Excellent service, warm people, clean, excellent breakfast, near the center but far from the noise, good facilities. The rooms that are in the back have a view to an empty yard. Better insist on the pool view. no sea view.
Very friendly and attentive stuff, good food, well locatet and cool rooms!!! We enjooyed our stay very much. K̄hxbkhuṇ kan to the entire crew!
Peace & Quite away from crowds rest & relax Low season too far away to walk at night . Plenty of mosquitoes and . Lack of Manganement and Maintenence as the hotel do have Great Potential. With some upgrading better Management with Hosiptaility Services this Hotel will Have fantastic potential.
Hotel is walking distance from the main strip in Ao Nang.Nice pools.Montra Spa was relaxing. Hotel is tired and run-down..it needs to be re-furbished badly!Hotel is surrounded by construction work right now...maybe the situation will improve after six months!Breakfast choice..very poor!
Room size, view from 6th floor, staff & the pool Breakfast is terrible, poolside bar closed, disappointed with building work below our suites
Superior room clean and comfortable; good swimming pools (3 with different size). Be careful, you have to know that there is a building site just in front of the hotel and you have a wonderful view on it from the balcony. Very noisy but actually it was not that annoying given that we were out the whole day. From the swimming pool, you can slightly hear the noise.
Beautiful hotel in the tropical forest with marvellous beach and sea -- like a paradise, excellent service and very comfortable rooms. We liked all, everything. Guys in the beach are very attentive. Bellini restaurant as well as Lotus serve very good food. Mind-relaxing massage in spa is amazing! Would be nice to have manicure in spa. One free shuttle to Ao Nang at 4 pm might be not enough.
Hotel is very beautiful and room is very clean Location is far away from the town. Breadfast has not too much choices.
Amazing boutique hotel. Friendly staff. Service with a smile. Breakfast was good but not fantastic. And would prefer a flat screen tv in the room.
Staff and facilities were great. Can reccommend the thai cooking course at the resort!
Very nice settings and surrounding that generate a very nice view at the sea and islands. The food And drinks are of good quality
Friendly staff, great with our young kids, good service at the restaurants and the food was quite good. Amazing breakfast buffet. Loved the toy box for kids by the kiddie pool. Great view of the ocean and sea stacks from the beach. Happy hour at the Sunset Lounge is a great deal! Good wifi for free. Property is a little dated, could use a remodel soon. Rooms smelled slightly mildewy. The location is a little secluded, so for day trips you have to take a taxi to Ao Nang pier, about 20 minutes (and $3USD per person each way), then a long tail boat from there. The pool seems a little corroded. There were stone seats in the pool that were too rough to sit on because of corrosion. The elephant fountains at the pool weren't working. Pool chairs are VERY close together and there aren't many so you have to scramble to get one. Would have liked a free taxi from the airport. As it was, the hotel was going to charge more than a regular taxi, so we opted to hire our own driver from the airport.
most hospitable staff that i have come across anywhere and a view of the sea out of this world
The private beach and exclusiveness of the hotel but that also mean it's pretty far from other F&B outlets, town etc. As above
Friendly staff, hotel clean, close to the beach, good restaurants, it really was 5 star. The hotel is fairly quite and a little way out but they do run a shuttle service to other towns.
the calmness and the beautiful nature the mosquitos
This hotel offered the utmost relaxation. It's location is secluded and perfect for people (like us) who wanted to get away from it all. The staff were very attentive and friendly. They offered personalized service. Nothing.
The hotel is located in a secluded area far from everything, so if you want to get away from it all, then this is the place. The restaurant is fantastic and probably the best buffets (breakfeast and dinner) we had on our entire 5 week trip to Thailand. The semi private beach is great and good for swimming with kids as well. When tired of the sea, then the pool is also a great alternative. Great and very attentive staff. Mosquitos! We were travelling with 3 children and the smallest was 6 months, and the mosquitos made it impossible for us to stay outside in the open air living room (which is very cool by the way), so when in the rooom, we had to stay inside the bedroom which was too much when staying there for many days.
Preety great but too expensive for the value. Well, its Ko Phi Phi, but still....
The rooms were large and comfortable, although ours sometimes you could get a slight smell from the drains outside. The staff looked bored most of the time and not interested apart from the bell boys and cleaners who were friendly. Parts of the Hotel very dated, with the general areas and poll area just concrete (no green gardens etc). Many things annoyed me about the Management of this Hotel.
Wonderful staff, very clean and well kept resort. Food and drinks were expensive for Thailand, but the town is a few minutes walk away for a cheaper night out with lots of variety.
Idyllic location, child friendly, great staff, excellent cuisine well priced. Could do with its own peir and speedboat option instead of the longtail boat especially for transfers.
I would hate to say too many things about this resort because I don't want to see it get too busy. It is phenomenal though. The staff are super friendly and very eager to please. There is no air conditioning in the rooms since you have your own open air hut, but with ceiling fans and the cool shade of palm trees the temperature was perfect. If you'd like an open air, hidden, exclusive, high end resort this is the place for you. The only thing I was not aware of is that I should have planned our flights to arrive in Phuket by 2-3pm local time. That way I would have had enough time to take a taxi to the pier and catch the ferry to the island. We stayed in Phuket which was nice and caught the first ferry the next morning. Well worth the wait.
From welcome off the boat to departure it was a wonderful experience. The view is breathtakingly beautiful, the villas are fun + close to nature and the staff is charming. The massages are heavenly - so once adapted that there is no aircon to sleep, this is heaven on earth. Nothing negative to say.
Great place to relax and within easy reach of beautiful un-inhabited islands.
This is a very unique place for taking a break from everything. We have never experienced such a beautiful resort before. The villas are open and very nicely decorated. You fall asleep with the sound of the sea and nature and you wake up with the same. That's fantastic. The view is breathtaking. It was a pity that we only stayed three nights but we will definitely come back.
Our stay here was heaven on earth. The staff was helpfull and friendly. You could take the bikes for free which was a great opportunity to explore the island. The houses had a lot of privacy and the fan was sufficient to lower the heat during the night. Great place to stay and we recommend it to everyone... If we have some remarks it will be the prices for the sodas/drinks, double prices comapared with all the other accommadations in which we stayed during our trip. Also the prices for the day trips arranged by the resort are overpriced. In case you arrange day trips by the locals in their boats visiting the surrond islands etc.you save up 80%! Going to Krabi you can save a lot of money in case you take the local ferry ( 100 BTH instead of 500 BTH a person). In the harbor of Krabi a local bus is waiting for you, take this one and you again save up 75%!
Wonderful hotel, beautiful location. One of the best hotel we have stayed in Thailand. The staff is very kind and the tours are very well organised. We'll definitively go there again.
From the villa we had a beautiful view of the beach and surrounding waters and very colorful sunrises The food was average at best and mosquitos were a real problem
relaxed ate rode bikes swam pampered and enjoyed everything
The setting was remarkably beautiful, and the resort was quiet and well maintained. The beach is in a particularly nice location -- probably the best along that strip. Rooms were comfortable in general, and the beds quite nice. I also liked the outdoor showers. The motorbikes available were fun, and very reasonably priced. The food was bland and preparation not as interesting as it could be. Perhaps a more limited -- but more flavorful -- menu would be possible. Lighting in the bedrooms could be better (for reading), and an option for air conditioning in some rooms might be helpful. Help with travel arrangements -- especially given the location-- could be better, and the price quoted seemed prohibitive (4 times our actual cost when we arranged it ourself).
Good location, friendly staff. Unfortunately there is construction nearby which causes minor inconvenience getting into the resort.
The hotel was very near to the shopping and eating outlets. It was walking distance to the beach. The workers were very helpful and friendly. The air-con did not work well on our arrival so the reception was informed about it, but when we returned after our dinner, it was a pleasant surprise to feel the air-con running well and happily.
Great little villa with access to the pool, perfect for us with a 6 month old baby.
villas were very big and nice hot water in the shower was hard to come by
Breakfast was tasty and had a reasonable selection - Although the fresh milk and yoghurt should be kept ice-cold rather than left in the open room temperature. Nice pool esp for children. Room was clean, huge bath tub and comfy bed. The construction work was quite disturbing and noisy esp since I have asthma.
Location The hotel billed my mastercard immidiately when doing the reservation at Booking.com, problems with the hot water at the room (repairman came 2 times, not fixing it. We tried to change room to no avail), a lot of constant repairement noise from the hotel repairing work (no resting at day time at this hotel). Awful experience.
Location, garden, secllusion, privacy. Bungalows spred accross the hill, hard to climb up in this weather.
Accomodation was good and the location both with respect to Ao Nang town and the beach was good - ie close to both The service was pretty bad and the hotel staff were petty about the smallest of things. The Breakfast was not up to the standard you'd expect from a hotel of this calibre - the bare mimimum was provided. Yes, eggs were cooked to order (typical for a hotel like this), but there were no beans, mushrooms, tomatoes, hash browns, waffles - basic stuff really. This sort of penny pinching feel seemed to cut across most aspects of the running of the hotel.
good location in a highly recommended area. Standard Bungalows are ok if you are looking for a natural environment and you don't mind about insects, monkeys and other noisy/annoying animals. breakfast is not areal buffet. Just offering coffee/tea, toasts, watermelon, melon, eggs, sausage and nooddless
Fantastic area, friendly personnel
The staff was very friendly, the rooms were cleaned every day with perfection. The hotel is located near everything you could possibly do. The pool service was very fast and on point. Breakfast was not bad in comparison to other hotels. Recommend the french toast. Air con needs to point higher, It was directly on us and as a result we got a bit sick on our second day.
Location was excellent, in the middle of shops, opposite the beach. Price can be bargin down a bit. Pool was a welcome facility to cool down. Not enough towels at poolside. Attendant does not replenish enough ... disappears after certain time in afternoon. No hot water at times, like in the night .. as though hotel switches off after certain time.
nearby shopping area, easy to get HALAL food, lots of muslim in Krabi, good surroundings, lots of spa nearby internet connection was expensive 30 min for 100baht, not free, because it was raining season, reserved for a standard bungalow nearer to the beach instead got a room nearby the swimming pool. The reason i reserve a room there was to get a room nearby the beach. Hotel needs to refurbish, quite old.
The hotel was very clean and the facilities are so good
Proximity to the beach, restaurants and shopping area None
Hotel has got a very good location, bugalows are located within great garden and hotel has also their own beach, city center is just behind the corner with the great access to shops, bars and restaurants Bungalows are very basic, not relevant to the price. Breakfast was the same for all 7 days of our stay - though food was OK. Lack of attractions for kids. In summery I would expect a bit better standard for this price but in general hotel is worth further recommendations for families without kids.
The staff at the hotel were great and they upgraded us when we had noisy neighbours. tHE location is fabulous. THE hotel is quite run down in parts. tHERE was quite dodgy electrics - wires hanging out in the garden etc and the plumbing was ordinary. tHE toilets in both rooms smelled constantly and there were open drains besides the COTTAGES.iT could be a fabulous place with a bit of upgrading. I have marked that I would not recommend - but I probably would suggest it's a great location but to be careful about which rooms you book.
excellent hotel, big rooms and good breakfast, location was excellent.
Most stuff is very helpfull. Isolated area, too far from noise. Pool is so nice. Sometimes stuff forgot request, such as landry, housekeeping and so on. I ordered landry service, but could not receive by reminder. So, service is not so fast. Our bill was confused, there are many mistake. Must need to check slips. It's a Thailand.
The location was quiet and secluded
Loved the hotel and rooms but pity bout location Very poor location
Good hospitality, nice room and superb view Not suitable to swim at the beach, no iron or ironing service, expensive restaurant.
Very helpful and polite staff. Wonderful accommodation.
Having my dinner with sunset view.
Friendly and helpful hotel staff. Location is remote and beach is not clean for swimming.
Quiet, hi-speed of Wi-fi Far from City
How quiet it was The renovations that were being carried out
Enviroment No kettle and coffee tea facilities
jogging in the morning around the lake 1- service 2- too expensive 3- the hotel is bloody old and you definitely see that 4- the gym is a shame
Very nice location, quiet and peaceful. Maybe location also on this box. Getting to town requires transportation.
Thé natural environment
Friendly staff. Had early morning flight and they prepared breakfast for us. Reallly touched.
Lost among trees this is a very cool place to stay in harmony with nature. Away from noisy city type environment. Great place to relax and enjoy nature. Hotel facilities are great: swimming pool, gymnasium, spa Being a muslim it was impossible to find halal meat dishes. Pork was omnipresent. At least a muslim section should be made available as many great hotels in thailand e.g. baiyork sky. Restaurant staff was not even aware what the word "halal food" means.
Near walking street. Just 10-15 min to airport and 10 min to Klong Jirad pier for Phi Phi island. Amenities in room still not neatly arrange and cleanliness need to be improve.
Some of their staffs are bad temper, even you launch complain as a customer, but they still show you their temper. Off course some is good and friendly staff. Hotel is more like resort as its name, but I think they need to improve their maintenance especially their wiring and electrical side. From their hotel, it is hard to access to out side. Especially to Krabi town or Au Nang town, only way is taxi and it is not economic. Their breakfast buffet is really out!
View from room is good. Shower is too weak and location is far from Krabi town.
The resort was absolutely beautiful! I can't say enough about how friendly the staff were too. Our room was very nice, with a view of the ocean where we could watch the sunset every night. The pool area is great, as is the beach. Highly recommend this resort for a great place to relax and rejuvenate! The food was quite pricey. The buffet is well worth it but the quality/portion sizes of the pool-side food were not worth the price.
