Horrible Customer Service

We arrived at the hotel after 2 days of driving to find that the hotel overbooked and gave our room away even though we had a reservation and confirmation. They acted like they had no record of our reservation and we were the ones who were mistaken until we contacted Kayak and getaroom.com who called the hotel, only then did they say they overbooked and gave our room to someone else. Customer service through getaroom.com however was phenomenal. They attempted to find us another room at another hotel. While they were doing that, we were able to find another hotel on our own, although more expensive. The customer service rep then contacted our new hotel and took care of the bill and still only charged us what we were originally quoted for the room at Travelodge. Because of this experience, I will never book Travelodge again but will definitely use this website to book again because of the customer service we received.
