Ideal for a small family to enjoy Disney without paying the cost of being on site. Sleeping in is hard with everyone leaving to make park open all at the same time.
Walking distance to Disney Not breakfast complementary no microwave in the rooms
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Clean rooms, comfortable beds. Easy walking distance to Disneyland. There was a hotel being built right next door, which meant waking up to construction early every morning. It sounded like there was hammering right outside our window. However, this wasn't the hotel's fault, just an annoying coincidence. Overall it was a great place to stay.
The location was great for getting to the Disney parks. The hotel was a 10 minute walk from my hotel room door to the park gates. There are many restaurants within walking distance.
great for disneyland adventure
Friendly staff, clean room, wonderfully comfortable beds. Also the availability of computers and printer for return flight booking passes
How close it was to Disneyland, Disney California and Downtown Disney. Right across the street from the park entrance. Spacious room, comfortable beds, blackout drapes,
Location to Disneyland, Clean updated rooms. Clean towels everyday, You now have to pay for parking and it was not stated on line. You have to pay for some things at the contental breakfast. If paying ...not great choices either.
Location and cleanless and overall design has an iverall good feeling Just better the complimentary breakfeast its really not that good just donuts and cofee or orange juice. And the hidden fees once you get there you would have thought hotel included free parking but charged 9 plus tax and checking in early additional days parking
Highly recommended, just across Disney street. Large room with fridge, quiet, clean ... excellent The breakfast: have to pay for milk and cereal!
Location It was dirty, full of bugs and needs some serious renovating.
I liked that it was very close to downtown disney and the convention center. We didn't even need a car. We put our please service sign out at about 7:00am and came back at 2:00pm and the room still wasn't ready. They didn't stop by until about 3:30 which I think is a little too long. I wish you also had a vending machine for when the grocery store is closed. Coming from a different time zone it was hard to get a quick snack.
Local and clean
Close to Disneyland and restaurants. Safe in room. Towels nice and thick. Clean rooms and property. Handy store. Just barely enough parking spaces, and it costs $9 per day. Store items a bit pricey.
We stayed here since we couldn't get into (what used to be) our favorite place a few doors down. From the second we got there everything was pleasent and clean. The front desk got us sorted out quick, which was much appreciated as we had just spent 10 hours on a small motorcycle, and our room was nice and quiet. I had read some other reviews about the "outrageous" parking fee which turned out to be $9 a night which didn't bother me. They have valet, but you don't have to use them if you don't want to. They sell 2-5 day park hopper tickets right there for the same price as the gate so I didn't have to wait at the line for tickets which was great!!! There is a small attached cafe which sells the typical Starbucks-ish fare and has some grocery items and souvineers as well. The walk to the park is almost the closest walk you could have, only one hotel closer. If you are still awake after your day at Disneyland there are plenty of channels on the TV, and they are clear. Overall we had a great expirience and this will be our first choice on future visits. I really don't have any complaints. Some will complain about the parking rate, but as far as I can tell everyone is charging about the same so to me it was a non-issue.
Incredibly clean room on the first floor (of 2). We were there for 5 days, and originally we thought we'd only be there at night after full days at Disney. We ended up coming back each day for about an hour or two during the hottest part of the day (and to avoid some crowds!). A small fridge to keep things cool, the bed was very comphy, a lot of pillows to choose from. Some other guests would slam the doors occasionally, but nothing the hotel can really do about that. We didn't have a car so didn't have to worry about parking. Looked like there was plenty of room, slots were probably a little closer together than my car would've like but that's just me being a little picky. It is litterally 100 yards from the Disney tickets stands, or you can buy in the lobby. Service was pretty quick checking in and out. The little shop has a bunch of travel items and small snacky items and plenty to drink. Pretty much anything a traveler would need. Only problem, and this is really minor, is that the toilet would slip occasionally and not fill the tank in order to flush again. Simple fix, just take off the top and push down on the pump thing, works good. No other problems with our stay!
its availability to my needs without going far
Close to disneyland
Room cleanliness. Pool near Disneyland Everything was great
I love how close this hotel is to Disneyland resort. Sure it's not on DLR property, but It is probably the same walking distance from the parks to this hotel as it is to the on property hotels. The family suite was comfy and spacious. We would definitely stay here again. Parking/Valet fee, but it's cheaper than what Disney charges!
Proximity to Disneyland can hardly be beat. Standard rooms are decent sized, modern enough amenities. Rooms were clean and housekeeping did a nice job. Friendly front desk and valet, always saying hello. Would DEFINITELY consider staying here again, especially with a decent rate. Not exactly a bargain price, but you're paying to be so close to Disneyland. The surface of the pool deck was a little dingey, but the pool and hottub were both nice enough and in a great spot for viewing the fireworks.
Staff were very friendly and rooms are very clean. They had the room ready quickly. I did not like to parking charge. I think parking should me included in the hotel service
Great value for the price. About 1 1/2 miles from Disneyland entrance. A few restaurants within walking distance You have to pay for parking
Comfortable and close to Disneyland. The pool didn't open until 9, which means we couldn't use i, because by that time we had to be ready for the park. My kids were up at 6:30 and wanted to swim before Disneyland. It was very disappointing for them and we pretty much has nothing to do for several hours.
I like the proximity to Disneyland, the security of the hotel and the cleanliness of the room. On the first day of my stay the person that cleaned my room had and artistic side. Whoever the person was made flowers with washcloths and hand towels plus the facial and toilet tissue, it was really cute and showed that the person took time to care about my stay in the hotel. I have stayed at this hotel numerous times and would do so again...Also has a spectacular view of the Disneyland fireworks at night. I was unhappy that I received a handicap accessible bathroom. I am not handicapped nor do I need a special shower. The shower head was detachable but low for wheelchair accessibility and I didn't have the ability to switch to the appropriate height shower head with was in place. I felt the room should have been reserved for someone that needed the assistance. I was also unhappy with the maid service on the second day of my stay...my personal products were moved about in the shower and I do not feel comfortable with strangers handling my products and moving them to a location more convenient for the person cleaning the shower this also occurred on the third day.
Room size. Pool. Cleanliness. Friendly, thorough housekeeping. Great shower head Cable channel system. No refill on sweeter and creamer for coffee on second morning.
Parking very convienent and We liked the fact that the room had a refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. Concierge and parking attendants were excellent. Keep up the great work.
Very clean and large room. Very close walking distance to Disneyland. Very quiet.
Great location Small room for our two girls and us.
Breakfast was great. Closeness to Disneyland and how quite the room was.
Location Pillows, bedding
The location was great, The staff friendly and the rooms clean. We were able to get adjoining rooms as we traveled with kids and grand kids. restaurants near by made the adventure less of a hassle. The rooms are a little cramped and no microwave or refrigerator. however very nice location We would recommend and will stay again next time we travel to Disneyland.
The only good thing about this place is that it is directly across from Disney resorts. Had to pay $20 for parking( for 2 nights), did not offer breakfast like advertised. No one told us, we had to read a small note in the room that "breakfast" was a grab bag of sausage sandwich( that had to be microwaved in your own room), granola bar, an apple, & orange juice. We went to the Starbucks down the street & got yogurt, fruit cup & oatmeal( they didn't add water to it & we just added hot water to it later). You are just paying for conveince with this hotel.
Very, very nice room! Well appointed in every aspect! Twin bunk beds were a huge hit with the kids! Bathroom was absolutely ideal for family with kids- 2 sinks in central area, 1 room with huge walk in shower, 1 area on opposite side of bathroom with tub and shower combo. Getting ready in morning was SO much faster and much less hassle. Parking garage was so neat and clean, valet and bell staff helpful and incredibly courteous. Overall- just as nice or better than official Disney hotels and within a quick walk to the gates of the park. This trip we stayed 1 night here, a couple nights at a Disney hotel...our kids like marriott better. Very high priced
Staff was extremely friendly all the way around. Room was very comfortable. Breakfast was ok not great. Very good overall experience A little bit of a walk from Disney
Close to Disneyland and nice restaurants! Clean, good price. Breakfast horrible, same food every morning, having to wait to refill breakfast! Pool was down do to reconstruction. Elevators took for ever only one was working. No gift shop.
We were upgraded after they made a mistake with our room. We ended up with a nice 2br suite the fact that they tried to place us in a smaller room then we had paid for in the first place.
Location! Location! Location! Staff were attentive to our needs. Our sink and toilet started spewing up some gnarly purple and black gunk and whent we called plumbing to have it fixed, they came right away! The pizza press is a good quick fast food pizza place with excellent taps! You have to pay for wifi and parking. They should be included in your stay for the price you pay. for as much that you pay for the daily parking rate and wifi, you might as well stay at the marriott two doors down. It is more updated and clean.
Location is great. Right across the street from Disneyland and easy to get to. The room was reasonably large and the beds were comfortable. The price was also pretty good for the area. The staff was friendly and approachable. Cleanliness and maintenance are less than ideal. When we arrived there was plentiful hair to be found on the sheets and pillow cases. There was gum on the nightstand. The clock didn't work (who cares, everyone uses their phone). This hotel just needs a little more attention to detail and it will be a great place to stay.
It was a quick walk to Disneyland. Not very clean and had a pair of shoes taken from the room. They did not clean our room the first day there and when I let them know the next day it was cleaned and a pair of new shoes where taken. We had to pay an incidental fee for things that where not even in the room. It was refunded but I thought it was senseless that they would charge you for stuff that you can not even use.
Hotel is amazingly close to Disneyland. It was perfect for our family vacation. Hotel is great value for the price, but would like better bedding.
It was very close to Disneyland, the staff was very helpful and polite. This has to be the first time I had to valet my car in a motel. They made it very inconvenient to hop in my car and get around.
Location with regard to the main entrance to Disneyland is great. At the end of the day, the price is good and the hotel is what it is (keep in mind the price). Valet parking is only good until 2 PM the next day, so if you are planning on going to Disneyland the next day, you end up having to pay for parking for 2 days. Also, Valet parking is the only option you have there, no self parking.
Location. Rooms were small. Air Conditioner was loud. Parking for $15/day and resort fee of $5/day which were not mentioned or included when I booked the room.
hotel was very close to the entrance to disneyland for easy walking to park. and the "pizza press" had the best pizza ever! we ate it every night and the price was great! our room was clean and comfortable. the rooftop pool was nice and had a great view of the fireworks every night. didn't like the valet parking. next time i will bring an extra car key so i can easily access my car.
The carousel hotel was a perfect location for families that plan on spending most of their time at the park. the staff was nice the facilities were clean And the price was the best on S. Harbor. The $14 for parking seemed excessive especially since the site said parking was free.
Staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. The location was great, right in the middle of restaurants and Disney land.
The outside noise was infiltrating the room. Needed the AC to run to block it out
The room was clean and priced well. But the staff was not very helpful or nice when it came to answering questions. I'm sure they get asked alot of the same questions being next to Disneyland. Suck it up and be more hospitable.
It was nice and quiet.
The location is the best, walked right across to the Disneyland entrance. It also has tons of places around to eat. The price is amazing. The breakfast was boxed donuts and waffles, toast, and 2 options for cereal. The coffee was gross and the breakfast area was small and messy. The rooms are small and outdated but I did notice they were upgrading some of the rooms, so maybe our room just has not been upgraded.
We were very pleased with the proximity to the Disneyland parks. The front desk staff were most helpful, especially the gentleman at check in. Very basic but the bathtub was spotless. The elephant shaped towels were a pleasant surprise for our 8 year old not to mention the adults. As we are not early risers and had a 6 week old infant with us, we were quite annoyed at the loud wheels on the dirty linen carts rolling across the upstairs hallway. May we suggest you put soft rubber wheels on the carts for less annoying noise so early in the morning.
Clean and affordable. Really close to disney which was where we were going. The walls are really thin so you could hear a baby crying 2 doors down or a couple at like 3 in the morning. Plus the valet system kinda sucks for parking.
Easy to find, close to Disneyland (across the street) Gidd value for a family budget, clean rooms. Nice staff friendly and helpful. Breakfeast needs more variety.
I loved that it was right next to Denny's and across the street from theme parks. That I had to pay $10 for parking!
The rooms were nicely appointed, continental breakfast was actually tasty. Across the street from Disneyland. The parking here is a complete nightmare. There are only about 30 parking spaces for a hotel that has a hundred rooms. You have to show up at the right time and hope you even get a parking space. If not then you have to "valet" you're car. Which is basically some guy that has to move your car around every time someone has to leave. Because they're going to use your car and anyone else that valet to block the other cars in. I really like my car, and I spent or whole trip worrying that it was going to get damaged because of how small the parking area is. We will never be staying here again.
