This rambling ranch style home has 3 large bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, two large and open living rooms, a large dining room and an organized and well equipped kitchen. One wing of the home is adjacent to the garage and has a large master bedroom with 2 closets, a king sized bed and a private bathroom with shower. Next to the garage entrance there is a laundry room with front loading washer and dryer and another 1/2 bathroom. From there, you will enter a living room/family room with large screen TV and a gas fireplace to cozy up to on chilly evenings. Next to the family room, you will enter the newly decorated and equipped kitchen. Then, you come to the open concept dining and living room. At the other end of the home there are 2 large bedrooms, one with 3 twin beds and two large closets, another with a queen sized bed. There is also a full bath with bath tub and shower located in this wing of the house. Downstairs there is a large basement, which is open and a great place for children to run around and play. (It is partially finished.) There is an additional refrigerator in the basement if it is needed. Off the family room is a large deck for outside entertaining, including a Weber gas grill. The backyard has a beautiful shady maple tree and is fenced in. This home is located in the new North End of Burlington, which is a little community of its own, really. The Burlington Bike Path is located one block from our house and the neighborhood has its own private beach which we belong to. There is public transportation at the end of the street and taxi cabs are available as well. And did I mention this home is in Burlington, Vermont? Home of the University of Vermont, Church Street Marketplace, and many restaurants and breweries. We are also near Shelburne Museum, Burlington International Airport, Stowe (home of Ben and Jerry's ice cream and many ski areas), and 1 1/2 hour car ride from Montreal, Canada. A wonderful place to live and a great place to visit!
