When the cabin lights are ON, the crew is hustling to keep the passengers occupied and chewing. Free Beer, Wine and mixed drinks in Coach! Every Service - Snack, Drinks, Lunch, Dinner, Coffee/Tea, Second and Third rounds of drinks includes a cold towel to wipe your face and hands and most important, trash is collected promptly EVERY single time. WOW. I noticed that Flight Attendants take notes on sleeping passengers for every major meal service, and they take the time to revisit those customers when awake to check they might have wanted to be fed. I also noticed that the crew has special double sided tape to pickup crumbs and spills in the aisles so grime is not tracked into the carpet. Dont be surprized to see a flight attendant cruising the aisle after dinner with a soft cooler full of small vanilla Hagen Daz cups..."
ข้อเสีย: "We flew from Bangkok to Washington Dulles with a connection in Tokyo. Snow in Japan caused crew shifts to max out and ultimately a dramatic change in flight departure. (Guaranteeing a missed connection) This caused multiple downstream challenges. 1. Original flight was scheduled for 00:30. (Half Past Midnight), rescheduled flight was scheduled for 12:30 (Half Past Noon) For Americans unused to a 24 hour clock, this made emails From ANA very difficult to wrap your mind around. Was it a typo? What happens when you miss your connection? (Turns out weather delays do NOT result in accommodations or meals being provided) Rescheduled flight should have been for 1231 with (AM/PM in Parentheses) 2. For passengers who spent their vacation/trip near the equator, the prospect of spending the night in snowbound Tokyo was simply not addressed in the cancellation email. The better option was to stay in your original point of origin and make the connection in one day, but email has NO telephone number for passengers to call to make these arrangements. (We ended up calling a toll California telephone number to be sure we got an English speaking agent) 3. Many SE Asian departing cities have a crazy baggage weight policy that allows for Two bags of 25 Kilos each , but if you have a single bag that weights 32 Kilos, you must pay excess baggage. Although the policy may NOT be specific to ANA, there are hundreds of folks of all nationalities repacking suitcases on the floor of the airport, to try to meet the regulations. As a traveler I understand this, but as an ANA customer it makes no sense, especially when the ticket agent cannot charge the overage to a credit card at the ticket counter. Instead sending you to a different location then waiting for you to return with a receipt. Its a huge scam and ANA can do better communicating the rules to passengers via email or their web site. Nothing starts a long trip off worse than arguments over arcane rules. 4. Changing a return flight arrangement as a result of weather happens at the last moment, but seat assignments apparently could not keep up. I would rather NOT fly than face a center seat in coach for 14 hours. I cannot explain what happened, but repeated attempts at advance check in showed NO assigned seats available, the ticket and gate agents could not improve on this, but BOTH flights ended up having empty seats and in the end we stressed for nothing. ANA must be able to do better, improving their IT systems to make advance seat assignments possible no matter how challenging the problem of "equipment" and other changes in the face of a canceled flight."

ข้อเสีย: "My seat back screen was inoperable. I had other stuff to do, so not a problem although I would have liked having music and movie options. Oh well... In other news, AA’s morning food options are incredibly lame. It’s almost as if they don’t want to sell any food. Finally, can come one tell me where to buy stock in those mediocre little Biscotti cookies they (and every other airline) pass out for free? Must be KILLING it!"

ข้อเสีย: "God knows how long we sat in the plane on the tarmac. I fell asleep! Totally missed my tour at the Airplane boneyard as a consequence. Way to go AA. You truly suck!"

ข้อดี: "Not a lot. Entertainment options on board were decent. Food was alright."
ข้อเสีย: "Everything! Crew were terse, rude and inattentive. Due to an issue with a bag on board without the associated passenger we had to taxi back to the stand for it to be removed before we could take off. This cost us an hours delay. There was limited apologies for this, no refreshments provided during the wait and poor communication of this. During the flight the staff were inattentive and sparing with refreshments. Service generally did not live up to expected level associated with an inter-continents flight. The flight was turbulent but crew and captain seemed over cautious with it and crew had to remain seated unnecessarily at times and at the detriment of passenger service. One stewardess wouldn’t even let me finish a drink before removing it from my hand claiming we were about to land and she had to sit down because of turbulence. We were still 40 mins from landing at this point! All in all a pretty bad flight, and it’s safe to say I won’t be flying American Airlines again."

ข้อเสีย: "The flight boarded twenty minutes late despite the plane being at the gate early scheduled departure. Baggage took another forty minutes to load. Then they decided there we were overweight (data that should be known before the cargo was loaded) and off loaded two people. Then after another delay they realised that off loading people meant off loading their baggagge, total delay nearly 2 hours The hedset socket on the entertainment system did not work The USB port did not work THey ran out of food after serving three rows, loaded four sandwiches, no wraps and 2 cheese plates for a full evening flight that was over 5 hours in duration including the delays."

ข้อเสีย: "Missed the flight due to poor staff and a delayed landing from my crossover. Given how childish the ground staff were being, I can only assume the flight staff wouldn't be much better."

ข้อเสีย: "Crew could have been much politer when asking about the food wishes of others. Seemed to have no idea how to walk through the aisles, hitting my head and shoulders more than once while walking through."

ข้อเสีย: "Switch planes and make that the one that flies between Phoenix and Orlando...the entertainment cent on the shirt flight with 3 kids was better suited for the long flight"

ข้อเสีย: "That the gate agent didn't put my request to board early seriously. I asked to have early boarding because of an injury and she didn't call me up early to board. I had to do it on my own."

ข้อเสีย: "If you’re used to Main Cabin Extra, you get easily tricked by the red trimmed seats. The gentleman in front of us was. Also, Tucson airport baggage delivery was D- as usual. Slow and only partial regard for priority tags."

ข้อดี: "Loved the interactive headrest system. Games, movies and more. Kept me so busy that the trip seemed like minutes instead of hours. Very comfortable seats!!"
ข้อเสีย: "Tight squeeze down the aisle and heaven forbid you drop something while seated because you pretty much had to put your head on you neighbors lap to get it."

ข้อเสีย: "Freezing cold air conditioning. Every person I could see was wrapped up in their blanket before we had even taken off."

ข้อเสีย: "too little leg room, and quite uncomfortable seats, couldn’t relax and was cramping from being unable to move more than an inch."

ข้อเสีย: "Had to run to gate after two buses to reach correct terminal. Saw info that flight was closing. Held up at gate due to confusion with my boarding pass. Limited leg room on flight. End of flight huge queues at Dallas airport for security. After a long flight a passenger does not need to be corralled through excessively long winding lines."

ข้อดี: "Crew very friendly couldn't be more helpful. Food snacks and drinks good. Very efficient boarding system the best I've encountered."
ข้อเสีย: "Roof mounted tvs a bit disappointing and the films were just repeated. Coffee needs coffee in the cup, it was just milk and water no taste of coffee."

ข้อเสีย: "How can a plane be this cold?? I travel all the time, but I have never experienced this. It seemed like there was a general temp control - apart from the air vents. I had on a sweatshirt and by the end of the flight was sitting on my hands! Couple that with the “I don’t care” attitude of the flight crew, and I was counting the minutes to landing. Definitely not the AA that I’ve given my business to."

ข้อดี: "My flight was fine - I paid for a Premium Seat, which also allowed me a premium boarding position, which I highly recommend for anyone flying. The seat was comfortable, the staff was very friendly and I really liked the in-flight entertainment."
ข้อเสีย: "At the DFW security post for my gate, there was NO TSA-pre. That service stops at 7pm. I would think at a major airport like DFW where American Airlines has a hub, they would make sure to staff that longer. Just getting to keep my shoes on, while having to drag all my electronics and liquids out, take my coat and belt off, etc. is not acceptable. AA should put the pressure on DFW to treat their customers better!"

When I started to experience this I became aware of the same trend in regard communications with other passengers. Very unattractive."

ข้อเสีย: "Terrible parking, had to book a later flight an extra 75.00 for my bag."

ข้อเสีย: "I was traveling with the exact same size suitcase I’ve probably traveled with as a carry on for at least 50 prior flights, and the boarding agent insisted it was too large. I am a very petite woman, and so when I carry a normal size bag, it can look large by comparison to my body. Further, the flight was 1/3 empty and had plenty of overhead space even once the plane was completely boarded. I am sorely offended based on the discrimination I suggested simply because I am short of stature."
