Very charming hotel, great swimming pool, extremely friendly staff The lobby does not give the right first impression, the wellness center is not attractive and expensive, the gym section could be more attractive as well
Proximity of Bodrum destination without being in the city. Limited road signs for direction and access to hotel for non turkish visitors driving a rented car.
It's so far from 5 stars only the location is 5 star. prices is very high for the food rooms small next door there is night club music start at 12 finish at 5 am. you can hear the music in the room
Convenient (right on water)
Service was excellent. We had a delicious breakfast every morning and drinks by the sea every afternoon. Having the option of a pool and the sea was also really nice. Beautiful location. The design of the room did not match the design of the hotel. That said, it was very clean and had all the amenities.
Hotel staff is excellent. The hotel is in Türkbükü and it is the most popular place in bodrum. The hotel is in the middle of te beach clubs, excellent restaurants and night clubs. I recomend the hotel to the people who prefer crowded places for their holiday.
It is compact, and the architecture is so nice, also the stuff were very helpful
The staff was very friendly, food is delicious, location is really good. It has its own deck for sunbathing and swimming. Extras are a bit expensive.
Great breakfast, lovely beach pontoon & pool Very overpriced food & drinks
The staff and location were great and it was a real value.
Breakfast service was poor.
Location was ok and the food was good. Beach area was nice as well and was a fun scene at night. I thought that the hotel was not good value for the money. The hotel staff was surly and not helpful, the rooms are small and did not feel clean, the rooms felt tired, and we had to change rooms because our ceiling had a big hole in it and was leaking water.... The hotel did not compensate us for the lesser room and they originally even refused to put us into a new room. Ther e are much nicer hotels around the maki in in neighboring towns that would have been much better value for the money.
Turkbuku is beautiful... the waterfront at the Maki is hard to beat. Staff was courteous and friendly. Look forward to returning and happy to recommend to others. The room was slightly underwhelming for the cost, but this can be typical for beach locales.
The quality of staff and service of Maki Hotel does not match its name and price and stars. Our experiences were unbeliable: Twice housekeeping guys barged into our room without knocking! Twice leftover room service food from previous night was left untouched in front of the room till the afternoon and then thrown on the garden in our view to be eaten by cats. We aksed an iron and the iron delivered did not work. We ordered pizza on the beach, they forgot the pizza but did not forget to add it on the bill. Housekeeping did not renew shampoo and bath gel. They took the bathrobes and did not bring them back. There was no shoeshine. The whole experience was unbelievable, I have never seen such bad service and unequipped staff.
nature,close to beach,restaurant
convinience too expensive from value for money perspective. It was end of the season and hotel staff was not very friendly and service was very slow
The vibrant atmosphere throughout the day and evening, the courteous behavior of the staff and the type of visitors one would expect to see. The very high noise from the loud speakers of neighboring restaurants or discos that would not stop until the early hours of the morning.
upscale youthful crowd (mostly coming from within Turkey), fantastic ambience and great rooms/facilities didn't like 2 things: first one was the hotel personnel, who barely spoke any other language except turkish. The second thing was the breakfast. The one included in the price could suffice only for those on a strict diet. Even coffee or juice had to be ordered separately for a hefty extra price.
We were slightly off-season (late Sept) so the hotel felt empty in a good way. Very relaxing on the jetty. The hotels design and stall definitely aimed to please. Breakfast was outstanding. The room service, minibar, and restaurant are expensive. There are no markets/grocers within a 10 minute walk so that was somewhat frustrating. That said, we were staying slightly above our normal budget range so maybe it's normal at a place that costs EUR 200-300/night.
