the Sunday brunch! room was a little bit small - no much room between bed and desk
The location of the hotel for fantastic for sightseeing - very central with good access to busses and trains. The staff were helpful and the accommodation very comfortable. Will definately stay again. All good
Excellent central location. Room well-laid out, warm, comfortable, very clean, nice hot shower. Stunning view! Plenty of choice at breakfast. Queues to check in. Very loud music outside hotel which started about 22.00 and was still going strong at 2.30, when I finally fell asleep. Coffee cold at breakfast, as they put it in pots which were then left on the table throughout breakfast service.
Awesome location with perfect view which I do not regret I requested. Good room with perfect design and huge window. 1) Slight wind from under the door. 2) Some sound from probably disco bar or something late at night. 3) No free WiFi internet even in the hall!!! 4) No space in fridge for our own food. It was stuffed with their expensive mini-bar stuff.
The toilet facilities are not satisfactory. It is a problem, that the toilet almost is situated in the middle of the room with poor privacy.
Location. Nice room but small, Great view Quality of accesories, ie. towels, toilet paper, soaps and shower products. Also they charged guests to access their Panorama Terrace which is advertised as a positive point to the hotel, we found this a bit rude to say the least. Breakfast was expensive and there was no cheap option for my wife who doesn't eat much for breakfast
Location was great, and the bar was really nice too. on arrival we were told that the bar on the top floor did not exist anymore so that was a little disappointing. on arrival we were told that the bar on the top floor did not exist anymore so that was a little disappointing.
Clean room with great location. The Internet access was very expensive. Restaurant was well furnished and great service but the food was a joke.
Good location and good breakfast
The breakfast was amazing. Rooms very clean. Hotel ideally situated to get around Berlin.
Great location and tidy rooms. Panorama terace was not worth the hype.

Hotel was very well located. Close to main attractions, food and shopping and half a block from train station. Staff was helpful. We arrived early after a long train trip and they were able to acomcomodate us. Room was nice too. Room was very hot. We could not turn the heater down. We notified the hotel staff and they were able to lower the temperature a little bit but it was still warm. I woke up with a headache every day. It was the only inconvenience.

Very nice room with nice amenitites Location was difficult to find.
Staff was wonderful. Clean ... great experience. Highly recommend this place. Will go back again when in Berlin.

Location is great. Friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast. Clean and very nice rooms. Next to great restaurants and transport. For a 5 star hotel, It seemed to lack some normal things would expect from them. The pool and exercise room were a bit small. No spa or other services on this. No doorman or service staff to bring up luggage. Concierge was only on duty for half the day.
Very clean, very convenient location at train station, many restaurants around, centrally located. Did not eat at hotel at all. Could not get late check in. Did not try eating at hotel, many options just outside. Best was Dean and David salad bar... very fresh and many variations, just outside on a parallel alley.
Location Close to Friedrichstreet station Hotel Room should be cleaned better. We found dust on the floor and desktops near the bed. Courtesy of the reception staff can be Improved by simply saying 'Hello' when entering the Lobby.
good room sizes, well decorated and appointed, comfortable bed and great bathroom with both shower and bath, quiet but centrally located for Prinzlaursberg where we needed to be. Train station 1 min walk from entrance takes you all round Berlin so great connections. I had smoking room, my son not, but the lifts only operate with the specific room keys so he couldn't come visit me in my room (6th fl he was on 8th) so we always had to meet up on ground for first floor. Otherwise was perfect stay for us.
The cleanliness of the rooms. spotless. very helpful & friendly staff. great breakfast. Location. I would have preferred to be closer to the main part of prenzlauer berg.
The hotel was extremely clean and comfortable: bathrooms were great, beds comfy. The selection of food for breakfast was superb. Whilst the hotel was very close to the S Bahn station and tram, I felt it wasn't an ideal location to stay on a weekend break as there is not much in the immediate vicinity.
Great modern design. Excellent breakfast buffet. Views from the top floor cafe. They would need elevators in different points so that you don't have to walk such a long distance...
I liked the furniture, the atmosphere, the friendly staff, the room. The lobby is very wide, full of light and space: it makes a very good impression at first sight. Our room was confortable and well equipped. Good connection with the public means of transport. In front of the hotel there are an underground station and a tram station to go to the city center, the Prenzlauer Berg and to the Schoenefeld airport. The breakfast buffet is rich and tasteful. I even received greeting from the staff for my birthday. Everything was ok.
The convenience of the location. All around were great places to eat and see. It made for a great weekend getaway, nothing was wrong.
Everything was basically OK: nice cafe and bars on the 12th & 14th overlooking the East Berlin, very good breakfast buffet. clean and comfortable rooms. No free drinking water in the rooms, which is standard in other hotels of such standard. The wellness center in the hotel was opened from 9 a.m. instead of 7 a.m. as it is stated in the hotel brochure.
We loved the colours and design of the hotel! Good service and the staff was very helpful, friendly without overdoing it. The only bad thing was that you had to pay extra for the Wi-Fi! Also, the breakfast was delicious but we wished there were more flakes/musli without excessive sugar in it (only 1 of 6 contained little sugar).
Clean, comfortable, modern hotel with good facilities, staff were very very helpful, breakfast was excellent7 made for a most enjoyable trip. Snack menu was pretty limited in the Sky Cafe & ground floor.
Everything the staff, room comfort and size....
The staff was very helpful in assisting me with directions to different city locals, and with the use of the city transit system.
The location was amazing! We didn't even realize there was a Ubahn station at the edge of the hotel with cars going through the center of the hotel until our second day there. Brandenburg Tor was only a short walk away. the staff was friendly. I heard the breakfast was expensive, so we walked to the nearby cafes instead. They claimed you could control the temperature from the TV, but we couldn't cool the room down any.
Modern newly built hotel in the center of Berlin near to all sightseeing places. No wellness center or even a small gym with a few cardio machines.
Excellent hotel - friendly and helpful staff; great location. Hotel bar and restaurant expensive
The location is really good. Breakfast excellent, good price. Room interior was really nice and bed was super. Next Berlin trip I will also stay with you.
Very clean modern hotel, ideal location for our 1st trip to Berlin, would not hesitate to stay there again.
Great location only five minutes from metro and train stations, shopping centres and restaurants. Hotel clean and comfortable. Reception staff very efficient. Wifi extra charge (very expensive) in rooms and only free in reception area. Hotel expensive.
Location, Comfort Parking is expensive
Nice hotel and fantastic location, free wifi and helpful friendly staff.
BREAKFAST WAS GREAT. THE ROOM WAS VERY DUSTY.
aquarium Staff not as professional as I would have expected - we arrived early and left our bag, were told they'd phone when room ready so we went for walk in snow and never got call. Also concierge tried to charge us for free internet.
The view of the aquarium from the room was super! Good location. The bar was a little pricey!
Location was amazing. Lack of air conditioning, though I gather that's usual for Germany.
The staff, the balcony, the room and the aquriam.
Staff were efficient, friendly and accommodating. Our room was very comfortable and well designed. Room service and breakfasts were excellent.
The atmosphere and ambience of the hotel was amazing. All the facilities where top class, in particular the spectacular 15m high aquarium within the lobby area. this is well worth a visit alone.
The magnificent aquarium, very helpful and polite hotel staff, very close taxi station, nice ambiance of the lobby the room temperature can be warmer, not enough english channels on the tv
the fact that a 5 star hotel did not include slippers and bathrobes in the room, and that the furniture was at ikea-level standards
service staff was very helpful and polite, above expectations room could be warmer
Great location near the museum island and Alexanderplatz. Friendly and helpful staff, original setting with huge acquarium in the hall. We had a double bed but it was actually two single beds joined together, uncomfortable gap between mattresses, not to be expected for a hotel of this level.
We loved the hotel...great location, beautiful decor, comfortable and clean, plus the Aqua Dom view was outstanding! We'd stay here again in a heartbeat (and we will be back!) Nothing!
the aquarium is spectacular and the hotel at all is very modern; location is very good but still quiet (Museumsinsel) and for two to three nights the place is nice, many different restaurants, excellent breakfast rooms are small, no luggage service (you need to get your suitcases up yourself... and out again to the taxi... 5 star??), atmosphere of the main hall is like a 'railway station' - very strange acoustics and a kind of cold,
I liked the location, the modern decor, the very friendly staff, and cleanliness at a low price.
Room was cool (no COOLING or HEAT, though!). Lobby etc cool when you weren't stuck because the elevators weren't working. The transit pass is AWESOME, however... IF you can figure out where/how you're going. SHIT INTERNET! No AC or heat! I spent most of my downtime/travel planning at the Menninger hotel about 50 metres away. FREE internet for ALL (FAST, actually works) in their bar...so spent my $ there, instead of InterSHITTY.
Great location, close to train station, close to all of the tourist sites, close to nightlife and restaurants Floors were pretty dirty, it was a little pricey, tv acted up at times, only one shower head setting worked, no directions on how to use room ammenities such as tv, ac controls, ect
The hotel was very central - an ideal base for touring Berlin. In fact, you could walk to most of the tourist spots from the Hotel. There was a swimming pool and sauna available to guests, however to use the sauna there was an additional charge.
the restaurant :traders Vick not very good food at the room service
Its location, layout of room and bathroom.
Large room with King Beds and large bath with shower and amenities. Located in safe area of town . We walked to most attractions. Subway was in front of hotel - very convenient. Wonderful breakfast feast was included in our pkg. good price! Wi-fi and internet in the Hiltons was outrageously expensive. $10.40 to print check-in for air travel. We walked to Starbucks for free internet.
Very efficient and superb location. Slow service for lobby guests and poor lunchtime cooking in Mark Brandenburg Restaurant.
good location and worthy of its star rating. The renovations were not too difficult to live with but did restrict easy movemnt around the hotel. looks like these will go on for a few months yet
Excellent service, convenient to U Bahn (station entrance was 50 ft from the hotel entrance) and it was in the middle of many points of interest.
Location, service, room
Great hotel, there are no complaints but it would be perfect if they heat the pool
Nothing The smell of the carpet in the new renovated floors, you pay 12.50 euros if you use the spa(what 5 star hotel does that??).
Location noise of the nightclub every night
Attention to detail. The daily brunch (included in my reservation) was spectacular - the food was not only plentiful but also delicious. On my birthday, I was served champagne with breakfast. Staff. Each staff member was courteous, helpful and most importantly, dedicated to service. If they did not know the answer, they would find it for you. Spa. After my conference I booked a day at the spa - the massage and facial therapists were professional, most capable, and pleasant to spend time with. Food. The onsite restaurants had expectional cuisine and the service was equally matched. I was a guest at the hotel for 5 days/4 nights. My mini-bar was not restocked for 2 days. There were no washcloths (which Americans use); however I was able to obtain them from the spa. Each day you had to create a new WiFi password.
The hotel is situated in the heart of Berlin and the connection to the international Airport Tegel is very good. The quality of the food, in several restaurants they have, is good but not very good. Therefore the prices of the dishes are way to expensive.
very nice comfortable hotel.reception.food.and launge nothing
It's truly a 5 star hotel, it makes your life better! The Bar (itself) in the lobby couldev been fancier, the hotel has A gorgeous lobby but the Bar is just ok. Ritz Carlton has a nicer bar(americain)
It was a marvellous experience from arrival to departure and I would not hesitate to recommend to friends.
The dining was great.
Kayak provided me with an amazing deal to stay at the Adlon Hotel! The room was spectacular: clean with awesome features Like temperature control, super comfortable beds (the most comfy beds I've ever had in a hotel). Breakfast was included...a stunning breakfast buffet including luxury features like Caviar...as well as champagne, Asian fried rice...a lovely buffet!! Our stay at the Adlon was unforgettable and I'm already looking forward to returning there one day! The Adlon hotel is a pricey hotel. Even the prices at the bar reflect that! Nevertheless an awesome place to stay if one likes luxury, cleanliness, and extreme friendly attentiveness from the staff!
Location of hotel, spa drinks/meals costs high
The ambiance was wonderful. I loved the tasteful decor of the room and the lobby. The location is excellent. I wish the lobby was non-smoking or you would put the smokers in their own section. I couldn't enjoy sitting in the lobby because of all the smoke and therefore missed out on spending time listening to the music and enjoying the lovely setting.
Was very impressed by the care, attention to detail, and understanding of the staff at the Adlon Kempinsky Berlin. Sheer luxury not only in material terms, but in humane ones, too.
The service level of your staff!!! excellent!
Location and helpfulness of consigiere services...landmark and historic hotel
Its a new hotel 15 days before i get to the hotel. Very modern and very clean, incredible location walking distance to alexander platz. In front has a tram station and a bus line.Very good option to stay there. The breakfast is very good and very complete
Internet should be free in an upscale professional hotel ! Other hotels in Berlin offers free internet in your room. 2-3 computers in the hall isn't enough.
It was a really comfortable, clean hotel with friendly staff and close to a tram stop. Alexanderplatz only 2 stops away(5 mins). No complaints
comfort and service nothing
I have not had a more friendly staff in my stays in Eurrope. a wee bit out but excellent tram service just outside hotel.
Clean, kind and professional staff, good food (breakfast and dinner)
Gym area was great with sauna etc. Room was huge and really modern. The staff were efficient and helpful, nothing too much effort. The bar is a luxury space and appears in local press as a place for cocktails and fine food. Access to the bath in my bathroom in 677 is difficult due to the layout. Steam and Sauna should be on durin the day on Saturday and Sunday for leisure but does not operate untill 5pm. I would expect toiletries to be a more designer brand in a hotel of this style.
good servise ....very clean ....good location...easy to to go anywhere....
Totally relaxing beds were great ,after a day walking around Berlin it was somewhere you wanted to go back to not have to go back to. I have nothing bad to say.
Great value for my money and nice facilities.
Gorgeous decor and incredibly friendly and helpful staff - they were so good to us! We arrived well before the check in time started and they were still able to get us settled in to our room within minutes. For some reason, we were put in a room with two single beds? But honestly, we were so jet lagged it didn't really matter. The beds were VERY comfortable as well.
Very enjoyable. I think that a separate shower cubicle should be provided rather than having the shower as part of the bath. The older clients, possible with arthritic joints, could find stepping in and out of the bath a shade uncomfortable.
The pillows were a little thin.
the design, layout, view from the room and the comfort made the stay relaxing.
The bed was lovely, the room spotless and the staff helpful to a fault. Harry's bar was also a lovely place to sit outside and relax with a drink. The view could've been a little better. Paid for a view of the canal but got a room overlooking the glass roof over the forecourt and could barely see the canal.
Very good for my taste. The breakfast was wonderfull and had almost everyting. It had a very good bar (live music) for the night. I believe internet access should be free. TV should have more channels in english.
Very good breakfast and really good beds
Wi fi charged additional
Service and bar Internet is way way over priced, even for a business guy whose company pay for it
Nice warm feeling around hotel little bit far from city centre taxis extra cost
I have stayed at the Grand Hotel Esplanade since it was built and it has maintained a high quality product; all rooms are comfortable and the staff is very supportive. The 100 bus stops a block away and will take you to touist destinations, get a transit pass at the train station to cover the days you will be going around. Although the hotel has enlarged the gym, it did so in removing some of the amenities such as the aroma therapy room, the juice, etc. bar, and the pool was too cold this trip. I also miss the frendly and delicious rstaurants that were previously available. Nevertheless, I would likely opt to stay there again.
Bedroom was excellent, good size, nice decor, great TV. Athmosphere in lobby area was buzzing.
Excellent front desk service - Tip on a very good restaurant - Sant Moritz
H2 hotel fully booked on arrival, upgraded to Ramada next door, so this review relates to the Ramada.
The hotel was great - the staff was friendly and helpful, breakfast was good, the rooms were remarcably clean. We liked the concept of the hotel.
Comfort and security.
Finding the hotel and parking Goggle maps has wrong location of hotel
Cleanliness, location Resturant was not a good value
Great location, great room, great breakfast... Not enough time to use the gym and the swimming pool...
A geat Hotel close to Brandenberg Gate and Check Point Charlie Rooms was the best comfortable and the bathroom was the best facility that I have ever seen. Food was great will go back again in time for the Kris Kindle Mart in the end of November. Greg Greenwood ECC
Nice location, just 2min.walk to the subway station. And we could see the Brandenburger gate and the parliament from the street in front of the hotel. Room was large enough to relax and very clean. The receptionist was so kind and gave much information about Berlin. Nothing.
I had access to the executive suite which was incredible. The shower was amazing and the TV was very nice. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We felt right at home.
Location, facilities The rooms were not cleaned weel. Children's menu: quite poor including quality of food.
We were waiting for check in and check out one hour. It is not possible in 5 star hotel, staff in the kitchen was not friendly,
Great position, excellent breakfast buffet, friendly staff
Excellent location for a citytrip, near Potsdamer Platz not far from the Brandenburger Tor and the Reichstag.
This Marriott is like the hundreds of Marriotts, nothing special. Reikstag is 10 min walk, the main shopping area is 15 min by car. Rooms have lots of space, big windows, comfortable beds.
Comfort staying in the most important part of the city
Staff was amazing, wellness center beautiful Restaurants are fairly expensive
quality of breakfast quality of room service
Location at Pottsdamer Platz is excellent; next to the former wall, and well located for easy access to most points in the city. Checking in on Sunday morning after a flight from the US, tends to be iffy, however, the Ritz had a room waiting for me, and were expecting me. The hotel interior is beautiful. Rooms are well appointed, large, especially for European standards, and very quiet. The bar and restaurant was excellent. Only quibble I had was with the gym: small, smelled, and illequiped.
Absolutely fabulously decorated, marvelous rooms..ranks with the best in which I have stayed, and I have stayed in nice hotels. love the heated bathroom floors. Wish it were on k'dam...but for tourist attractions, it is in a better location.
We were very impressed with this hotel--our room was well-appointed and spacious, the staff was amazingly professional, helpful, and friendly, and the hotel was beautiful and in a perfect location. We stayed on the club level and we really enjoyed the lounge area--the breakfast was delicious and the staff there was particularly wonderful. We would recommend the Ritz-Carlton Berlin to anyone. We thought the internet access was way overpriced. It was available in the club level, but not as wifi--you could only use their computers. We paid enough for the room and parking--on the club level I think internet should be included or at least wifi available in the lounge.
Staff were "over the top" good. Club level had an added cost.
Excelent club floor facilitioes( club lounge)
From the moment I arrived I was greeted warmly and treated like a valued guest. The service in all areas of the hotel was the best I have experienced at any hotel. The rooms are beautifully updated with very well appointed bathrooms. Entertained clients on three occasions at the Curtain Club. Could not have asked for better service. Nicholas in the Curtain Club should be commended for a job well done. This will certainly be my go to hotel in Berlin for future stays. Not a thing.
Very attentive and helpful staff in a beautiful facility. Chocolate Day special event was wonderful. The room was very nice but not warm enough. Hot chestnuts as pocket warmers are a nice touch. The heating system was not adequate for the cold weather and we had one whole day with no hot water. Breakfast is pricey.
Everything. The room and meeting facilities were excellent. Nothing (well, besides the weather).
The quality of the rooms is second to none. The staff were polite and friendly. The lounge area with comfortable armchair seating and a fire was an excellent place to relax after a day's shopping. There were obviously high security guests staying and we had to walk a long way around to get back to the hotel as all the streets were cordoned off - as well as being scanned before entering. Having to explain to the police that we were staying there and had to go through was not straight forward and felt intimidating. Perhaps if we had been given some form of id other than the room key to show it would have been easier.
Location, rooms, TV screen, friendly, efficient staff Breakfast, while good, is overpriced. They should just make all rooms €15 per person per night more expensive, make breakfast inclusive, and charge the outlandish rate for non-guests. Oh, and put back roast potatoes into the breakfast menu! For those of us with cholesterol issues, all the eggs, cheese and sausages are useless, and make breakfast devoid of anything hot other than tea or coffee.
The value for money is excellent, the staff is very friendly and helpful, They should decorate the walls in the rooms, and paint walls white instead of having green walls....
Very nice breakfast! The only bad points is that the we couldn't open the window.
Convenience of the train station and city to the hotel was great. The rooms were very modern and although small, had everything needed and very clean. Breakfasts are good value. Because it is a large hotel used by many student/travel groups, the breakfdast room traffic can become very noisy and crowded; however, it is well managed.
Polite Staff, clean room, very close to the train station. Very small room, no closet, no refrigarator.
The pillows were very comfortable. Wifi was not accessible in the rooms, only in the hotel lobby.
It seemed like a concrete pill box with a couple of beds. Much too expensive for what it offered.
The hotel has a graet location just near the Hauptbahnhof- very convienient for any purposes in Berlin. Nice view from the window.Nice staff and professional drink bar downstairs.
The location was really excellent, right next to the main train station which made it so easy for arriving/departing and exploring the city. Rooms were really clean and breakfast wasn't too bad for the price. The beds were very narrow and the pillows were all lumpy. I needed an iron and they couldn't find the only iron in the whole place because someone had removed it from the kitchen but no real effort was made to find it.
Location (really close to main rail station), good value for money, great breakfast (for EUR 5,50) Quite noise due to night life, room was smelling ( after we opened the windows during 1 day it was OK)
that it was pretty close to everything and that it was exactly next to hauptbanhof and you could walk to reichstag & all this beautiful place near bradenburg gate there wasn't anything i didn't like, but i'd want more variety in the breakfast.
