โนโวเทล ปารีส การ์เดอลียง Novotel Paris Gare de Lyon

Location was fantastic, extremely close to a metro station that you could take to pretty much wherever in Paris you wanted to go. Whilst the hotel was very luxurious (especially after a free upgrade to the executive suite) the immediate area around the hotel was rather grubby, with some intimidating homeless stationed not too far from the main entrances. The facilities were great, a nice looking gym on the 3rd floor, the pool was very nice albeit a little smaller than the photos make out. The restaurant was reasonably priced, and the food was decent. The hotel staff very friendly and spoke a variety to languages and I felt there was no real language barrier. The hotel room was very comfortable and clean and could not be faulted.

Surrounding area a little scary in contrast to the niceness of the hotel. Walls are rather thin, and could hear the surrounding guests quite clearly.
