Location was great close to everything. Price for the location you cant beat it Parking was a block away and it cost $32 with there discount.
Close to work, comfortable bed. No in-room coffee, very weak shower stream, no breakfast buffet, no desk, AC that blows right on you, lights that are impossible to adjust.
Very clean, modern look, staff was friendly and helpful. Unable to block out light from the street with blinds. No on site parking available. A better discount on local parking garage would make this hotel one of the best affordable stays in the city.
Rooms were small and dingy and poorly lit.
My wife and I stayed in Boston for a quick getaway and were very impressed with the hotel. It offered a clean room with a comfortable bed. The location is the reason to book this hotel,
Centrally located, nice comfortable rooms. Breakfast available starting at 6am. Not enough in room lighting. A second mirror in bathroom would have been nice.
The hotel is directly connected to a bar/nightclub that housed what seemed to be a majority of hotel clientele. "Cabin" room had a 70 inch flat screen We stayed in a "Cabin" Whig meant our room was literally in the basement of them hotel and provided no windows. It was also quite small
Location was next to Faneuil Hall/Quincy Market...good price for that area Couldnt control temp in the room..froze all night
Great location , clean, spacious, comfortable beds, quiet Parking. A few blocks away and cost an extra $30. No breakfast.
Room and hotel were nice. Location was very loud. It was friday night and the noise outside did not stop until after 4am (car horns, loud drunk prople, police sirens). We literally got no sleep due to the extreme noise.
The morning staff was nice The evening staff was a bit rude Had a lots of ants in our room!!
The staff could not have been nicer in particular the Concierge Desk It was expensive but because it was a conference we stayed there
A tad expensive, but beautiful for that special treat. Location, quality, services, staff friendliness, all 10/10.
Location and atmosphere Received a queen size not the king and there were issues with the minibar
The Meritage Restaurant was outstanding. Our view was magnificent and the staff was very attentive, they seem to like what they are doing. The maid service was a bit inconsistent.
A fabulous location, with great views of the Harbour, made the start of our New England trip something to remember
spa , pool . close to gardens .with transportation. good food at a fair price $44.00 parking was a one time fee which is fair.will promote and stay again everthing was great!
This was a great place Nothing bad to say here
Wonderful location with a world class view of the Boston Harbor, the airport across the bay and the flashing lighthouse at the mouth of the Atlantic beyond. Very good downstairs staff, lovely restaurant and bar, and spectacular if you like boats, the water, watching the weather and walking to the aquarium, etc. Easy to get to by water taxi from the airport -- an adventure. The sheet on the bed had what was certainly a fresh red blood drop on it -- like someone had cut them selves and didn't know while making the bed -- when we finally came in late the first night. The staff took care of this and the room was very clean after that.
Excellant facility, perfect location, easy walk to Little Italy and other shopping, Fennial Hall. NO
The hotel is but not more than that !
View of the sea & quality service Breakfast not included in price. Overall cost too expensive (bed+breakfast+taxes)= more than 400 euros per night)
breakfast at this hotel is below hotel standards!!!
We enjoyed the Hilton very much! The rooms were extremely clean and cozy. The Location was ideal for enjoying the night life however.... when we were trying to sleep it was extremely loud. We heard people throughout the hotel all night and everything going on outside the windows. Otherwise everything was wonderful!
Service in the hotel bar. Ordered mimosas while we waited for our car. 4 different waitresses came over to get our order (after we'd already placed it). 10 minutes later, still sans mimosa, I asked one of them if they were coming. As it turns out they won't serve alcohol before 11 AM. Probably something worth mentioning when someone orders!!!!
Location and room size Staff, difficult to work with. Room was not clean (mold in the bath tub, sinks leaked)
Being near the harbor. Taxis weren't always available, although the waits were not too long.
It was incredibly functional--I stayed in a clean, nice one bed room and for my needs it was perfect. The only thing that didn't quite work was the fact that I was relying fully on public transportation and it is a solid walk from the closet T stop. I could do it, but if you have kids, or ladies, if you're wearing heels, plan to take 'em off to get there!
The staff was very accomodating. We never had to wait long for any request. The bathroom was better than most hotels. nothing
The staff was wonderful, very polite and helpful. The hotel was very clean. The beds were quite comfortable. The room was nicely spacious. It is a lovely hotel conveniently located for the tourist. The appointments were a little less than expected considering the expense/level of accommodation. Nothing major. The furniture was sub-par - the drawers didn't close well, the closet door light weight. The phone lines did not work. There was on-going remodeling work to which the trouble with the phones might be attributed however the issue was not resolved within our four night stay.
Great location. 0.2 miles from fanuiel hall. Next to a pub and across the street from a restaurant / next to Howel at the moon and walking distance to aquarium, restaurants, bars and harbor... Everything costs money... Parking is $51 extra per night. Wifi is $40 extra per night... King Rooms are tiny... Staff isn't friendly... Hallways are dark... Some valet people are rude, others are absolute dolls... And the lobby is depressing and sets the vibe for the rest of the hotel... Couldn't control heat, felt like cold air was blowing on us all night.
Awesome staff. They helped a lot with restaurants and hot spots of Boston. They asked if I'd like a spacious room.. I got a regular one oddly shaped. They had construction going and woke me up with drills and hammers at 730am both the nights I was there
good service, helpful staff, enjoyed the food, very comfortable beds, good room facilities, very clean and spacious. nothing to dislike - we enjoyed it all.
Location of hotel was great. Room was clean and comfortable but quite small, especially for a 'king room' and oddly designed Thought it was overpriced for the size of the room
very clean, nice room, fantastic staff heat in room was uncontrollable. had AC set to 60 degrees with windows open and it was stifling hot in the room all the time. literally sweating thru the night.
For $575 they could at least provide coffee and a morning newspaper. Bathroom was small and old.
The whole hotel was impeccably clean...wonderful. The room service was super fast. The location is close to so many great things in walking distance of hotel! The maid service was terrific; very friendly and thorough. The internet was fast - once you got on it. For a luxury hotel, internet connection is typically included in the price of your stay. As a Marriott rewards member I was surprised it was not free...apparently I was not at the right level. The parking was overpriced - one member of our group parked and $51 a day was extremely high. The cluster of cars, buses, taxes etc at the entrance was poorly managed. Pedestrians were at risk, guests at risk, and children at risk - there did not appear to be anyone in control of the flow of traffic coming in an out of the entrance area. High risk.
Staff permitted us to check in early. Excellent Location.
Clean, comfortable, GREAT location, excellent amenities, friendly staff, good restaurant and bar. Definitely will be my choice of place to stay when I return to Boston!
Clean room and lots of amenities. Great location and easy access to pretty much anything. We used point for the room. Cost is pretty high, so if considering cost with other hotels others could be a better value.
Maid service very good Front desk personal room outdated Charge for wifi Security staff at front door very very intimidating
We love staying at this hotel. We had a great view of Quincy Market and the city landscape. We like being close to the North End. Our room was clean and comfortable The hallway on our floor was a little dirty. Used glasses and dishes placed outside of rooms waiting to be picked up along with some spilled food on the rug.
We really enjoyed our stay at Marriott Custom House during our recent family vacation to Boston. The location is ideal and the villas provided plenty of space for everyone. The observation deck was fun and we went up there several times during our stay. We would definitely return to the Custom House again.
