Excellent, rather eccentric hotel. Room included a kitchenette Bit of a walk to reach the metro
Free Wireless Internet
The suite was wonderful, very relaxing weekend and the bed was very comfortable. Lovely views over the garden and a very peaceful location. Dinner in the restuarant was excellent and the wine selection was good. One thing to note - it is not a 10 minute walk to the antiques market - it is more a 20 - 30 minute walk!!
Everything was perfect... room, accomadations, service and food were high level
Free internet 1. Bed was not comfortable. 2. Noisy hotel 3. Breakfast buffet was poor 4. not value for the money we paid
Friendly staff, quite room, breakfast on the room was at no extra cost Bathroom was a bit dated.
Typical "belgian style", luxurious and with lots of personality. Classic rooms and furnishing, Very good situation in business/shopping district of Brussels. Hotel has an hamman we didn't use -but looked appealling. Booking arrangement at hotel was (very) inefficient. We had to change twice (!) before we got our room (first two were un-prepared, despite the fact that we arrived late in the evening). We got a free room upgrade in exchange.
It looks like your own beautiful mansion in a City. Very homely, luxurious. The restaurant is located in a conservatory and the hotel has small delightful garden. Some of the rooms and apartments are overlooking the garden. The shopping street Louisa is few minutes away. The old city is about 20 min walk. Right in front you will find one of the best chocolate manufacturer in the city, with small chocolate shop for degustation. If you walk in opposite direction to the centre, you will find some very good non touristic restaurants for local public. Don't miss the Quinquallery restaurant and Museum Horta
The hotel is beautiful, totally elegant... what more could one ask for?
I stayed for 3 nights. The staff was very nice and helpful, the decoration and the atmosphere very warm and the buffet breakfast was excellent. Nothing.
No hot water first night
Location and Value for money
Public parking is next door to the hotel. Breakfast is really good.
The location is excellent. Close to all transport and shopping centres as well as good restaurants. It is reasonably priced as well. The rooms are not isolated as such is the adjoining room noise disturbing. The breakfast is of poor quality for the price.
staff are friendly and co-operative the rooms are not sound proof and electric connection are not near the bed,
Nice hotel good location staff were responsive There was a problem with the Hot water
large room. no hot water during 1 day!
Cheerful pleasant staff
all the staff friendly and fully co-operative the rooms are not sound proof
Well located near a Metro station and in shopping area Hotel must be close to a police station as there was a lot of noise from sirens. Breakfast wasn't included in the price and was expensive for a family of 4.
The location was excellent. We only stayed 1 night so didn't have time to really assess the hotel facilities
central, confort, clean, excellent reception specially mrs ASMA EL BORJI ,excellent image of the hotel the bath room is poor in soaps and shampoing..the price of breakfast is high
We came in from Amsterdam where there was no A/C during a heat wave. We took the Thalys speed train to Brussells and the Pullman is attached to the train station which was awesome. It has A/C and the room is modern and clean, the bathroom is modern and the size was enough for us. And there's a full service Haagen-Daz right to it. The hotel restaurant is also very classy. The bartenders were wonderful. The drinks, coffee, food were all good. I can't really think of anything I disliked. The elevators were a bit cramp but, not a big deal.
Friendliness of staff; size of room and facilities; breakfast; location - near Metro, shops, variety of restaurants, within 15 minutes walk of Brussels City Centre. Not really anything we didn't like, just that we could have done with more than one teabag with the tea and coffee making facilities and, ideally, two armchairs. But in general the hotel provided everything we could have wanted.
Amazing staff, great room, clean and modern. Overall great stay. They really helped take care of me, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Excellent. And breakfast was amazing too.
Very quiet and clean room, nice bathroom, friendly staff, close to tube and city centre
Room was well equipped No air conditioning in room. Too hot and stuffy during the warm weather. Quite a lot of noise outside.
location , breakfast, good weekend prices
NH Stephanie is located in the Saint Gilles area of Brussels and located close to many restaurants, fine retailers and the Louise Metro Stop. Definately a GREAT value for the money. We walked everywhere but the Metro, Uber, and Taxi cabs were available if needed. It would have been nice to have breakfast included as part of the 10 day stay - Breakfast was 17 Euro ($18.00 USD).
Location of the hotel, very practical for my business time. I should have appreciate to get free internet connexion in the room for that price.
location and price no air conditioning
Location is excellent, close to metro and just off shopping streets. Room was good size. We got a smoking room by mistake, it was a bit strong smell of smoke in the room, even with open window.
The rooms were very comfortable We believe that €25 to park the minibus was completel;y unnecessary. We also think that €20 per breakfast was far too high. We went elsewhere for breakfast so you lost out in the end.
location staff, facilities, internet The facilities were poorly up-kept, the internet was extremely slow and the shower did not work. The staff was incredibly rude and they refused to fix the shower or allow us to change rooms the first day. The first few times we brought up the problem, they insinuated that the shower definitely worked, and that we were too incompetent to operate it. The third time, they finally had someone come up to look at the shower, and of course it was broken. Apparently one staff member's confirmation that our shower was broken was not good enough though, and they had to get another staff member to check the shower [which was still obviously broken] again. This whole process took around an hour of the little time we had in Brussels before we were allowed a new room. Furthermore, even after they acknowledged the broken shower, they were not the least bit apologetic for wasting our time and not believing us in the first place. As a last insult, they tried to charge us for items in the minibar that we did not take. Overall, it would have been a nice stay if there weren't any issues that needed staff help, but if something arises and you need the help of the staff, good luck because you'll need it.
The rooms were large enough and the elevator reached immediately your floor. The food was good and it was plenty. We had two beds, and even if we tried to unite them, we couldn't sleep very well, because they were on wheels. Also, around the windows there was some mould, because of humidity. It was cold, but only because they didn't tell us at the reception that we could start the radiators.
The breakfast is abolutely first class! The hotel is located very well for a city sightseeing. The staff was not very courteous. The "normal" prices (without any special offers) are far too high.
Perfectly clean room. Helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Well situated to museums, shopping and restaurants. Everything was just lovely.
The staff was helpful and professional.
Excellent hotel all round
Upon arrival we were told that our suite which we reserved was a bit smelly. They offered us a standard room at a lower rate or could move to their 5-star sister hotel 200 m down the road which we did. We got their a nice suite. Staff arranged the transfer of our luggage between the 2 hotels.
Room facilities , near city center , very clean
Very professional hotel staff - helpful, nice, good english. Comfortable beds, nice view from the window, good location.
The style of the hotel and the comfort of my room. Classic retro look, breakfast was very good in variety and delicatessens. I would go again.
Location, attentive staff Extremely poor sound-proofing, room cleanliness needs improving
The location is great, and the atmosphere is great too. Staff was a little cranky. World of difference compared to Manos Premier down the street.
Friendly staff. Nicely made up babybed was directly brought. Good location! (near daily market on Parvis de Saint-Gilles) Breakfast, no fresh fruit, bad coffee and croissants...
The locaton is quiet yet is close to the metro system and Gare Midi. Good restaurants within walking distance and the centre of Brussels is only 20 minutes walk away on foot. Efficient service and comfortable room.
Some of the fixtures and fitings are worn out and reauie replacing
Quiet rooms on the inner courtyard
Friendly and helpfull staff
The lovely breakfast, incredibly comfortable bathtub and bed and very friendly staff!
this place is excellent, an absolute gem. It is stylish and individual and the owner is commited to excellent service and a comfortable stay.
design good towel service poor
Very nice small boutique hotel with fine decorations and modern equipment in a classical Brussels building. Breakfast rather modest. Bathroom with washing tables, bath tub and shower not really separated from sleeping room (no doors). This could cause a certain feeling for lack of privacy if travelling in company. WC however in a separate room.
It's a very classy Bed and Breakfast. Great atmosphere, fantastic design, perfect place for a romantic getaway. The location is not perfect, but you can catch the metro or tram and get to the centre in 15 minutes. Best to avoid the morning rush-hour though
Absolutely amazing hotel. Big room, very clean and great staff.
Metro 60 meters away. Very nice and confortable rooms. Very familiar and cozy. The room was not cleaned during my staying (2 days), what was not a problem.
Wonderful hotel - wonderful service. Couldn't do enough for us. Highly recommended A+++++++++
Very friendly but unobtrusive. Interesting design. Nice breakfast.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and quiet. The location is walking distance from the center of Brussels, and very near a metro station and the Brussels Midi rail station. Trouble finding the hotel on first arrival.
Convenience got euro star No where to eat in the evening. Restaurant closed.
clean rooms spacious rooms directly across the train station- best to get to Eurostar train nice breakfast friendy staff overall a nice place to stay.
right in front of gare midi, means direct access from airport. walking distance to all sights of Brussels. Very friendly and welcoming staff. I arrived early and was offered a coffee until room was ready. 100 % Recommendation nothing to complain, really nice stay
The location of the hotel
Good location, close to the metro and a nice panoramic view over the city just a few steps away from the hotel. Very strong and unpleasant scent in the room we first got in (may be it was a milldue under the carpet or a very specific smell of a carpet cleaner but we almost left the hotel. After airing the room out for hours it was not as bad.
Very nice appartments with nicely furnished, free internet & conveniently located. Very friendly & helpful staff.
Location, 1 block from the metro stop - sightseeing made easy! The apartment was well equipped and clean. In an apartment for 4 people, I expected to have 2 wc'S. There was only 1 unfortunately.
quietness, discretion, privacy, possibility to prepare meals if necessary, radio and CD player lack of ventilation in the bathroom
kitchen utensels is a little bit complete than before bath tub drainage was too slow
Within walking distance to the main square Close to Louise with amazing views of the city. Spacious clean rooms with hob fridge microwave and dishwasher and free wifi. It appeared that the manager was a fellow cyclist and suggested we take our bikes to the rooms to ensure they were secure. Didn't eat here but breakfast was available for an extra €14.
your services and when i stay that ,i feel like stay my home not have
The location was great. The walls were paper thin. You could hear everything that was going on around you. The room only had a hide-a-bed, which was not clearly indicated at all on the website, and was not that comfortable.
I really value the location. And that's why I've chosen the hotel. I didn't like the bed at all - it was a sofa transformed into bed - very uncomfortable to sleep; blankets were not in sheets; the floor was so dirty that seemed to be unacceptable for such type of hotel.
Location, kitchen with facilities, helpful staff. Internet (wifi and wired in the room) sometimes is not working.
Super breakfast Colourful setting Price : a very good value for money St Gilles quarter is a nice spot The shower's curtain, but it's just a detail (I would have prefered a Pantone one)
Great location, very friendly and helpfull staff. I received quite a big room with a nice veiw. It was too cold in my room in the evenig. And nothing could be done with radiators to make it warmer.
Easy to find, close to metro station, big room with necessary services for a 1 or 2 night stay. No toothbrush, shaving kit or similars in the room.
Staff were pleasant and helpful. The "look" was as I expected which I really enjoyed. Unfortunately, I didn't have the time to spend another night in the hotel which I would have enjoyed. It would have been handy to know the closest Metro stop and Tram stop. Or did I miss that info somewhere
New, well appointed, good location Still smelling of paint
Perfect funky hotel for the price. Room 508 had a horrible moldy smell, we asked to move and they seemed to be aware of the smell and had no hesitation in moving us at all.
Design and helpful staff. Easy access to metro 5 minutes walk and central train station - 2 stops with metro. Rooms were generally cold, especially the bathroom which was fully tiled and did not benefit from underfloor heating. Lack of instructions within the rooms as to where the emergency exits were.
Relatively quiet location near the inner city ring, good room facilities. No complaints at all.
Courteous staff. Sparkling clean rooms. Excellent design. Welcoming manager. Excellent free internet access. Small shower stall and bathroom.
wifi internet access
We attended the nearby Bruxellensis festival and the location was ideal The double room was a good size for two people and despite being at the front of the building, noise was minimal The staff were friendly and helpful A good solid local hotel Breakfast was plain but filling In our opinion the pillows and beds were too soft The water pressure in the shower and taps was too low More options for breakfast would be better
personel can not speak english well enough breakfast was late I could not have breakfast during my stay
Good location, very nice designed rooms.
nicely located in a back road of st-gilles's chaussée de charleroi, room very spacious and quiet mattress not very firm, tendency to meet each other in the middle
This is small hotel, probably family owned, with excellent staff. There is not much fuss here - you are simply left to get on with your stay without complications. The breakfast is good, the rooms clean and comfortable and there is satellite tv in each bedroom with a good choice of channels, unfortunately not many English channels :-( but we weren't there for TV and my partner is German so she had a good few familiar channels from home to watch. Not really, perhaps directions on the website could be a little more clear in stating on which street the hotel is located and the hotel could do with a proper sign to identify it and make themselves a bit more obvious.
the location is good and we can get move around town with no problem nothing specialexcept for the phone was not wroking in my room
Everything is ok for this price. The only thing that I don't like is it's being a non-smoking hotel. Of course that's not a big problem, because everyone knows that smoking kills you.
The young man at the reception was very nice. The place was cleaned and close to tram. Ok for a night or two. There were very few TV channels that worked, most italian and french. The flow of water and the hot water did not work properly in the 3rd floor. The internet was unstable. A very modest 2 star.
Brand new we stayed on the first day. Breakfast in the price was good. Centrally located and near metro station. It seems as if the owners were new to hotel keeping. No bannisters to the narrow staircase to the third floor with dark carpets which made it difficult to see the stair edge. No glasses in the rooms for drinking water. A triumph of style over substance but no doubt experience will improve the decor and make it more practical. Paying the bill took five minutes on the computer at the desk.
Very friendly staff, well designed hotel in a good central location.
The design and the decoration in the rooms Very little space, the room was very small for its price, the absence of a small refrigerator and the lack of a decent work space inside the room. This hotel is definitely not aiming to the bussiness people in Brussels.
Inventive and creative interior design. Good value; well heated in winter. Very friendly. A degree of originality.
The hotel is central for restaurants. The rooms are spacious and clean.
the breakfast , the design of the hotel , the location closed to the center of the city the weather ....
Vintage hotel has personality. Nice atmosphere, excellent location, good breakfast
Nice location, good quality. Not a luxury hotell, but very well developed concept. The room was not big, but clean.
The facility and its comfort
nice staff, cont. breakfast ok, cheap No air conditioners or fans.
Low budget hotel. Good location for shopping and easy to get toCentral locations. In need of some modernisation in the decor in the reception and room. Needs a bit of life within the building. The suggestion of 'up grading' to an 'executive room '- a bit far fetched.
My room was cosy with a spacious and nicely lit bathroom. During the past year the hotel has become a completely non-smoking institution, however, the when making reservations, the option of a smoking room was still available, which led to disappointment upon arrival. However, this could be a problem within the booking system and not the hotel's fault.
People being friendly, breakfast ok, garage available Room very small (I booked double for single rate - the room was definitely a single room despite a double bed), hotel somewhat run down despite renovation being claimed to have been done recently, heating difficult to regulate, strange smell in whole of hotel (smelled like oil), did not get non-smoking room, no telephone list found in the rrom
Big clean en suite rooms; Good Breakfast; Staff helpful; Not far from Trams & Metro;
very quite hotel central heating with oil smelled
Nothing! Too much noise, terrible decoration, poor room quality
Value for money, Good breakfast. very small toilet/shower. Too long a walk into the city for older people, or those with walking difficulties
Very comfortable hotel, lovely, stpacious room with good bed (top floor of hotel). Unfortunately no wifi reception in room , needed to move to the bar to do emails. Breakfast was excellent staff was very friendly. I come to Brussels often for work at the parliament and would certainly book Louise again.
Nice location, next to shopping street, and also close to center (20min walk) Staff is not very friendly. Breakfast in the last 45minutes is not the same, selection is smaller, no replacement for foods that are already finished
great bathroom! very friendly staff the location is a bit far, especially at night. we took a taxi from the center and cost 15 euros. the room had 2 single beds instead of 1 big queen or king bed.
Nice area, Nice hotel Large groups of bus tourists at breakfast
Good service and reasonably priced room; free internet in room and lobby; only 15 - 20 minutes to most locations; overall quite good value for money in an expensive hotel town (i.e. Brussels) There was a distinct unpleasant smell from time to time, possibly from the sewage connection in the building to the toilet in my room. Also there was no Iron to use take out the wrinkles in my work clothes in the hotel or in my room. Since this is mostly a business hotel, this deficiency should be addressed (i.e Irons made available to guests) at the hotel
privacy they do not have any real food
I'm not giving best grades lightly, but this hotel is really excellent. From staff to services, breakfast, etc, just nothing to complain. Be carefull when using garage, entrace is quite tight, especially for bigger cars.
Water pressure in the shower was excellent. Good location in nice neighborhood. Excellent breakfast (cooked to order eggs). Room was very small and a bit run down; i.e. the walls need a fresh coat of paint.
Room was quite large and clean. Parking entrance was very narrow.
The hotel was clean and the staff helpful. Position is a bit further out than I realised but the tram service is good. On the second night the only food available was a three course meal. The standard menu was not available.
Clean, comfortable, reasonable Food provided after restaurant closed Restaurant closed early
Free internet in the room and in the public areas (unusual for Brussels), excellent value After I checked out I got billed for a colleague's room (the hotel was fully booked and he had to move out, at which point they billed me since they did not have his card details). The reception did not seem to know how to fix this. Luckily my colleague was able to reimburse me in cash.
