falling every 5 minutes and it was slow
The location, the hotel personnel, the food, the room I would've liked one normal towel and one bath towel (not one small, small towel and one bath towel)
Localisation of the hotel, comfortable room, free Internet not enought plugs in room, lack of plugs in bathroom
good service, kind and helpfull hotel staff
very quiet, over expectations breakfast for a 3 stars hotel far from city center (initially thought it was walking distance)
the staff was kind and polite
price, big room space, free hight speed wifi, location heating is not working well
It was central, and god standard The bed was a bit to hard
Lovely hotel, centric and wonderful breakfast
Breakfast was between 7-10AM We arrived at 9:30, sadly there was insufficient food/coffee/orange juice left. The second day, we arrived earlier, and there was a good selection.
Good spacious apartment There were no sheets in the bed.
Helpful staff, good location, Raday Street with lots of nice restaurants is within 10 mins walking distance, tram and metro are nearby too. New apartment, well equipped. Floor, sinks and toilet were rather dirty on our arrival but they cleaned it as soon as we asked them to.
It's an apartment, so you can do everithing by yourself. It had all basic electrical appliances like washing machine and microwave, cutlery, skillets...etc The location: The location it's very difficult to find and it has diferent address in webs (The street is new, and it do not appear in google maps). We tried to call to the phone that appears in the web and it was fake. It you book here, aware yourself to contac them previous to be sure how to get to the apartments.
The rooms were very nice and clean. The kitchen was useful! In the bathroom, there was no draining hole so the water on the floor could not drain. The floor was wet during the whole stay. Maybe a mop should be available so the visitors can dry the floor.
Perfect apartment with a big bathroom.Verry clean with all dotations.Nearly to the centre. The tariff of the room.
Very comfortable, new apartment. Very good relation value/money. Quite close to every monument in Pest and the Danube river. Definitely worth recomendation. The boy at the front desk verry helpfull. The recepction opened only during the day and no food, but still excellent dough even
Very clean apartments, excellent and very helpful receptiontionists. also very quietly situated. Modern and spacious. N/A
The apartment space was outstanding for what you're paying for. For €30 per night (€15 p.p.) you'll get a spacious living room (incl sleeping couch & kitchen with a fridge, microwave & oven), bedroom, hallway, bathroom (incl washing machine), separate toilet & large balcony The apartment is part of a complex in a neighbourhood which is recently constructed. It was a very nice and very quiet part of the city to come back to after a long day and/or night of sightseeing/going out. We we're very satisfied about the 'value for money' ratio. If you prefer to take the metro, 'Klinikak' station is most close: walking distance is 10 minutes. Tram stops are a bit more close, and connect to the center also. Just like in most other apartments, you'll have to do the dishes yourself. Also, the room was not cleaned during our stay (3 nights), and towels & bed linen were not replaced. But I guess that if we asked for it, they would have done that.
New apartment with low cost and acceptable location. Very friendly staff with good English skills. If you want to check in late, send them an email and let them know about it (there is no 24 hours check in). The apartment was very clean and equipped with new furniture with very good design (laundry machine, fully equipped kitchen etc). The internet was working at the room with LAN cable and the staff were kind enough to borrow me a cable. The street that hotel is located is new and I could not find it in google map, however the staff sent me a step-to-step guideline to arrive from airport. The blanket was smelling like a hell, thanks God that we were there at August and we did not use them. There were no bed sheet (We had our own :-)) and there was no air conditioning.
i think that it was the best part of our vocations-i suggest vivaldi apartments to my friends-i will be glad to fiand again this kind of hotel in my future travels!!!
The mirrors present all over in the room and the big free space in the bathroom. Breakfast is ok. The thin walls, I could hear the maids talking in the morning and the windows were not well isolated. But is bearable, is not very noisy though.
good access to airport amable staff
Close to metro and ease of getting to airport.
The brilliant friendly staff, closeness to the Metro Mosquitos, although we could bring repellent next time
i used this hotel just as a budget hotel, last night after travelling around hungary and before taking my flight back home. 30euro is a good price for a budget double room, price is ok according with the hotel facilities and the normal comfort and cleaness provided. not luxurious but nice, just for few days stay, not difficult to find, a nice budget hotel, u pay for a nice room, just for sleep))
The hotel is well located near a tube station and there was night bus passing very near. It is a very suitable place if you want to have an easy access to the University BME around 15 minutes. the only drawback is that there is not internet access in the room. however there is a paying access in the hall
Nice staff, value for money. Location is fifteen to twenty minutes from centre by metro in less popular area.
La amabilidad del personal y lo ajustado del precio lo convierten en una buena opción para presupuestos ajustados...
Well located (near underground), excellent value for money, silent surroundings and a very good Asian restaurant next door ! The breakfast was fairly poor / basic.
the fact that all the noise from other rooms can be heard
Clean, air condition, nice people at the reception, breakfast Total Intransparency in exchange rate when paying the hotel, it was not clear in the information about the hotel that the fitness center does not belong to it
Handy to good restaurants No laundry or internet terminals. No bar or restaurant internal. No lift had to carry bags 3 flights of stairs
Helpful staff, location of the hotel. There is no pub/bar and no restaurant.
Hotel City Swing has a great location, near the Danube. Mini bar in the hotel room. The shower was not working properly.
The rooms are ok and also the brakfest it was very nice! It's a nice position of the hotel near the Donau river.
tram and subway next,a good breakfeast, a nice play to visit Budapest
Location, Noisy room, next to road.
Good central hotel, everything needed nearby Safety deposit box in room was unavailable
Air conditioning not working
It is a small and cute hotel, very close to the city cenrtre. You can easily walk to the centre, but you can also take the subway. Staff was very polite, rooms are clean. Breakfast was excellent. We spent a nice time at hotel Sissi and we recommend this hotel.
It is so clean& calm atmosphere , the breakfast is poor but ok.
Quiet street, 20 minute walk from center, close to the Danube. Parking on street is possible and is free over weekend. bathtub in room was designed for sitting in it, so it was very hard to take a shower while standing. very small tv.
Easy access to Pest side of city, Travelling from airport on local transport cost 320UF less than 2 euro took about 30 mins and metro very close to hotel. The rate quoted for hotel was very good including breakfast. free internet is a bonus Even though it was on a quite side street, there was a lot of noise during the night on the street. Curtains were inadequate ..The television didnt work.No kettle or tea/coffee making facilities. The door had to be locked by key both to enter and lock inside, Bit of an nuisance
Good location, nice service - helpfull staff.
very nice hotel, excellent for the price a bit noisy in the mornings
cosy atmosphere, friendly staff no air-conditioning while the weather was hot
Nice and clean, close to the city but still pretty calm. A bit of a problem paying with a company credit card without a PIN code.
I liked the price a lot. And the flexibility of the staff.
Clean, good comfort, location - not far away from shopping and cultural area of Budapest.
Easy to go elsewhere between buda and pest
Good location - is not far away from metro station (the same line as Nepliget where bus terminal is), some distance away from heavy traffic and noisy streets. Bath room had a serious flaws affect to the comfort. My room door was opposite elevator and I heard everything happens near it. Breakfast is scanty.
It was in a central place and with good communication possibilities No clean tovels, only the first day a little piece of soap, etc.
Location, helpful and nice staff :-) I wish in the hotel the principles of sustainable development would be considered: the sheets need not to be changed during a short stay, possibilities to sort waste could be offered (at least paper and other). I was glad towels were not changed suring my short stay.
dirty sheets, big windows with no blinds: extremely luminous inside the room. Bathroom smells terrible, and amenities are not fancy. Coffee is really terrible
really nice and helpful staff, breakfast was good, room nice, big and clean
Best value for money in Budapest. In a quiet good area, metro is two minutes by walking, tram is 1 minute walking. Clean rooms. Best choice for me ever... The walls are a little thins..to listen voices from the neighbors.
- The location of the hotel is very good, close to the center and very close to the M3 metro station (Ferenc krt., 500m). - The price I have paid for it 44€ per nigth. No airco in my room, isn't a problem this time of the year (april), but can be in the summer monts, ask for a room with airco.
good location, good price. no changes in the choice of food for breakfast
Nice, cozy hotel. Great, quiet location. Very safe, urban part of Budapest. Even though it’s not in downtown, it’s very close to it. Fair breakfast. Really low price when booking last minute (30 Euro for a twin room, with breakfast). The furniture and room decoration could be nicer, but for the given price, this is OK.
There could be a hairdryer in the rooms.
It's located right next to the subway entrance, a mall and a busy street going downtown. So very easy to leave your car there to visit Budapest. private parking and the meals are quite high in price.
Efficiancy of the staff
Easy to reach by public transport, extremely friendly staff and very good value for you money. There is a nice balcony and even though being on the road side, not much noise came in at night. The bed wasn't as comfortable as I'd hoped, especially the pillows were mediocre at best (small and uncomfortable at times).
-there was only ONE towel for each of us in the bathroom ! no hair dryer
The facilities for children and the internet point. The hotel staff were very helpfull and wellcoming.
Metro station Hatar Ut is just across the street- you can reach the center in 15 minutes. Clean and quiet rooms to the garden. Breakfast is expansive- 9 euro pro person.
Internet connection is terrible...
Very convenient for airport and city centre. good transport links. Good staff service and accommodation. n/a
The reception The bathroom was not very clean and the room was a bit noisy
Walls between rooms were too thin and it was possible to hear almost every sound and voice not only from the room next to us but also from further rooms.
clean and no disturbing
The staff was very helpful and gave a lot of useful information.
hotel room, we wanted room for smokers, but we didn´t have. Very bad bath.
Nothing. Terrible mattress, Not clean, Very noisy, Quite far from the downtwon and sight seeing area.
The place is fine, near tram stop and near metro station. Hotel is quiet, provides peaceful nights. Brekfast was poor, no wegetables, no cheese, just scrambled eggs(really tasty) and bread with ham/sausage.
Leaving the hotel is what we liked the most the moment. The staff is rude, unprofessional and arrogant. The mattresses are awful. This is exactly the hotel I would never recommend. There are hundreds of hotels in Budapest so this is the one we'll never visit again.
I stayed at this hotel because of medical event which was held in the hospital located very near. If you need a room only for sleeping and your demands are realistic, the hotel is good enough. Plus you get continental breakfast and if you want supper, the food in the hotel restaurant has got good value for money... Hotel room is very "spartan", but everything works, for example in the bathroom- which is not very common in more luxury hotels. Unfortunately I could not pay by credit card- the card terminal was out of order during all 3 days of my stay and I was enforced to pay in cash. That means you must go to the ATM and you should not leave the payment to the last minute.
Location was ok. Hard wood floors were nice also. The mattresses were terrible. The water would not drain fast enough. Water was standing everywhere after a shower.
Good service, great value for money.
Nice Hostel, really go location, lot of bars and transports nearby. Good staff. The rooms are ok, you will feel good and safe sleeping there and they have a fridge too.
Simple and functional, very handy if you want to make the best of your time there because it's close to the city center.
the room was clean, the surrounding area very quiet, 5 minutes walking to the tram station the bathroom not so clean, no towels, soap, no access to the kitchen
The price was reasonable with comfortable room. It was bit difficult to find hostel at first time because hostel was not located at same line as other building. Guests may look for it carefully.
Good price, good location, good receptionist, laundry sevice, 24-hour check in, prompt reply. can not paid with credit card.
Hostel is rather cheap, but all facilities necessary are basic but present - for us this was an excellent location...
very large, clean room in city centre, cheap as well! no double bed although booked, was a bit noisy at night due to other guests
Location is very good. 3 metro stations from the city center. Hotel is located very close to metro station. It seems that earlier this hotel was a hospital or something like this.
location in the center, low price for the room, free WiFi cleanliness was not so good, we had not WiFi in the room
The staff ís very helpful, the breakfast is ok for being a hostel. Free Internet. We shared the toilet with a couple who lived there, and it was quite messy and uncleaned.
