Hidden costs not provided when initially booking through kayak
ข้อดี: Customer service was fantastic. Vehicle more than suitable and very comfortable. A good drive.
ข้อเสีย: Minimal explanation in terms of contract agreement. We were offered no paperwork with details of insurance, excesses etc. Full to full gas tank option was not offered to us. But main issue is with the cost... When booking through kayak the original cost was $840. The final price we paid was $1940!!! Over double. It turns out that the original cost provided by kayak included no insurance cover whatsoever. I had expected to pay more to upgrade to more comprehensive cover, but had not unreasonably presumed that the quoted cost included basic cover. Enterprise also whacked on a $300 cleaning fee. I'm now broke. Will not be using enterprise again, and believe I was mis-sold a product by kayak. Not on.

Small Print!
ข้อเสีย: Initial price of $868 ended up costing over $1900, with compulsory insurance! Be up front with costs, won't be using Enterprise again!

ข้อดี: Quick, efficient service. Our car was upgraded We were accidentally charged for the upgrade but this was refunded at drop off without any hassle.

Extra charge $100 and nobody told me what for
ข้อดี: First impression was great.
ข้อเสีย: I went to return the car at 17:45 and there was no parking space, I had to leave the car on a street and when I came into the branch, the customer assistant was on his own and quite busy. He then asked me if I would be able to return the car to a different branch, I replied that I don't have time because I had a plane to catch, and so he asked if I could take the car to the airport branch. I said yes, but I asked him to let someone know about that. He said that's it's all ok, and free of charge. So I took it to the airport branch, where I was told that I had to pay extra $125 and no one was able to tell me what for. They only told me that someone in the original branch had to do something wrong. So yeah, I'm not happy and I'm awaiting an explanation.

All good. . Got a lucky upgrade
ข้อดี: I booked a compact and was lucky to be upgraded to a Camaro, which was awesome! !
ข้อเสีย: The insurance policy which was sold to me was very confusing. I thought the price agreed online included the very minimum insurance which is legally required in California. When picking up the car I was told I could drive it away but that it had absolutely no insurance cover, which is actually illegal in California. Not wanting to break the law, I purchased 3rd party liability for what amounted to nearly another 50% on top of the price agreed online. Not ideal. The fact I got the upgrade helped.

Great Rental and Price
ข้อดี: I was able to change the collection time 3-4 times due to a delayed flight and the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating about it. They also allowed me to return the rental directly to LAX with a reduced fee payment. This did limit the options on which car I could take but still managed to get a mini SUV.
ข้อเสีย: The car wasn't very clean and the gas tank wasn't full.
