The setting was beautiful. The pool was rated by MSN as one of the ten best pool settings in the world, I would agree. The morning buffet was excellent and the suite was very nice with a great pool view. Upon arrival, we upgraded to a suite. The suite was excellent except for the air conditioner. It was adequate but the weather was hot and the A/C never delivered the crisp coolness and dry air that I expected. I asked for maintenance to check it and the man said it was operating fine. We enjoyed our visit and will return if possible, I hope the A/C system is upgraded.
Fabulous elephant camp! Wonderful swimming pool and lovely peaceful location. Little expensive & should have free WiFi in all rooms
It was our honeymoon and we got a very nice and big cake! View on the golden triangle from out of our room, very very very nice located!!! We stayed here one night, good hotel but in the lowest of the low season nothing to do in the hotel as well as in the village. We wanted to visit the golden triangle and Laos island at the other side of the river but this is also very good possible by daytrip from Chiang Mai.
There was a swimming pool, which was ok and a table tennis table which we enjoyed. Breakfast buffet ok; other services not used. No Internet in the room and 1 station at reception for a charge (this is not how it works in 2009); breakfast buffet okish, but not really great.
Boring..! Don't even have entertainment during our stay at night..what is the use if you have the lounge and massage center but not operating at all ? the meal we had is rather expensive !!
The situation just infront of the golden triangle. Great views. Old fashioned
great location, comfortable rooms though a little tired
next to the golden triangle no moscito nets and in the restaurant no proper english speaking staff
superior location, ideal for 1 or two days relaxation, unforgetable views,I highly recomend this hotel for a stop over for those intending to travel Chiang Rai -Golden Triangle
An interesting and wonderfull spot on the border of Thailand, Burma and Laos.We stayed there for one night to visit the golden triangle.
