Unfortunately, we have to echo many of the negative reviews left by others. We paid for a king room, they gave us a queen without saying anything. Upon arrival, we were immediately disappointed: the lobby area was less-than-inviting, front desk was rude, but we thought we would try to give it a shot, so we proceeded with check-in. From there, things got worse: the elevator door wouldn't close, hallways smelled bad (like greasy food), there were stains on bed sheets. We went back downstairs and gave them back the room key. Since our room was non-refundable, we called Wyndham corporate and asked for a full refund, explaining that the property was completely unacceptable. Received a call back the next day and they agreed to refund our money. Parking is also terrible in this area, but that wasn't the main dealbreaker for us - you pay to park in their lot, but then they do not guarantee the space will be available again if you need to leave and come back. They also said they charge multiple times if you need to leave and come back.
The price was reasonable and the premises new and clean (the bed sheets smelled clean and fresh, the cushions were firm and ample) The location in Brooklin counterbalances the price but the subway is really only 150 feet away. Some comments on booking.com mention a not-so-friendly staff. But I liked them. They were not there to entertain their guests, but they were effective and practical in their job, they answered our questions, helped and solved our problems. Carry on like this!! I wanted to leave a smelly and dusty hotel in Manhattan (also booked on booking.com !!) and I fortunately found bw Plus Prospect available with very little notice. The comments on booking.com reflected well what we found, so I was not displeased to find that the room was small for 4 and that the breakfast room was also small. But no big deal. We were really happy to find this alternative. It saved our holiday in nyc.
It was convenient for the subway Cleaning of the room, only tidy once during our 4 day stay. We had to ask for our trash to be thrown and additional towels
The staff was as receptive and accommodating as they could be. There was nothing they could provide that they didnt do so with a smile. the website for the hotel as well as the information provided on every booking site I researched contained much false advertising. There was no coffeemaker, no bar, no restaurant, no live entertainment...

In NYC, it served the purpose of having a comfortable crash-pad. It afforded easy access to D, N, R trains, the opportunity to explore Brooklyn, & friendly staff!
I hate the hotel. It was terrible. Worst place I have stayed in my life. BPM is no way a 3.5 star hotel. I wouldnâ€™t even call it a hotel. The room and the hallways were extremely dirty. the vicinity to the train station The hotel was located in a badly kept part of town, the rooms were dirty, the shower was covered in mold, the breakfast was not even worth eating, the hallways were dirty, and the entire state of the hotel was poor.
Nothing! This place is more like a hostel. It is definitely not a 3 1/2 star 'hotel' Smell of Weeds, unprofessional staffs and no bath towel. We were asked to use a 'used' hand towel for our stay and the staff was using inappropriate language in front of our children. It was so bad we packed it up and left for the night.

It was within walking distance to food places and the subway. Staff was unorganized, loud, and smoked weed, the hallways were scattered with trash bags, our sink was clogged up and DIRTY, floor in our room was dirty, table tops were dusty. Weird that every floor had a security guard. Elevator did not work.
It was in Brooklyn. Hallway was dirty.Probably not vacuumed in few days.Sink wont drain for about 1-2 hrs.I brushed and shaved in the shower.Certainly not 3.5 star rating. Will not go again.
The Hotel was close to my business meetings in Brooklyn. The location was not the safest area for travelers, even native New Yorkers were not comfortable with leaving me at the hotel due to the surrounding location.
Liked: - The hotel is conveniently located close to a subway train station. - The Front Desk staffers were friendly. - The hotel rate included continental breakfast each morning. Did not like: - Hair on the floor in the room. - Bathroom has odour coming from the drainage system and/or toilet, even though the toilet looked clean. - Carpet in the hallway on the 5th floor needed some vacuuming or steam cleaning.

The location. The breakfasts are meager. Only 2 choices of cereal, and only 1 fruit. No hot food. Coffee is not bad, though.
The value for such an expensive city was better than expected. The area seemed safe and the staff were prompt at changing our room when our TV didn't work in our initial room. The only negative is that there is nothing in the immediate area so you would have to travel to anywhere you would like to go. There is a Subway station within a quarter mile, however this only carries the R line which is an all stopping train that enters Manhattan at the very Southern tip so it can take 30-40 minutes to get to Empire State Building area. However, once again, for the price it was very good.
The room is clean. The bed is confortable. And I like the coffee machines and free tea. Breakfast not tasty.
Front desk employees were helpful and nice. Called for a driver to take us wherever we needed. Cab driver had no idea where Coney Island was (what kind of cabbie doesn't know Coney island?) The sheets on the bed still had stains on them. The shower leaked large amounts of water onto the bathroom floor. The shower head fell off after barely touching it. The ATM was down aND the only other option was 3 blocks away. No cab drivers new the location of the hotel.
It was comftarble and a the room was clean, I had a great stay. Staff at the front desk was a bit rude. overall everithing was good.
Few things... The furniture in the hotel is new, but the room is not confortable... the space in the room is very narrow. The bathroom is the only thing that I like... and the breakfast. The room was very narrow! O request to staff to change my room, but they were not polite and rude! I defenitely do not reserve another night there!
Nice & clean and Good value for money, near to subway station. Most of the staff were helpful apart from the older guy when I first arrived who was abrupt and unhelpful, which you could do without after a 3,000 mile journey when I friendly welcome would be nice!!

The hotel did not have record of the price that I had booked the room at. It wasn't until I produced my booking .com acknowledgement that they were acknowledged the price. They wantwed to charge me $40.00 more per night for the room.
everthing was nice and clean and the lady that was in charge of the breakfast room was very kind .
Booking was fast easy and accurate There were filthy used condoms in our room that my seven year old daughter discovered and no one has returned my call to resolve this issue yet!
